Again the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),
“Ban (son) of adam (man), cause Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) to yadai (know) her thawaibah (abominations);
And amar (spoke), ‘Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah () to Yarawashalam (Jerusalem): “Your makawarah (birth) and your birth is of the aratz (Earth/land) of the Kanainay (Canaanite); the Amaray (Amorite) was your ab (father), and your am (mother) was a Chathay (Hittite).
As for your birth, in the yawam (day) you were yalad (birth / begot) your shar (prince / ruler) was not karath (cut), neither were you rachatz (washed) in mayam (Waters) to cleanse you; you weren't malach (salted) at malach (all), nor chathal (swaddled) at chathal (all).
No iyan (eye) chawas (pitied) you, to ishah (make) any of these things to you, to chamal (have) compassion on you; but you were shalak (cast) out in the panayam (face) shadah (field), for that your napash (soul) was abhorred, in the yawam (day) that you were yalad (birth / begot).
“‘“When I ibar (pass over/through) by you, and raah (see / saw) you wallowing in your dam (blood), I amar (said) to you, ‘Though you are in your dam (blood), chayah (live);’ yes, I amar (said) to you, ‘Though you are in your dam (blood), chayah (live).’
I nathan (give) you to rababah (multiply) as that which tzamach (grows) in the shadah (field), and you rabah (increased) and gadal (grew) great, and you bawaa (bring) to iday (ornament / adornment) iday (ornament / adornment); your shadayam (breasts) were kawan (fashioned), and your shair (hair) was tzamach (grown); yet you were iyaram (naked) and bore.
“‘“Now when I ibar (pass over/through) by you, and raah (see) at you, behold, your ith (time) was the ith (time) of dawad (love); and I parash (spread) my kanap (skirt) over you, and kasah (covered) your irawah (nakedness): yes, I shabai (swear / take oath) to you, and bawaa (come) into a barayath (covenant) with you,” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “and you became mine.
“‘“Then rachatz (washed) I you with mayam (Waters); yes, I thoroughly shatap (washed) away your dam (blood) from you, and I sawak (anointed) you with shaman (oil).
I labash (clothed) you also with embroidered raqamah (work), and shod you with sealskin, and I dressed you about with shash (six) linen, and kasah (covered) you with mashay (silk).
I idah (decked) you with iday (ornament / adornment), and I nathan (give) tzamayadayam (bracelets) on your yad (hand), and a rabayad (chain) on your garawan (neck).
I nathan (give) a ring on your ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting), and igayalayam (earrings) in your azan (ear), and a thapaarah (beautiful) itarah (crown) on your raash (head).
Thus you were idah (decked) with zahab (gold) and kasap (silver); and your clothing was of shash (six) linen, and mashay (silk), and embroidered raqamah (work); you akal (eat) fine salath (flour), and dabash (honey), and shaman (oil); and you were maad (exceedingly) yapah (beautiful), and you tzalach (prospered) to malawakah (royal) estate.
Your sham (name) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth among the gawayam (nations) for your yapay (beauty); for it was kalayal (perfect), through my hadar (glory / majesty / splendor) which I had shawam (place / establish / appoint) on you,” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().
“‘“But you batach (trusted) in your yapay (beauty), and zanah (played) the prostitute because of your sham (name), and shapak (poured) out your prostitution on everyone who ibar (pass over/through) by; his it was.
You laqach (take / seize) of your bagad (garments), and made for yourselves bamah (high) places ishah (make) with various colors, and zanah (played) the prostitute on them: the like things shall not bawaa (bring), neither shall it be so.
You also laqach (take / seize) your thapaarah (beautiful) kalay (jewels) of my zahab (gold) and of my kasap (silver), which I nathan (give) given you, and ishah (make) for yourself tzalamay (images) of zakar (remember), and zanah (played) the prostitute with them;
And you laqach (take / seize) your embroidered bagaday (garments), and kasah (covered) them, and nathan (give) my shaman (oil) and my qatarath (incense) panayam (face) them.
My lacham (bread) also which I nathan (give) you, fine salath (flour), and shaman (oil), and dabash (honey), with which I akal (eat) you, you even nathan (give) it panayam (face) them for a pleasant aroma; and thus it was,” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().
“‘“Moreover you have laqach (take / seize) your ban (son) and your banath (daughter), whom you have yalad (birth / begot) to me, and you have zabach (sacrificed) these to them to be akal (eat). Was your prostitution a mait (small) matter,
That you have shachat (slain) my ban (son), and nathan (give) them up, in ibar (pass over/through) them to pass through the fire to them?
In all your thawaibah (abominations) and your prostitution you have not zakar (remember) the yamay (days) of your naiwar (youth), when you were iyaram (naked) and bore, and were wallowing in your dam (blood).
“‘“It has happened achar (other) all your rai (wickedness), (away (woe), away (woe) to you!” Naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ()),
“That you have banah (build) for yourselves a vaulted gab (place), and ishah (make) made yourselves a lofty ramah (place) in every rachab (street).
You have banah (build) your lofty ramah (place) at the raash (head) of every darak (way), and have made your yapay (beauty) a thaib (abomination), and have pashaq (opened) your ragal (feet / foot) to everyone who ibar (pass over/through) by, and rabah (multiplied) your prostitution.
You have also zanah (committed) sexual immorality with the banay (my son), your neighbors, gadal (great) of bashar (flesh); and rabah (have) multiplied your prostitution, to provoke me to kais (anger).
See therefore, I have natah (stretched) out my yad (hand) over you, and have garai (diminished) your ordinary food, and nathan (give) you to the napash (soul) of those who shanaa (hate) you, the banawath (daughters) of the Palashathay (Philistines), who are kalam (ashamed) of your zamah (lewd) darak (way).
You have zanah (played) the prostitute also with the banay (my son), balathay (without) you were insatiable; yes, you have zanah (played) the prostitute with them, and yet you weren't shabaih (seven).
You rabah (have) moreover multiplied your prostitution to the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (merchants), to Kashaday (Chaldea); and yet you weren't shabai (satisfied) with zaath (this).
“‘“How amal (weak) is your labah (heart),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “since you ishah (make) all these things, the maishah (work) of a impudent prostitute;
In that you banah (build) your vaulted gab (place) at the raash (head) of every darak (way), and ishah (make) your lofty ramah (place) in every rachab (street), and have not been as a prostitute, in that you qalas (scorn) pay.
“‘“A ayashah (woman / wife) who naap (commits) adultery! Who laqach (take / seize) strangers instead of her ayash (man / husband)!
They nathan (give) nadah (gifts) to all prostitutes; but you nathan (give) your nadan (gifts) to all your lovers, and bribe them, that they may bawaa (bring) to you on sabayab (surrounding) side for your prostitution.
You are different from other nashayam (women) in your prostitution, in that no one achar (other) you to zanah (play) the prostitute; and whereas you nathan (give) athanan (hire), and no athanan (hire) is nathan (give) to you, therefore you are different.”’
“Therefore, prostitute, shamai (hearken / hear) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah ():
‘Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “Because your nachashath (filthiness) was shapak (poured) out, and your irawah (nakedness) galah (uncovered) through your prostitution with your lovers; and because of all the galawalay (idols) of your thawaibah (abominations), and for the dam (blood) of your ban (son), that you nathan (give) to them;
Therefore see, I will qabatz (gather) all your lovers, with whom you have irab (evening) pleasure, and all those who you have ahab (love), with all those who you have shanaa (hate); I will even qabatz (gather) them against you on sabayab (surrounding) side, and will galah (uncover) your irawah (nakedness) to them, that they may raah (see / saw) all your irawah (nakedness).
I will shapat (judge / judgement) you, as naapawath (women) who break wedlock and shapak (shed) dam (blood) are mashapat (judged); and I will nathan (give) on you the dam (blood) of chamah (wrath) and qanaah (jealousy).
I will also nathan (give) you into their yad (hand), and they shall haras (throw) down your vaulted gab (place), and nathatz (break) down your lofty ramah (places); and they shall pashat (strip) you of your clothes, and laqach (take / seize) your thapaarah (beautiful) kalay (jewels); and they shall yanach (leave) you iyaram (naked) and bore.
They shall also ilah (go up / offer) up a qahal (company) against you, and they shall ragam (stone) you with aban (stone), and bathaq (thrust) you through with their charab (sword).
They shall sharap (burn) your bayath (house) with ash (fire), and ishah (make) shapatayam (judgments) on you in the iyan (eye) of many nashayam (women); and I will shabath (shabath / rest) you to cease from zanah (playing) the prostitute, and you shall also nathan (give) no athanan (hire) any more.
So will I cause my chamah (wrath) toward you to nawach (rest), and my qanaah (jealousy) shall sawar (depart) from you, and I will be shaqat (quiet), and will be no more kais (angry).
“‘“Because you have not zakar (remember) the yamay (days) of your naiwar (youth), but have ragaz (raged) against me in all these things; therefore, haa (behold), I also will nathan (give) your darak (way) on your raash (head),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “and you shall not ishah (make) this lewdness with all your thawaibah (abominations).
“‘“Behold, everyone who uses mashal (speak in proverb/parable) shall use this mashal (speak in proverb/parable) amar (said) you, saying, ‘As is the am (mother), so is her banath (daughter).’
You are the banath (daughter) of your am (mother), who loathes her ayash (man / husband) and her ban (son); and you are the achawath (sister) of your achawath (sisters), who loathed their ayash (man / husband) and their ban (son): your am (mother) was a Chathay (Hittite), and your ab (father) a Amaray (Amaray / Amorite).
Your gadawal (very great/important/mighty) achawath (sister) is Shamarawan (Samaria), who yashab (inhabit/dwell) at your left shamaawal (left hand), she and her banath (daughter); and your younger achawath (sister), who yashab (inhabit/dwell) at your right yamayan (right hand), is Sadam (Sodom) and her banath (daughter).
Yet have you not halak (move) in their darak (ways), nor ishah (make) after their thawaibah (abominations); but, as if that were a very mait (little) thing, you were more shachath (corrupt) than they in all your darak (ways).
As I chay (life),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “Sadam (Sodom) your achawath (sister) ishah (make) not done, she nor her banath (daughter), as you ishah (make) done, you and your banath (daughter).
“‘“Behold, this was the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of your achawath (sister) Sadam (Sodom): gaawan (pride), fullness of lacham (bread), and prosperous ease was in her and in her banath (daughter); neither did she chazaq (strengthen) the yad (hand) of the inay (poor) and abayawan (needy).
They were gabah (haughty), and ishah (make) thawaibah (abomination) panayam (face) me: therefore I sawar (took) them away as I raah (see / saw) good.
Neither has Shamarawan (Samaria) chataa (committed) chatzay (half) of your chataah (sin); but you rabah (have) multiplied your thawaibah (abominations) more than they, and have justified your achawath (sisters) by all your thawaibah (abominations) which you ishah (make) done.
You also, nashaa (lift) you your own kalamah (shame), in that you have given palal (judgment) for your achawath (sisters); through your chataah (sin) that you have thaib (committed) more abominable than they, they are more tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) that you: yes, be also bawash (confounded), and nashaa (lift) your kalamah (shame), in that you have justified your achawath (sisters).
“‘“I will shawab (turn) again their shabawath (captivity), the shabawath (captivity) of Sadam (Sodom) and her banath (daughter), and the shabawath (captivity) of Shamarawan (Samaria) and her banath (daughter), and the shabawath (captivity) of your shabawath (captives) in their thawak (midst);
That you may nashaa (lift) your own kalamah (shame), and may be kalam (ashamed) because of all that you ishah (make) done, in that you are a nacham (turn away / repent) to them.
Your achawath (sisters), Sadam (Sodom) and her banath (daughter), shall shawab (turn) to their qadamah (former) estate; and Shamarawan (Samaria) and her banath (daughter) shall shawab (turn) to their qadamah (former) estate; and you and your banath (daughter) shall shawab (turn) to your qadamah (former) estate.
For your achawath (sister) Sadam (Sodom) was not shamawaih (mentioned) by your pah (mouth) in the yawam (day) of your gaawan (pride),
Before your rai (wickedness) was galah (uncovered), as at the ith (time) of the charapah (reproach) of the banawath (daughters) of Aram (Syria), and of all who are around her, the banawath (daughters) of the Palashathay (Philistines), who do despite to you all around.
You have nashaa (lift) your lewdness and your thawaibah (abominations),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ().
“‘For thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “I will also ishah (make) with you as you ishah (make) done, who have bazah (despised) the alah (curse / oath) in parar (breaking) the barayath (covenant).
Nevertheless I will zakar (remember) my barayath (covenant) with you in the yamay (days) of your naiwar (youth), and I will qawam (rise up) to you a iwalam (eternity) barayath (covenant).
Then you shall zakar (remember) your darak (ways), and be kalam (ashamed), when you shall laqach (take / seize) your achawath (sisters), your gadawal (very great/important/mighty) qatanawath (sisters) and your younger; and I will nathan (give) them to you for banawath (daughters), but not by your barayath (covenant).
I will qawam (rise up) my barayath (covenant) with you; and you shall yadai (know) that I am Yahawah ();
That you may zakar (remember), and be bawash (confounded), and never pathachawan (open) your pah (mouth) any more, panayam (face) of your kalamah (shame), when I have kapar (forgiven) you all that you ishah (make) done,” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().’”
