1 He amar (said) to me, “ban (son) of adam (man), imad (stand) on your ragal (feet / foot), and I will dabar (word / matter) with you.”
2 The rawach (spirit / wind) bawaa (bring) into me when he dabar (word / matter) to me, and imad (set) me on my ragal (feet / foot); and I shamai (hearken / hear) him who dabar (word / matter) to me.
3 He amar (said) to me, “ban (son) of adam (man), I shalach (send) you to the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel), to a gaway (heathen / nation) of mawaradayam (rebels) who have marad (rebelled) against me. They and their ab (father) have pashai (transgressed) against me even to this very yawam (day).
4 The banayam (children) are qashah (rough / hard) and chazaq (stiff-hearted): I am shalach (send) you to them; and you shall amar (spoke) them, ‘Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah ().’
5 They, whether they will shamai (hearken / hear), or whether they will chadal (forbear), (for they are a rebellious bayath (house)), yet shall yadai (know) that there has been a nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) thawak (midst) them.
6 You, ban (son) of adam (man), don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) of them, neither be yaraa (fear / be afraid) of their dabar (word / matter), though sarabayam (briers) and salawanayam (thorns) are with you, and you do yashab (inhabit/dwell) among iqarabayam (scorpions): don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) of their dabar (word / matter), nor be chathath (dismayed) at their panayam (face), though they are a rebellious bayath (house).
7 You shall dabar (word / matter) my dabar (word / matter) to them, whether they will shamai (hearken / hear), or whether they will chadal (forbear); for they are most rebellious.
8 But you, ban (son) of adam (man), shamai (hearken / hear) what I dabar (word / matter) you; don't be rebellious like that rebellious bayath (house): patzah (open) your pah (mouth), and akal (eat) that which I nathan (give) you.”
9 When I raah (see / saw), behold, a yad (hand) was shalach (send) forth to me; and, behold, a scroll of a sapar (book / scribed document) was therein;
10 He parash (spread) it panayam (face) me: and it was kathab (write) within and achawar (without); and there were kathab (write) therein qanayam (lamentations), and hagah (mourning), and hay (exist).
