1 The dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came again to me, amar (spoke),
2 “Ban (son) of adam (man), there were shanayam (two) nashayam (women), the banawath (daughters) of achad (one) am (mother):
3 And they zanah (played) the prostitute in Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt); they zanah (played) the prostitute in their naiwar (youth); there were their shad (breasts) maik (pressed), and there was handled the bosom of their bathawalayam (virginity).
4 Their sham (name) were Ahalah (Oholah) the gadawal (very great/important/mighty), and Ahalayabah (Oholibah) her achawath (sister): and they became mine, and they yalad (birth / begot) banayam (sons) and banawath (daughters). As for their sham (name), Shamarawan (Samaria) is Ahalah (Oholah), and Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) Ahalayabah (Oholibah).
5 “Ahalah (Oholah) zanah (played) the prostitute when she thachath (under) mine; and she igab (doted) on her lovers, on the Ashawar (Assyrians) her neighbors,
6 Who were labash (clothed) with thakalath (blue), pachawath (governors) and saganayam (rulers), all of them chamad (desirable) bachawar (young) men, horsemen rakab (riding) on sawasayam (horses).
7 She nathan (give) her prostitution on them, the mabachar (choicest) banay (my son) of Ashawar (Assyria) all of them; and on whoever she igab (doted), with all their galawal (idols) she tamaa (defiled) herself.
8 Neither has she izab (left) her prostitution since the days of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt); for in her naiwar (youth) they shakab (lay) with her, and they handled the bosom of her bathawalayam (virginity); and they shapak (poured) out their prostitution on her.
9 “Therefore I nathan (give) her into the yad (hand) of her lovers, into the yad (hand) of the banay (my son), on whom she igab (doted).
10 These galah (uncovered) her irawah (nakedness); they laqach (take / seize) her ban (son) and her banath (daughter); and her they harag (kill) with the charab (sword): and she became a byword among nashayam (women); for they ishah (make) shapawatayam (judgments) on her.
11 “Her achawath (sister) Ahalayabah (Oholibah) raah (see / saw) this, yet was she more shachath (corrupt) in her doting than she, and in her prostitution which were more than the prostitution of her achawath (sister).
12 She igab (doted) on the banay (my son), pachawath (governors) and saganayam (rulers), her neighbors, labash (clothed) most makalawal (gorgeously), horsemen rakab (riding) on sawasayam (horses), all of them chamad (desirable) bachawar (young) men.
13 I raah (see / saw) that she was tamaa (defiled); they shanayam (two) took achad (one) darak (way).
14 “She yasap (increased) her prostitution; for she raah (see / saw) anashay (men) chaqah (portrayed) on the qayar (wall), the tzalamay (images) of the Kashaday (Chaldeans) portrayed with vermilion,
15 Dressed with azawar (girdles) on their waists, with flowing turbans on their raash (head), all of them shalashayam (princes) to look on, after the damawath (likeness) of the banay (my son) in Kashaday (Chaldea), the aratz (Earth/land) of their birth.
16 As soon as she maraah (saw) them she igab (doted) on them, and shalach (send) malaakayam (messengers) to them into Kashaday (Chaldea).
17 The banay (my son) bawaa (bring) to her into the mashakab (bed) of dawad (love), and they tamaa (defiled) her with their prostitution, and she was tamaa (polluted) with them, and her napash (soul) was yaqai (alienated) from them.
18 So she galah (uncovered) her prostitution, and galah (uncovered) her irawah (nakedness): then my napash (soul) was yaqai (alienated) from her, like as my napash (soul) was naqai (alienated) from her achawath (sister).
19 Yet she rabah (multiplied) her prostitution, zakar (remember) the yamay (days) of her naiwar (youth), in which she had zanah (played) the prostitute in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt).
20 She igab (doted) on their payalagash (paramours), whose bashar (flesh) is as the bashar (flesh) of donkeys, and whose zaramah (issue) is like the zaramah (issue) of sawasayam (horses).
21 Thus you called to memory the lewdness of your naiwar (youth), in the handling of your bosom by the Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) for the shaday (breasts) of your naiwar (youth).
22 “Therefore, Ahalayabah (Oholibah), thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘Behold, I will iwar (rouse / awaken) up your lovers against you, from whom your napash (soul) is naqai (alienated), and I will bawaa (come) them against you on sabayab (surrounding) side:
23 The banay (my son) and all the Kashaday (Chaldeans), Paqawad (precepts) and Shawai (Shoa) and Qawai (Koa), and all the banay (my son) with them; chamad (desirable) bachawar (young) men, pachawath (governors) and saganayam (rulers) all of them, saganayam (princes) and men of renown, all of them rakab (riding) on sawasayam (horses).
24 They shall bawaa (bring) against you with weapons, rakab (chariots), and wagons, and with a qahal (company) of imayam (peoples); they shall shawam (place / establish / appoint) themselves against you with tzanah (buckler) and magan (shield) and qawabai (helmet) all around; and I will nathan (give) the mashapat (judgment) to them, and they shall shapat (judge / judgement) you according to their mashapat (judgments).
25 I will nathan (give) my qanaah (jealousy) against you, and they shall ishah (make) with you in fury; they shall sawar (take) away your ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) and your azan (ear); and your acharayath (residue) shall napal (fall / be cast down) by the charab (sword): they shall laqach (take / seize) your ban (son) and your banath (daughter); and your acharayath (residue) shall be akal (eat) by the ash (fire).
26 They shall also pashat (strip) you of your clothes, and laqach (take / seize) away your thapaarah (beautiful) kalay (jewels).
27 Thus will I make your lewdness to shabath (shabath / rest) from you, and your prostitution brought from the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt); so that you shall not nashaa (lift) up your iyan (eye) to them, nor zakar (remember) Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) any more.’
28 “For thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘Behold, I will nathan (give) you into the yad (hand) of them whom you shanaa (hate), into the yad (hand) of them from whom your napash (soul) is naqai (alienated);
29 And they shall ishah (make) with you in hatred, and shall laqach (take / seize) away all your yagayai (labor), and shall izab (leave) you iyaram (naked) and irayah (nakedness); and the irawah (nakedness) of your prostitution shall be galah (uncovered), both your lewdness and your prostitution.
30 These things shall be ishah (make) to you, because you have zanah (played) the prostitute achar (other) the gawayam (heathen), and because you are tamaa (polluted) with their galawal (idols).
31 You have halak (move) in the darak (way) of your achawath (sister); therefore will I nathan (give) her kawas (cup) into your yad (hand).’
32 “Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘You will shathah (drinks) of your achawath (sister's) kawas (cup), which is imaq (deep) and rachab (large); you will be ridiculed and held in laig (derision); it kawal (all) much.
33 You shall be malaa (filled) with shakarawan (drunkenness) and yagawan (sorrow), with the kawas (cup) of shamah (astonishment) and shamamah (desolation), with the kawas (cup) of your achawath (sister) Shamarawan (Samaria).
34 You shall even shathah (drinks) it and drain it out, and you shall garam (gnaw) the broken pieces of it, and shall tear your shad (breasts); for I have dabar (word / matter) it,’ naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().
35 “Therefore thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘Because you have forgotten me, and shalak (cast) me achar (other) your gaw (back), therefore you also nashaa (lift) your lewdness and your prostitution.’”
36 Yahawah () amar (spoke) moreover to me: “ban (son) of adam (man), will you shapat (judge / judgement) Ahalah (Oholah) and Ahalayabah (Oholibah)? Then nagad (declare) to them their thawaibah (abominations).
37 For they have naap (committed) adultery, and dam (blood) is in their yad (hand); and with their galawal (idols) have they naap (committed) adultery; and they have also caused their ban (son), whom they yalad (birth / begot) to me, to ibar (pass over/through) through the fire to them to be akalah (devoured).
38 Moreover this they ishah (make) done to me: they have tamaa (defiled) my maqadash (sanctuary) in the same yawam (day), and have chalal (profaned) my shabath (shabath / rest).
39 For when they had shachat (slain) their ban (son) to their galawal (idols), then they bawaa (bring) the same yawam (day) into my maqadash (sanctuary) to chalal (profane) it; and behold, thus ishah (make) they done in the thawak (midst) of my bayath (house).
40 “Ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) you have shalach (send) for anashayam (men) who bawaa (bring) from marachaq (far), to whom a malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) was shalach (send), and behold, they bawaa (bring); for whom you did rachatz (wash) yourself, kachal (paint) your iyan (eye), and decorate yourself with iday (ornament / adornment),
41 And yashab (inhabit/dwell) on a kabawadah (stately) matah (bed), with a shalachan (table) irak (prepared) panayam (face) it, whereupon you shawam (place / establish / appoint) my qatarath (incense) and my shaman (oil).
42 “The qawal (sound / voice) of a hamawan (multitude) being at shalaw (ease) was with her: and with anashayam (men) of the rab (common) sort were bawaa (bring) Sabaa (drunkards) from the madabar (wilderness); and they nathan (give) tzamayadayam (bracelets) on their yad (hand) twain, and thapaarah (beautiful) itarah (crowns) on their raash (head).
43 Then I amar (said) of her who was balah (old) in naawapayam (adulteries), ‘Now will they zanah (play) the prostitute with her, and she with them.’
44 They bawaa (bring) in to her, as they bawaa (bring) in to a prostitute: so bawaa (bring) they in to Ahalah (Oholah) and to Ahalayabah (Oholibah), the zamah (lewd) ashath (women).
45 Tzadayaq (righteous) anashayam (men), they shall shapat (judge / judgement) them with the mashapat (judgment) of adulteresses, and with the mashapat (judgment) of women who shapak (shed) dam (blood); because they are adulteresses, and dam (blood) is in their yad (hand).
46 “For thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘I will ilah (go up / offer) up a qahal (company) against them, and will nathan (give) them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.
47 The qahal (company) shall ragam (stone) them with aban (stone), and baraa (created) them with their charab (sword); they shall harag (kill) their ban (son) and their banath (daughter), and sharap (burn) up their bayath (house) with ash (fire).
48 “‘Thus will I cause lewdness to shabath (shabath / rest) out of the aratz (Earth/land), that all nashayam (women) may be yasar (taught) not to ishah (make) after your lewdness.
49 They shall nathan (give) your lewdness on you, and you shall nashaa (lift) the chataay (sins) of your galawal (idols); and you shall yadai (know) that I am the Adanay () Yahawah ().’”
