“These are the madawath (measures) of the mazabach (altar) by amawath (cubits) (the amah (cubit) is a amah (cubit) and a tapach (handbreadth)): the chayaq (bottom) shall be a amah (cubit), and the tapach (breadth) a amah (cubit), and its gabawal (border/boundary) around its shapah (edge) a zarath (span); and this shall be the base of the mazabach (altar).
