Now while Izaraa (Ezra) palal (prayed) and made yadah (confession), bakah (weeping) and napal (fall / be cast down) himself down panayam (face) the bayath (house) of Alahayam (), there was qabatz (gathered) together to him out of Yashar-Al (Israel) a very rab (great) qahal (assembly) of rab (men) and nashayam (women) and yaladayam (children); for the panay (people) bakah (wept) very bitterly.

Shakanayah (Shecaniah) the ban (son) of Yachayaal (Jehiel), one of the banay (sons) of Iyalam (Elam), inah (answer / respond) Izaraa (Ezra), “We have mail (top/above) against our Alahayam (), and have yashab (inhabit/dwell) foreign nashayam (women) of the imay (peoples) of the aratz (Earth/land). Yet now there is maqawah (gathering / collection) for Yashar-Al (Israel) concerning this thing.

Now therefore let us karath (cut) a barayath (covenant) with our Alahayam () to yatzaa (go out / come out) away all the wives, and such as are yalad (birth / begot) of them, according to the itzah (counsel) of my Adanay (), and of those who tremble at the matzawah (commandment) of our Alahayam (). Let it be ishah (make) according to the thawarah (instruction).

Qawam (rise up); for the dabar (word / matter) belongs to you, and we are with you. Be courageous, and ishah (make) it.”

Then Izaraa (Ezra) qawam (rise up), and made the sharay (chiefs) of the kahanayam (priests), the Lawayay (Levites), and all Yashar-Al (Israel), to shabai (swear / take oath) that they would ishah (make) according to this dabar (word / matter). So they shabai (swear / take oath).

Izaraa (Ezra) the kahan (priest) qawam (rise up) up, and amar (said) to them, “You have mail (top/above), and have yashab (inhabit/dwell) foreign nashayam (women), to yasap (increase) the ashamah (guilt) of Yashar-Al (Israel).

Then all the qahal (assembly) inah (answer / respond) with a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) qawal (sound / voice), “As you have amar (said) concerning us, so must we ishah (make).

But the im (nation / people) are many, and it is a ith (time) of much gasham (rain), and we are not kach (strength / mighty / power) to imad (stand) outside; neither is this a malaakah (work) of achad (one) yawam (day) or shanayam (two); for we have greatly pashai (transgressed) in this dabar (word / matter).

Let now our shar (prince / ruler) be imad (appointed) for all the qahal (assembly), and let all those who are in our iyar (cities) who have yashab (inhabit/dwell) foreign nashayam (women) bawaa (come) at zaman (appointed) ithayam (times), and with them the zaqanay (elders) of every iyar (city), and its shapat (judge / judgement), until the charawan (fierce) ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) of our Alahayam () be shawab (turn back / repent) from us, until this dabar (word / matter) is resolved.”
