1 It happened in the yamay (days) of Amarapal (Amraphel), malak (king) of Shanair (Shinar), Arayawak (Arioch), malak (king) of Alasar (Ellasar), Kadaralaimar (Chedorlaomer), malak (king) of Iyalam (Elam), and Thadail (Tidal), malak (king) of Goiim,
2 That they ishah (make) malachamah (war) with Barai (Bera), malak (king) of Sadam (Sodom), and with Barashai (Birsha), malak (king) of Imarah (Gomorrah), Shanaab (Shinab), malak (king) of Adamah (Admah), and Shamaabar (Shemeber), malak (king) of Tzabaayam (Zeboiim), and the malak (king) of Balai (Bela) (the same is Tzair (Zoar)).
3 All these chabar (joined) together in the imaq (valley) of Shadayam (Siddim) (the same is the malach (salt) yam (sea/waters)).
4 Ishar (-teen) shanah (years) they ibad (servant) Kadaralaimar (Chedorlaomer), and in the thirteenth shanah (year), they marad (rebelled).
5 In the fourteenth shanah (year) Kadaralaimar (Chedorlaomer) bawaa (come), and the malakayam (kings) who were with him, and nakah (struck) the Rapaa (Rephaim) in Ashteroth ishatharathaqaranayam (karnaim), and the Zawazayam (Zuzim) in Ham (Ham), and the Ayamayam (Emim) in shawah (shaveh) Qarayathayam (Kiriathaim),
6 And the Charay (Horites) in their har (mountain) Shaiyar (Seir), to Ayalapaaran (Elparan), which is by the madabar (wilderness).
7 They shawab (turn), and bawaa (bring) to Iyanamashapat (En Mishpat) (the same is Qadash (set apart / make holy)), and nakah (struck) all the shadah (country) of the Imalaqay (Amalekites), and also the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), that lived in Hazazon Chatzatzawanathamar (Tamar).
8 The malak (king) of Sadam (Sodom), and the malak (king) of Imarah (Gomorrah), and the malak (king) of Adamah (Admah), and the malak (king) of Tzabaayam (Zeboiim), and the malak (king) of Balai (Bela) (the same is Tzair (Zoar)) yatzaa (go out / come out) out; and they irak (set) the malachamah (battle) in array against them in the imaq (valley) of Shadayam (Siddim);
9 Against Kadaralaimar (Chedorlaomer) malak (king) of Iyalam (Elam), and Thadail (Tidal) malak (king) of Goiim, and Amarapal (Amraphel) malak (king) of Shanair (Shinar), and Arayawak (Arioch) malak (king) of Alasar (Ellasar); arabai (four) malakayam (kings) against the chamash (five).
10 Now the imaq (valley) of Shadayam (Siddim) was full of tar baarath (pits); and the malak (king) of Sadam (Sodom) and Imarah (Gomorrah) nawas (fled), and they napal (fall / be cast down) there, and those who shaar (remained) nawas (fled) to the har (mountain).
11 They laqach (take / seize) all the rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions) of Sadam (Sodom) and Imarah (Gomorrah), and all their akal (food), and went their yalak (way).
12 They laqach (take / seize) Lawat (Lot), Abaram (Abaram) ach (brother/kinsman) ban (son), who lived in Sadam (Sodom), and his rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions), and departed.
13 One who had palayat (escaped) bawaa (bring) and nagad (told) Abaram (Abaram), the ibaray (hebrew). Now he lived by the oaks of Mamaraa (Mamre), the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), ach (brother/kinsman) of Ashakal (Eshcol), and ach (brother/kinsman) of Inar (Aner); and these were allies of Abaram (Abaram).
14 When Abaram (Abaram) shamai (hearken / hear) that his relative was shabah (taken) captive, he led out his chanayak (trained) men, yalayad (born) in his bayath (house), shalawash (three) maah (hundred) and eighteen, and radap (pursued) as far as Dan (Dan).
15 He chalaq (divided) himself against them by layal (night), he and his ibad (servant), and nakah (struck) them, and radap (pursued) them to Chawabah (Hobah), which is on the left shamaawal (left hand) of Damashaq (Damascus).
16 He shawab (turn) back all the rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions), and also shawab (turn) back his relative, Lawat (Lot), and his rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions), and the nashayam (women) also, and the im (nation / people).
17 The malak (king) of Sadam (Sodom) yatzaa (go out / come out) out to qaraah (meet) him, achar (other) his shawab (turn) from the nakah (slaughter) of Kadaralaimar (Chedorlaomer) and the malakayam (kings) who were with him, at the imaq (valley) of Shawah (Shaveh) (that is, the malakayam (kings) imaq (valley)).
18 Malakayatzadaq (King of) malak (king) of Shalam (Salem) yatzaa (go out / come out) out lacham (bread) and yayan (wine): and he was kahan (priest) of Al Most ilayawan (Most High).
19 He barak (blessed) him, and amar (said), “barak (blessed) be Abaram (Abaram) of Al Most ilayawan (Most High), qanah (possessor) of shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens) and aratz (Earth/land):
20 And barak (blessed) be Al Most ilayawan (Ilayawan), who has magan (delivered) your tzar (oppressor / distressor) into your yad (hand).” Abaram (Abram) nathan (give) him a maishar (tenth) of all.
21 The malak (king) of Sadam (Sodom) amar (said) to Abaram (Abaram), “nathan (give) me the napash (soul), and laqach (take / seize) the rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions) to yourself.”
22 Abaram (Abram) amar (spoke) to the malak (king) of Sadam (Sodom), “I have rawam (will lift up) up my yad (hand) to Yahawah (), Al Most ilayawan (Ilayawan), qanah (possessor) of shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens) and aratz (Earth/land),
23 That I will not laqach (take / seize) a chawat (thread) nor a sandal strap nor anything that is yours, lest you should amar (said), ‘I have ishar (made) Abaram (Abaram) ishar (rich).’
24 I will accept nothing from you except that which the young anashayam (men) have akal (eat), and the chalaq (portion) of the anashayam (men) who halak (move) with me: Inar (Aner), Ashakal (Eshcol), and Mamaraa (Mamre). Let them laqach (take / seize) their chalaq (portion).”
