Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch) laqach (take / seize) to himself maqalawath (rods) of fresh labanah (poplar), almond, plane iramawan (tree), peeled laban (white) streaks in them, and made the laban (white) appear which was in the maqalawath (rods).
