He tzawah (commanded) the steward of his bayath (house), amar (said), “malaa (fill) the anashayam (mens) amathachath (sacks) with akal (food), as much as they yakal (can) nashaa (lift), and shawam (place / establish / appoint) each anashayam (mans) kasap (money) in his amathachath (sack's) pah (mouth).
Shawam (place / establish / appoint) my gabayai (cup), the kasap (silver) gabayai (cup), in the amathachath (sack's) pah (mouth) of the youngest, with his grain kasap (money).” He ishah (make) according to the dabar (word / matter) that Yawasap (Joseph) had dabar (word / matter).
As soon as the baqar (morning) was awar (light), the anashayam (men) were shalach (send) away, they and their donkeys.
When they yatzaa (go out / come out) gone out of the iyar (city), and were not yet rachaq (far) off, Yawasap (Joseph) amar (said) to his bayath (house), “Up, radap (follow) achar (other) the anashayam (men). When you nashag (overtake) them, ask them, ‘Why have you shalam (rewarded) rai (evil) for tawab (good / proper function)?
Isn't this that from which my Adawan () shathah (drinks), and by which he nachash (indeed) nachash (divines)? You have done raii (wicked / dysfunctional / evil) in so ishah (make).’”
He overtook them, and he dabar (word / matter) these dabarayam (words) to them.
They amar (spoke) to him, “Why does my Adawan () dabar (word / matter) such dabarayam (words) as these? Chalayalah (far) be it from your ibad (servant) that they should ishah (make) such a thing!
Behold, the kasap (money), which we matzaa (found) in our amathachath (sacks)’ pah (mouths), we shawab (turn back / repent) again to you out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan). How then should we ganab (steal) kasap (silver) or zahab (gold) out of your Adawan () bayath (house)?
With whomever of your ibadayam (servants) it is matzaa (found), let him mawath (death), and we also will be my Adawan () ibadayam (bondservants).”
He amar (said), “Now also let it be according to your kan (for sure): he with whom it is matzaa (found) will be my ibad (servant); and you will be naqay (blameless).”
Then they hurried, and each ayash (man / husband) took his amathachath (sack) down to the aratz (Earth/land), and each ayash (man / husband) pathach (opened) his amathachath (sack).
He chapash (searched), beginning with the gadawal (very great/important/mighty), and kalah (complete / finish) at the youngest. The gabayai (cup) was matzaa (found) in Banayamayan (Benjamin's) amathachath (sack).
Then they qarai (tore) their clothes, and each ayash (man / husband) imas (loaded) his donkey, and shawab (turn) to the iyar (city).
Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) and his ach (brother/kinsman) bawaa (bring) to Yawasap (Joseph's) bayath (house), and he was still there. They napal (fall / be cast down) on the aratz (Earth/land) panayam (face) him.
Yawasap (Joseph) amar (said) to them, “What maishah (deed) is this that you ishah (make) done? Don't you know that such a ayash (man / husband) as I can nachash (indeed) divine?”
Yahawadah (Judah) amar (spoke), “What will we tell my Adawan ()? What will we dabar (word / matter)? Or how will we tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) ourselves? Alahayam () matzaa (has) found out the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of your ibadayam (servants). Behold, we are my Adawan () ibadayam (bondservants), gam (indeed / moreover) we, and he also in whose hand the gabayai (cup) is matzaa (found).”
He amar (said), “chalayalah (far) be it from me that I should ishah (make) so. The ayash (man / husband) in whose yad (hand) the gabayai (cup) is matzaa (found), he will be my ibad (servant); but as for you, ilah (go up / offer) up in shalawam (peace / safety) to your ab (father).”
Then Yahawadah (Judah) nagash (came) near to him, and amar (spoke), “Oh, my Adawan (), please let your ibad (servant) dabar (word / matter) a dabar (word / matter) in my Adawan () azanay (ears), and don't let your ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) charah (hot with anger) against your ibad (servant); for you are even as Paraih (Pharaoh).
My Adawan () shaal (asked) his ibad (servant), amar (spoke), ‘yash (have) you a ab (father), or a ach (brother/kinsman)?’
We amar (spoke) to my Adawan (), ‘We yash (have) a ab (father), an old zaqan (man), and a yalad (birth / begot) of his zaqan (old) age, a qatan (small / young / least) one; and his ach (brother/kinsman) is mawath (death), and he alone is yathar (left) of his am (mother); and his ab (father) ahab (love) him.’
You amar (said) to your ibad (servant), ‘yarad (bring) him down to me, that I may shawam (place / establish / appoint) my iyan (eye) on him.’
We amar (spoke) to my Adawan (), ‘The boy can't izab (leave) his ab (father): for if he should izab (leave) his ab (father), his ab (father) would mawath (death).’
You amar (said) to your ibad (servant), ‘Unless your youngest ach (brother/kinsman) yarad (comes) down with you, you will see my panayam (face) no more.’
It happened when we ilah (go up / offer) up to your ibad (servant) my ab (father), we nagad (told) him the dabaray (words) of my Adawan ().
Our ab (father) amar (said), ‘shawab (turn) again, shabar (buy) us a mait (little) akal (food).’
We amar (said), ‘We can't yarad (go) down. If our youngest ach (brother/kinsman) is with us, then we will yarad (go) down: for we may not raah (see / saw) the ayash (man / husband) panayam (face), unless our youngest ach (brother/kinsman) is with us.’
Your ibad (servant), my ab (father), amar (said) to us, ‘You yadai (know) that my ayashah (woman / wife) yalad (birth / begot) me shanayam (two) sons:
And the achad (one) yatzaa (go out / come out) out from me, and I amar (said), “tarap (surely) he is tarap (torn) in pieces;” and I haven't raah (see / saw) him hanah (Behold).
If you laqach (take / seize) this im (nation / people) also from me, and harm qarah (happens) to him, you will yarad (bring) down my shayabah (old age / white hair - due to age) hairs with rai (sorrow) to shaawal (Sheol / afterlife).’
Now therefore when I bawaa (bring) to your ibad (servant) my ab (father), and the nair (boy) is not with us; since his napash (soul) is qashar (bound) up in the boy's napash (soul);
It will happen, when he raah (see / saw) that the nair (boy) is no more, that he will mawath (death). Your ibad (servant) will yarad (bring) down the shayabah (old age / white hair - due to age) hairs of your ibad (servant), our ab (father), with yagawan (sorrow) to shaawal (Sheol / afterlife).
For your ibad (servant) became collateral for the nair (boy) to my ab (father), amar (said), ‘If I don't bawaa (bring) him to you, then I will chataa (bear) the blame to my ab (father) yawam (day).’
Now therefore, please let your ibad (servant) stay instead of the nair (boy), a ibad (servant) to my Adawan (); and let the nair (boy) ilah (go up / offer) up with his ach (brother/kinsman).
For ayak (how) will I ilah (go up / offer) up to my ab (father), if the nair (boy) isn't with me?—lest I raah (see / saw) the rai (evil) that will matzaa (come) on my ab (father).”
