1 At that ith (time), Maradak (Merodach) Balaadan (Baladan) the ban (son) of Balaadan (Baladan), malak (king) of Babal (Babylon), shalach (send) saparayam (letters) and a manachah (present) to Chazaqayah (Hezekiah); for he shamai (hearken / hear) that he had been chalah (afflict), and had chazaq (recovered).
2 Chazaqayah (Hezekiah) was pleased with them, and showed them the bayath (house) of his nakath (precious) things, the kasap (silver), and the zahab (gold), the bashamayam (spices), and the tawab (good / proper function) shaman (oil), and all the bayath (house) of his armor, and all that was matzaa (found) in his awatzar (treasures). There was nothing in his bayath (house), nor in all his mamashalah (rule / govern), that Chazaqayah (Hezekiah) didn't show them.
3 Then Yashaiyah (Isaiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) bawaa (bring) to malak (king) Chazaqayah (Hezekiah), and asked him, “What did these anashayam (men) amar (said)? Ayan (NO ONE) did they bawaa (bring) from to you?” Chazaqayah (Hezekiah) amar (said), “They bawaa (bring) come from a aratz (Earth/land) rachawaq (far) from me, even from Babal (Babylon).”
4 Then he asked, “What raah (see / saw) they seen in your bayath (house)?” Chazaqayah (Hezekiah) amar (said), “They raah (see / saw) seen all that is in my bayath (house). There is nothing among my awatzar (treasures) that I raah (see / saw) not shown them.”
5 Then Yashaiyah (Isaiah) amar (spoke) to Chazaqayah (Hezekiah), “shamai (hearken / hear) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies):
6 ‘Behold, the yamayam (days) are bawaa (come) when all that is in your bayath (house), and that which your ab (father) have atzar (stored) up until this yawam (day), will be nashaa (lift) to Babal (Babylon). Nothing will be yathar (left),’ amar (spoke) Yahawah ().
7 ‘They will laqach (take / seize) away your ban (son) who will yatzaa (go out / come out) from you, whom you shall yalad (birth / begot), and they will be sarayasayam (eunuchs) in the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon's) hayakal (palace).’”
8 Then Chazaqayah (Hezekiah) amar (spoke) to Yashaiyah (Isaiah), “Yahawah () dabar (word / matter) which you have dabar (word / matter) is tawab (good / proper function).” He amar (spoke) moreover, “For there will be shalawam (peace / safety) and amath (truth) in my yawam (day).”
