Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () to me, “halak (move), and qanah (buy) yourself a pashathah (linen) belt, and shawam (place / establish / appoint) it on your waist, and don't bawaa (come) it in mayam (Waters).”
So I bought a belt according to the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), and shawam (place / establish / appoint) it on my waist.
The dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me the shanay (second) time, amar (spoke),
“Laqach (take / seize) the belt that you have bought, which is on your waist, and qawam (rise up), yalak (go) to the Parath (Euphrates), and taman (hide) it there in a cleft of the salai (rock).”
So I yalak (went), and taman (hid) it by the Parath (Euphrates), as Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) me.
It happened qatz (after) many yamayam (days), that Yahawah () amar (spoke) to me, “qawam (rise up), yalak (go) to the Parath (Euphrates), and laqach (take / seize) the belt from there, which I tzawah (commanded) you to taman (hide) there.”
Then I yalak (went) to the Parath (Euphrates), and chapar (dug), and laqach (take / seize) the belt from the maqawam (place) where I had taman (hidden) it; and behold, the belt was shachath (marred), it was tzalach (profitable) for nothing.
Then the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),
“Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), ‘In this way I will shachath (mar) the gaawan (pride) of Yahawadah (Judah), and the rab (great) gaawan (pride) of Yarawashalam (Jerusalem).
This rai (evil) im (nation / people), who maan (refuse) to shamai (hearken / hear) my dabar (word / matter), who halak (move) in the stubbornness of their lab (heart), and are yalak (gone) achar (other) other Alahayam () to ibad (servant) them, and to shachah (worship) them, shall even be as this belt, which is tzalach (profitable) for nothing.
For as the belt clings to the waist of a ayash (man / husband), so have I caused to cling to me the whole bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel) and the whole bayath (house) of Yahawadah (Judah), naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ();’ ‘that they may be to me for a im (nation / people), and for a sham (name), and for a thahalah (praise), and for a glory: but they would not shamai (hearken / hear).’
“Therefore you shall amar (spoke) to them this dabar (word / matter): ‘Thus amaraw (says) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), “Every nabal (bottle) shall be malaa (filled) with yayan (wine):”’ and they shall amar (spoke) you, ‘Do we not yadai (certainly) yadai (know) that every nabal (bottle) shall be malaa (filled) with yayan (wine)?’
Then you shall amar (spoke) them, ‘Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), “Behold, I will malaa (fill) all the yashabay (inhabitants) of this aratz (Earth/land), even the malakayam (kings) who yashab (inhabit/dwell) on Dawad (David's) kasaa (throne), and the kahanayam (priests), and the nabayaayam (prophets), and all the yashabay (inhabitants) of Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), with shakarawan (drunkenness).
I will napatz (dash) them ayash (man / husband) against ach (brother/kinsman), even the abawath (fathers) and the banayam (sons) yachad (together),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (): “I will not chamal (pity), nor chawas (spare), nor racham (show mercy / love) compassion, that I should not shachath (destroy) them.”’”
Shamai (hearken / hear), and azan (ear) ear; don't be gabah (proud); for Yahawah () has dabar (word / matter).
Nathan (give) kabawad (glory) to Yahawah () your Alahayam (), before he causes chashak (darkness), and before your ragal (feet / foot) nagap (stumble) on the nashap (dark) haray (mountains), and, while you qawah (gather/wait) for awar (light), he shawam (place / establish / appoint) it into the shadow of tzalamawath (death), and shayath (put / appoint / make) it irapal (gross) darkness.
But if you will not shamai (hearken / hear) it, my napash (soul) shall bakah (weep) in masathar (secret) for your gawah (pride); and my iyan (eye) shall damai (weep) bitterly, and yarad (run) down with damaih (tears), because Yahawah () idar (flock) is shabah (taken) captive.
Amar (said) to the malak (king) and to the gabayarah (queen) mother, “shapal (humble) yourselves, yashab (inhabit/dwell) down; for your headdresses have yarad (come) down, even the itarah (crown) of your glory.
The iray (cities) of the nagab (south) are sagar (shut) up, and there is none to pathach (open) them: Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) is galah (carried) away captive, shalawam (peace / safety) of it; it is wholly galah (carried) away captive.
Nashaa (lift) up your iyan (eye), and raah (see / saw) those who bawaa (bring) from the tzapawan (north): where is the idar (flock) that was nathan (give) you, your thapaarah (beautiful) tzaan (flock)?
What will you amar (said), when he shall paqad (visit) over you as raash (head) those whom you have yourself lamad (teach / instruct) to be alapayam (friends) to you? Shall not chabalayam (sorrows) achaz (take) hold of you, as of a ayashah (woman / wife) in yalad (birth / begot)?
If you amar (said) in your labab (heart), “Why are these things qaraa (called) on me?” For the greatness of your iwan (guilt/iniquity) are your shawal (skirts) galah (uncovered), and your iqab (heels) suffer chamas (violence).
Can the Kawashay (Ethiopian) hapak (change) his iwar (skin), or the namar (leopard) his chabarabarah (spots)? Then may you also do yatab (good), who are lamawad (accustomed) to do raii (wicked / dysfunctional / evil).
“Therefore will I pawatz (scatter) them, as the qash (stubble) that passes ibar (pass over/through), by the rawach (spirit / wind) of the madabar (wilderness).
This is your gawaral (lot), the manah (portion) mad (measured) to you from me,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (); “because you have shakach (forgotten) me, and batach (trusted) in falsehood.”
Therefore will I also chashap (uncover) your shawal (skirts) on your panayam (face), and your qalawan (shame) shall raah (see / saw).
I raah (see / saw) seen your shaqawatz (abominations), even your naap (adulteries), and your matzahalah (neighing), the lewdness of your prostitution, on the gabaiwath (hills) in the shadah (field). Away (woe) to you, Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem)! You will not be made tahar (clean); how iwad (more/again) shall it yet be?”
