The dabar (word / matter) that came to Yaramayah (Jeremiah) from Yahawah (), amar (spoke),
“Imad (stand) in the shair (gate) of Yahawah () bayath (house), and qaraa (called) there this dabar (word / matter), and amar (spoke), ‘shamai (hearken / hear) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), all you of Yahawadah (Judah), who bawaa (come) in at these shairayam (gates) to shachah (worship) Yahawah ().’”
Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), “yatab (amend) your darak (ways) and your mailal (doings), and I will shakan (place) you to dwell in this maqawam (place).
Don't batach (trust) in shaqar (lying) dabaray (words), amar (spoke), ‘The hayakal (temple) of Yahawah (), the hayakal (temple) of Yahawah (), the hayakal (temple) of Yahawah (), are these.’
For if you yatab (thoroughly) yatab (amend) your darak (ways) and your mailal (doings); if you ishah (make) ishah (make) mashapat (justice) between a ayash (man / husband) and his neighbor;
If you don't ishaq (oppress) the foreigner, the yathawam (fatherless), and the alamanah (widow), and don't shapak (shed) naqay (innocent) dam (blood) in this maqawam (place), neither yalak (walk) achar (other) other Alahayam () to your own rai (hurt):
Then will I shakan (place) you to dwell in this maqawam (place), in the aratz (Earth/land) that I nathan (give) to your ab (father), from of iwalam (eternity) even forevermore.
Behold, you batach (trust) in shaqar (lying) dabaray (words), that can't yail (profit).
Will you ganab (steal), ratzach (murder), and naap (commit) adultery, and shabai (swear / take oath) falsely, and qatar (burn) incense to Bail (Baal), and halak (move) achar (other) other Alahayam () that you yadai (have) not known,
And bawaa (bring) and imad (stand) panayam (face) me in this bayath (house), which is qaraa (called) by my sham (name), and amar (said), ‘We are natzal (delivered);’ that you may ishah (make) all these thawaibawath (abominations)?
Is this bayath (house), which is qaraa (called) by my sham (name), become a mairah (den) of paratzayam (robbers) in your iyan (eye)? Raah (see), I, even I, have seen it,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ().
“But yalak (go) now to my maqawam (place) which was in Shayalah (Shiloh), where I caused my sham (name) to shakan (place) at the raashawan (first), and raah (see / saw) what I ishah (make) to it for the rai (wickedness) of my im (nation / people) Yashar-Al (Israel).
Now, because you ishah (make) done all these maishayam (works),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (), “and I dabar (word / matter) to you, shakam (rising) up early and dabar (word / matter), but you didn't shamai (hearken / hear); and I qaraa (called) you, but you didn't inah (answer / respond):
Therefore will I ishah (make) to the bayath (house) which is qaraa (called) by my sham (name), in which you batach (trust), and to the maqawam (place) which I nathan (give) to you and to your ab (father), as I ishah (make) to Shayalah (Shiloh).
I will shalak (cast) you out of my panayam (face), as I have shalak (cast) out all your ach (brother/kinsman), even the whole zarai (seed) of Aparayam (Ephraim).
“Therefore don't palal (pray) for this im (nation / people), neither nashaa (lift) up a ranah (cry) nor thapalah (prayer) for them, neither pagai (make) intercession to me; for I will not shamai (hearken / hear) you.
Don't you raah (see / saw) what they ishah (make) in the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) and in the chatzawath (streets) of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem)?
The banayam (children) laqat (gather) itz (wood), and the abawath (fathers) bair (kindle) the ash (fire), and the nashayam (women) lawash (knead) the batzaq (dough), to ishah (make) kawanayam (cakes) to the malakath (queen) of the sky, and to nasak (pour) out drink nasakayam (offerings) to other Alahayam (), that they may provoke me to kais (anger).
Do they provoke me to kais (anger)?” Naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (). “Don't they provoke themselves, to the bashath (confusion) of their own panayam (face)?”
Therefore thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “Behold, my ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) and my chamah (wrath) shall be nathak (poured) out on this maqawam (place), on adam (man), and on animal, and on the itz (trees) of the shadah (field), and on the paray (fruit) of the adamah (ground); and it shall bair (burn), and shall not be kabah (quenched).”
Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel): “sapah (add) your burnt ilah (offerings) to your zabach (sacrifices), and akal (eat) meat.
For I didn't dabar (word / matter) to your ab (father), nor tzawah (command) them in the yawam (day) that I yatzaa (go out / come out) them out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), dabar (word / matter) burnt ilah (offerings) or zabach (sacrifices):
But this thing I tzawah (commanded) them, amar (spoke), ‘shamai (hearken / hear) to my qawal (sound / voice), and I will be your Alahayam (), and you shall be my im (nation / people); and halak (move) in all the darak (way) that I tzawah (command) you, that it may be yatab (well) with you.’
But they didn't shamai (hearken / hear) nor natah (turn) their azan (ear), but yalak (walked) in their own maitzawath (counsels) and in the stubbornness of their rai (evil) lab (heart), and went backward, and not forward.
Since the yawam (day) that your ab (father) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) to this yawam (day), I have shalach (send) to you all my ibad (servant) the nabayaayam (prophets), yawam (day) shakam (rising) up early and shalach (send) them:
Yet they didn't shamai (hearken / hear) to me, nor natah (inclined) their azan (ear), but made their irap (neck) qashah (rough / hard): they raii (wicked / dysfunctional / evil) worse than their ab (father).
“You shall dabar (word / matter) all these dabarayam (words) to them; but they will not shamai (hearken / hear) to you: you shall also qaraa (called) to them; but they will not inah (answer / respond) you.
You shall amar (spoke) them, ‘This is the gaway (heathen / nation) that has not shamai (hearken / hear) to the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah () their Alahayam (), nor laqach (take / seize) mawasar (instruction): amawanah (truth) is abad (destroy / perish), and is karath (cut) off from their pah (mouth).’
Gazaz (cut) off your nazar (crown / consecrate), and shalak (throw) it away, and nashaa (lift) up a qayanah (lamentation) on the bare heights; for Yahawah () has maas (rejected) and forsaken the dawar (generation / age / period) of his ibarah (wrath).
“For the banay (children) of Yahawadah (Judah) ishah (make) done that which is rai (evil) in my iyan (eye),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (): “they have shawam (place / establish / appoint) their shaqawatz (abominations) in the bayath (house) which is qaraa (called) by my sham (name), to tamaa (defile) it.
They have banah (build) the bamah (high) places of Thapath (Topheth), which is in the gayaa (valley) of the ban (son) of Hanam (Hinnom), to sharap (burn) their ban (son) and their banath (daughter) in the ash (fire); which I didn't tzawah (command), nor did it ilah (go up / offer) into my lab (heart).
Therefore, behold, the yamayam (days) bawaa (come)”, naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (), “that it shall no more be amar (spoke) ‘Thapath (Topheth)’, nor ‘The gayaa (valley) of the ban (son) of Hanam (Hinnom)’, but ‘The gayaa (valley) of haragah (slaughter)’: for they shall qabar (bury) in Thapath (Topheth), until there is no maqawam (place) to bury.
The nabalah (dead) bodies of this im (nation / people) shall be maakal (food) for the iwap (flying) of the sky, and for the animals of the aratz (Earth/land); and none shall frighten them away.
Then will I shabath (shabath / rest) to cease from the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), and from the chatzawath (streets) of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), the qawal (sound / voice) of shashawan (mirth) and the qawal (sound / voice) of shamachah (gladness), the qawal (sound / voice) of the chathan (bridegroom) and the qawal (sound / voice) of the kalah (complete / finish); for the aratz (Earth/land) shall become a charabah (waste).”
