It happened, when Yabayan (Jabin) malak (king) of Chatzawar (Hazor) shamai (hearken / hear) of it, that he shalach (send) to Yawabab (Jobab) malak (king) of Madawan (Madon), to the malak (king) of Shamarawan (Shimron), to the malak (king) of Akashap (Achshaph),
And to the malakayam (kings) who were on the tzapawan (north), in the har (mountain) country, in the irabah (arabah) nagab (south) of Kanarawath (Chinneroth), in the lowland, and in the heights of Dawar (Dor) on the yam (sea/waters),
To the Kanainay (Canaanite) on the mazarach (east) and on the yam (sea/waters), and the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), and the Chathay (Hittite), and the Parazay (Perizzite), and the Yabawasay (Jebusite) in the har (mountain) country, and the Chaway (Hivite) under Charamawan (Hermon) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzapah (Mizpah).
They yatzaa (go out / come out) out, they and all their machanah (armies) with them, many im (nation / people), even as the chawal (sand) that is on the shapah (seashore) in rab (multitude), with very many sawas (horses) and rakab (chariots).
All these malakayam (kings) yaid (met) together; and they bawaa (bring) and chanah (encamped) yaid (together) at the may (waters) of Marawam (Merom), to lacham (fight) with Yashar-Al (Israel).
Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Yahawashawai (Joshua), “Don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) panayam (face) of them; for machar (tomorrow) at this ith (time), I will nathan (give) them up all chalal (slain) panayam (face) Yashar-Al (Israel). You shall hamstring their sawas (horses) and sharap (burn) their marakabah (chariots) with ash (fire).”
So Yahawashawai (Joshua) bawaa (bring), and all the im (nation / people) of malachamah (war) with him, against them by the may (waters) of Marawam (Merom) pathaawam (suddenly), and napal (fall / be cast down) on them.
Yahawah () nathan (give) them into the yad (hand) of Yashar-Al (Israel), and they nakah (struck) them, and radap (chased) them to rab (great) Tzayadawan (Sidon), and to Masharapawathamayam (Misrephoth Maim), and to the baqaih (valley) of Matzapah (Mizpeh) eastward. They nakah (struck) them until they shaar (left) them none sharayad (remaining).
Yahawashawai (Joshua) ishah (make) to them as Yahawah () amar (spoke) him. He hamstrung their sawas (horses) and burnt their marakabah (chariots) with ash (fire).
Yahawashawai (Joshua) shawab (turn) back at that ith (time), and lakad (took) Chatzawar (Hazor), and nakah (struck) its malak (king) with the charab (sword): for Chatzawar (Hazor) used to be the raash (head) of all those mamalakawath (kingdoms).
They nakah (struck) all the napash (soul) who were in it with the pah (edge) of the charab (sword), charam (utterly) destroying them. There was no one yathar (left) who nashamah (breathing thing). He burnt Chatzawar (Hazor) with ash (fire).
Yahawashawai (Joshua) captured all the iray (cities) of those malakayam (kings), with their malakayam (kings), and he nakah (struck) them with the pah (edge) of the charab (sword), and charam (utterly) destroyed them; as Mashah (Moses) the ibad (servant) of Yahawah () tzawah (commanded).
But as for the irayam (cities) that imad (stood) on their mounds, Yashar-Al (Israel) sharap (burned) none of them, except Chatzawar (Hazor) only. Yahawashawai (Joshua) sharap (burned) that.
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) took all the shalal (spoil) of these irayam (cities), with the livestock, as bazazaw (spoils) for themselves; but every adam (man) they nakah (struck) with the pah (edge) of the charab (sword), until they had destroyed them. They didn't shaar (leave) any who nashamah (breathing thing).
As Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) Mashah (Moses) his ibad (servant), so Mashah (Moses) tzawah (commanded) Yahawashawai (Joshua). Yahawashawai (Joshua) ishah (make) so. He sawar (left) nothing sawar (undone) of all that Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) Mashah (Moses).
So Yahawashawai (Joshua) captured all that aratz (Earth/land), the hill nagab (country), all the nagab (south), all the nagab (land) of Gashan (Goshen), the lowland, the irabah (arabah), the har (mountain) country of Yashar-Al (Israel), and the lowland of the same;
From har (mountain) Chalaq (Halak), that ilah (go up / offer) up to Shaiyar (Seir), even to Bail-Gad (Baal Gad) in the baqaih (valley) of Labanawan (Lebanon) under har (mountain) Charamawan (Hermon). He lakad (took) all their malak (king), nakah (struck) them, and put them to mawath (death).
Yahawashawai (Joshua) ishah (make) malachamah (war) a rab (long) yawam (day) with all those malakayam (kings).
There was not a iyar (city) that made shalam (peace) with the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel), except the Chaway (Hivites), the yashabay (inhabitants) of Gabaiwan (Gibeon). They laqach (take / seize) all in malachamah (battle).
For it was of Yahawah () to chazaq (harden) their lab (heart), to come qaraah (against) Yashar-Al (Israel) in malachamah (battle), that he might charam (utterly) destroy them, that they thachanah (might) have no favor, but that he might shamad (destroy) them, as Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) Mashah (Moses).
Yahawashawai (Joshua) bawaa (bring) at that ith (time), and karath (cut) off the inaqay (anakim) from the har (mountain) country, from Chabarawan (Hebron), from Dabayar (Debir), from Inab (Anab), and from all the har (mountain) country of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), and from all the har (mountain) country of Yashar-Al (Israel): Yahawashawai (Joshua) charam (utterly) destroyed them with their iyar (cities).
There were none of the inaqay (anakim) yathar (left) in the aratz (Earth/land) of the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel). Only in Izah (Gaza), in gath (gath), and in Ashadawad (Ashdod), did some shaar (remain).
So Yahawashawai (Joshua) laqach (take / seize) the whole aratz (Earth/land), according to all that Yahawah () dabar (word / matter) to Mashah (Moses); and Yahawashawai (Joshua) nathan (give) it for an nachalah (inheritance) to Yashar-Al (Israel) according to their machalaqath (divisions) by their shabat (tribes). The aratz (Earth/land) had shaqat (rest) from malachamah (war).
