11 They akal (eat) unleavened matzawath (commandment) and parched grain of the produce of the aratz (Earth/land) on the next macharath (day) after the pasach (passover), in the same yawam (day).
12 The man (from) shabath (shabath / rest) on the next macharath (day), after they had akal (eat) of the produce of the aratz (Earth/land). The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) didn't have man (from) any more; but they akal (eat) of the thabawaah (fruit) of the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan) that shanah (year).
13 It happened, when Yahawashawai (Joshua) was by Yarayachaw (Jericho), that he nashaa (lift) up his iyan (eye) and raah (see / saw), and behold, a ayash (man / husband) imad (stood) in front of him with his charab (sword) shalap (drawn) in his yad (hand). Yahawashawai (Joshua) yalak (went) to him, and amar (said) to him, “Are you for us, or for our tzar (oppressor / distressor)?”
14 He amar (spoke), “No; but I bawaa (come) come now as commander of Yahawah () tzabaa (troop).” Yahawashawai (Joshua) napal (fall / be cast down) on his panayam (face) to the aratz (Earth/land), and shachah (worshipped), and amar (spoke) to him, “What does my Adawan () amar (spoke) to his ibad (servant)?”
15 The shar (prince / ruler) of Yahawah () tzabaa (troop) amar (spoke) to Yahawashawai (Joshua), “Take your nail (shoes) off of your ragal (feet / foot); for the maqawam (place) on which you imad (stand) is qadash (set apart / make holy).” Yahawashawai (Joshua) ishah (make) so.
