Leviticus 2 — English–Hebrew Parallel

1 “‘When anyone qarab (come close) an qaraban (offering) of a meal offering to Yahawah (), his qaraban (offering) shall be of fine salath (flour); and he shall yatzaq (pour) shaman (oil) on it, and nathan (give) labawanah (frankincense) on it.

2 He shall bawaa (come) it to Aharawan (Aaron's) banay (sons), the kahanayam (priests); and he shall qamatz (take) his qamatz (handful) of its fine salath (flour), and of its shaman (oil), with all its labawanah (frankincense); and the kahan (priest) shall qatar (burn) its azakarah (memorial) on the mazabach (altar), an ashah (fire / offering made by fire) made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahawah ().

3 That which is yathar (left) of the meal manachah (offering) shall be Aharawan (Aaron's) and his ban (son)’. It is a most qadash (set apart / make holy) thing of the ashay (offerings) of Yahawah () made by ashah (fire / offering made by fire).

4 “‘When you qarab (come close) an manachah (offering) of a meal manachah (offering) baked in the thanawar (oven), it shall be unleavened chalawath (cakes) of fine salath (flour) balal (mixed) with shaman (oil), or unleavened raqayaqay (wafers) mashach (anointed) with shaman (oil).

5 If your manachah (offering) is a meal manachah (offering) of the griddle, it shall be of unleavened fine salath (flour), balal (mixed) with shaman (oil).

6 You shall cut it in pathayam (pieces), and yatzaq (pour) shaman (oil) on it. It is a meal manachah (offering).

7 If your manachah (offering) is a meal manachah (offering) of the pan, it shall be ishah (make) of fine salath (flour) with shaman (oil).

8 You shall bawaa (come) the meal manachah (offering) that is ishah (make) of these things to Yahawah (): and it shall be qarab (come close) to the kahan (priest), and he shall nagash (bring) it to the mazabach (altar).

9 The kahan (priest) shall rawam (will lift up) from the meal manachah (offering) its azakarah (memorial), and shall qatar (burn) it on the mazabach (altar), an ashah (fire / offering made by fire) made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahawah ().

10 That which is yathar (left) of the meal manachah (offering) shall be Aharawan (Aaron's) and his ban (son)’. It is a thing most qadash (set apart / make holy) of the ashay (offerings) of Yahawah () made by ashah (fire / offering made by fire).

11 “‘No meal manachah (offering), which you shall qarab (come close) to Yahawah (), shall be ishah (make) with yeast; for you shall qatar (burn) no yeast, nor any dabash (honey), as an ashah (fire / offering made by fire) made by ashah (fire / offering made by fire) to Yahawah ().

12 As an qaraban (offering) of firstfruits you shall qarab (come close) them to Yahawah (): but they shall not ilah (go up / offer) for a pleasant aroma on the mazabach (altar).

13 Every qaraban (offering) of your meal qaraban (offering) you shall malach (season) with malach (salt); neither shall you allow the malach (salt) of the barayath (covenant) of your Alahayam () to be shabath (shabath / rest) from your meal manachah (offering). With all your manachah (offerings) you shall qarab (come close) malach (salt).

14 “‘If you qarab (come close) a meal manachah (offering) of bakawar (first) fruits to Yahawah (), you shall qarab (come close) for the meal manachah (offering) of your bakawar (first) fruits grain in the abayab (ear) qalah (parched) with ash (fire), bruised grain of the fresh karamal (ear).

15 You shall nathan (give) shaman (oil) on it, and nathan (give) labawanah (frankincense) on it: it is a meal manachah (offering).

16 The kahan (priest) shall qatar (burn) as its azakarah (memorial), part of its bruised grain, and part of its shaman (oil), along with all its labawanah (frankincense): it is an ashah (fire / offering made by fire) made by fire to Yahawah ().
