1 “‘You shall ishah (make) for yourselves no alayalam (idols), neither shall you qawam (rise up) up an engraved pasal (image) or a matzabah (pillar), neither shall you nathan (give) any figured aban (stone) in your aratz (Earth/land), to shachah (bow) down to it: for I am Yahawah () your Alahayam ().
2 “‘You shall shamar (keep/guard) my shabath (shabath / rest), and have yaraa (fear / be afraid) for my maqadash (sanctuary). I am Yahawah ().
3 “‘If you yalak (walk) in my chaqah (statutes), and shamar (keep/guard) my matzawah (commandments), and ishah (make) them;
4 Then I will nathan (give) you your gasham (rains) in their ith (season), and the aratz (Earth/land) shall nathan (give) its yabawal (increase), and the itz (trees) of the shadah (field) shall nathan (give) their paray (fruit).
5 Your dayash (threshing) shall nashag (reach) to the batzayar (vintage), and the batzayar (vintage) shall nashag (reach) to the zarai (sowing) time; and you shall akal (eat) your lacham (bread) to the shabai (full), and yashab (inhabit/dwell) in your aratz (Earth/land) safely.
6 “‘I will nathan (give) shalawam (peace / safety) in the aratz (Earth/land), and you shall shakab (lie) down, and no one will make you charad (afraid); and I will remove rai (evil) animals out of the aratz (Earth/land), neither shall the charab (sword) ibar (pass over/through) through your aratz (Earth/land).
7 You shall radap (chase) your ayab (enemy), and they shall napal (fall / be cast down) panayam (face) you by the charab (sword).
8 Chamash (five) of you shall radap (chase) a maah (hundred), and a maah (hundred) of you shall radap (chase) rababah (ten) thousand; and your ayab (enemy) shall napal (fall / be cast down) panayam (face) you by the charab (sword).
9 “‘I will have panah (turn) for you, and parah (bear fruit / increase) you fruitful, and rabah (multiply) you, and will qawam (rise up) my barayath (covenant) with you.
10 You shall akal (eat) yashan (old) store long kept, and you shall move out the yashan (old) panayam (face) of the chadash (new).
11 I will nathan (give) my mashakan (tent) thawak (midst) you: and my napash (soul) won't gail (abhor) you.
12 I will halak (move) thawak (midst) you, and will be your Alahayam (), and you will be my im (nation / people).
13 I am Yahawah () your Alahayam (), who yatzaa (go out / come out) you forth out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt), that you should not be their ibadayam (slaves); and I have shabar (broken) the bars of your il (over), and yalak (made) you go qawamamayawath (upright).
14 “‘But if you will not shamai (hearken / hear) to me, and will not ishah (make) all these matzawath (commandment);
15 And if you shall maas (reject) my chaqah (statutes), and if your napash (soul) gail (abhors) my mashapat (ordinances), so that you will not ishah (make) all my matzawah (commandments), but parar (break) my barayath (covenant);
16 I also will ishah (make) this to you: I will paqad (visit) bahalah (terror) over you, even shachapath (consumption) and qadachath (fever), that shall kalah (complete / finish) the iyanayam (eyes), and make the napash (soul) to pine away; and you will zarai (sow) your zarai (seed) in rayaq (vain), for your ayab (enemy) will akal (eat) it.
17 I will nathan (give) my panayam (face) against you, and you will be nagap (struck) panayam (face) your ayab (enemy). Those who shanaa (hate) you will radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) over you; and you will nawas (flee) when no one radap (pursues) you.
18 “‘If you in spite of these things will not shamai (hearken / hear) to me, then I will yasar (chastise) you shabai (seven) times more for your chataah (sin).
19 I will shabar (break) the gaawan (pride) of your iz (strength / might / refuge), and I will nathan (give) your sky like barazal (iron), and your soil like nachawashah (brass);
20 And your kach (strength / mighty / power) will be thamam (spent) in rayaq (vain); for your aratz (Earth/land) won't nathan (give) its yabawal (increase), neither will the itz (trees) of the aratz (Earth/land) nathan (give) their paray (fruit).
21 “‘If you yalak (walk) qaray (contrary) to me, and won't shamai (hearken / hear) to me, then I abah (be willing / desire) yasap (bring) shabai (seven) times more makah (plagues) on you according to your chataah (sin).
22 I will shalach (send) the shadah (wild) animals among you, which will shakal (rob) you of your children, karath (cut) your livestock, and mait (make) you few in number; and your roads will become shamam (desolate).
23 “‘If by these things you won't be yasar (reformed) to me, but will halak (move) qaray (contrary) to me;
24 Then I will also halak (move) qaray (contrary) to you; and I will nakah (strike) you, even I, shabai (seven) times for your chataah (sin).
25 I will bawaa (bring) a charab (sword) upon you, that will execute the naqam (vengeance) of the barayath (covenant); and you will be asap (gathered) together al (toward) your iyar (cities): and I will shalach (send) the dabar (word / matter) thawak (midst) you; and you will be nathan (give) into the yad (hand) of the ayab (enemy).
26 When I shabar (break) your matah (staff / rod / tribe) of lacham (bread), ishar (ten) nashayam (women) shall apah (bake) your lacham (bread) in achad (one) thanawar (oven), and they shall shawab (turn) your lacham (bread) again by mashaqal (weight): and you shall akal (eat), and not be shabai (satisfied).
27 “‘If you in spite of zaath (this) won't shamai (hearken / hear) to me, but halak (move) qaray (contrary) to me;
28 Then I will halak (move) qaray (contrary) to you in chamah (wrath); and I also will yasar (chastise) you shabai (seven) times for your chataah (sin).
29 You will akal (eat) the bashar (flesh) of your ban (son), and you will akal (eat) the bashar (flesh) of your banath (daughter).
30 I will shamad (destroy) your bamah (high) places, and karath (cut) down your incense chaman (altars), and nathan (give) your pagar (dead) bodies upon the pagaray (bodies) of your galawal (idols); and my napash (soul) will gail (abhor) you.
31 I will nathan (give) your iyar (cities) charabah (waste), and will shamam (bring) your maqadash (sanctuaries) to desolation, and I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your nayachawach (offerings).
32 I will shamam (bring) the aratz (Earth/land) into desolation; and your ayab (enemy) that yashab (inhabit/dwell) therein will be shamam (astonished) at it.
33 I will zarah (scatter) you among the gawayam (heathen), and I will rawaq (draw) out the charab (sword) achar (other) you: and your aratz (Earth/land) will be a shamamah (desolation), and your iyar (cities) shall be a charabah (waste).
34 Then the aratz (Earth/land) will ratzah (enjoy) its shabath (shabath / rest) as yawam (day) as it shamam (lies) desolate and you are in your ayab (enemy)’ aratz (Earth/land). Even then the aratz (Earth/land) will shabath (shabath / rest) and ratzah (enjoy) its shabath (shabath / rest).
35 As yawam (day) as it shamam (lies) desolate it shall have shabath (shabath / rest), even the shabath (shabath / rest) which it didn't have in your shabath (shabath / rest), when you lived on it.
36 “‘As for those of you who are shaar (left), I will bawaa (bring) a marak (faintness) into their labab (hearts) in the aratzath (lands) of their ayab (enemy): and the qawal (sound / voice) of a nadap (driven) ilah (leaf) will radap (put) them to flight; and they shall nawas (flee), as one nasaw (flees) from the charab (sword); and they will napal (fall / be cast down) when no one radap (pursues).
37 They will kashal (stumble / stagger) over ayash (man / husband) ach (brother/kinsman), as it were panayam (face) the charab (sword), when no one radap (pursues): and you will have no thaqawamah (power) to stand panayam (face) your ayab (enemy).
38 You will abad (destroy / perish) among the gawayam (heathen), and the aratz (Earth/land) of your ayab (enemy) will akal (eat) you up.
39 Those of you who are shaar (left) will maqaq (pine) away in their iwan (guilt/iniquity) in your ayab (enemy)’ aratzath (lands); and also in the iwanath (iniquities) of their ab (father) shall they maqaq (pine) away with them.
40 “‘If they yadah (confess) their iwan (guilt/iniquity), and the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of their ab (father), in their mail (top/above) which they mail (top/above) against me, and also that, because they halak (move) qaray (contrary) to me,
41 I also yalak (walked) qaray (contrary) to them, and bawaa (bring) them into the aratz (Earth/land) of their ayab (enemy): if then their iral (uncircumcised) labab (heart) is kanai (humbled), and they then ratzah (accept) the punishment of their iwan (guilt/iniquity);
42 Then I will zakar (remember) my barayath (covenant) with Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch); and also my barayath (covenant) with Yatzachaq (Isaac), and also my barayath (covenant) with Abaraham (Abraham - Patriarch); and I will zakar (remember) the aratz (Earth/land).
43 The aratz (Earth/land) also will be izab (left) by them, and will ratzah (enjoy) its shabath (shabath / rest) while it shamam (lies) desolate without them: and they will ratzah (accept) the punishment of their iwan (guilt/iniquity); yain (because), even yain (because) they maas (rejected) my mashapat (ordinances), and their napash (soul) gail (abhorred) my chaqah (statutes).
44 Yet for all that, when they are in the aratz (Earth/land) of their ayab (enemy), I will not maas (reject) them, neither will I gail (abhor) them, to kalah (complete / finish) them utterly, and to parar (break) my barayath (covenant) with them; for I am Yahawah () their Alahayam ();
45 But I will for their sake zakar (remember) the barayath (covenant) of their raashanayam (ancestors), whom I yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt) in the iyan (eye) of the gawayam (nations), that I might be their Alahayam (). I am Yahawah ().’”
46 These are the chaqayam (statutes), mashapatayam (ordinances) and thawarath (laws), which Yahawah () nathan (give) between him and the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) in har (mountain) Sayanay (Sinai) by Mashah (Moses).
