Micah 4 — English–Hebrew Parallel

But in the acharayath (latter) yamayam (days), it will happen that the har (mountain) of Yahawah () bayath (house) will be kawan (established) on the raash (head) of the harayam (mountains), and it will be nashaa (lift) above the gabaiwath (hills); and imayam (peoples) will stream to it.

Many gawayam (nations) will halak (move) and amar (spoke), yalak (come), “and let us ilah (go up / offer) up to the har (mountain) of Yahawah (), and to the bayath (house) of the Alahayam () of Yaiqab (Jacob); and he will yarah (teach) us of his darak (ways), and we will yalak (walk) in his arach (paths).” For out of Tzayawan (Zion) will yatzaa (go out / come out) forth the thawarah (instruction), and the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () from Yarawashalam (Jerusalem);

And he will shapat (judge / judgement) between many imayam (peoples), and will decide concerning itzawam (strong) gawayam (heathen) rachawaq (afar) off. They will kathath (beat) their charab (sword) into athayam (plowshares), and their chanayath (spears) into mazamarah (pruning) hooks. Gaway (heathen / nation) will not nashaa (lift) up charab (sword) against gaway (heathen / nation), neither will they lamad (teach / instruct) malachamah (war) any more.

But they will yashab (inhabit/dwell) every ayash (man / husband) under his gapan (vine) and under his thaan (fig) tree; and no one will make them charad (afraid): For the pah (mouth) of Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies) has dabar (word / matter).

Indeed all the imayam (nations) may yalak (walk) in the sham (name) of their Alahayam (); but we will yalak (walk) in the sham (name) of Yahawah () our Alahayam () iwalam (forever) and id (until / as far as).

“In that yawam (day),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (), “I will asap (assemble) that which is lame, and I will qabatz (gather) that which is nadach (driven) away, and that which I have raii (wicked / dysfunctional / evil);

And I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) that which was lame a shaarayath (remnant), and that which was halaa (cast) far off a itzawam (strong) gaway (heathen / nation): and Yahawah () will malak (king) over them on har (mountain) Tzayawan (Zion) from then on, even iwalam (forever).”

You, magadal (tower) of the idar (flock), the hill of the banath (daughter) of Tzayawan (Zion), to you it will athah (you (masc)), yes, the raashawan (former) mamashalah (rule / govern) will bawaa (bring), the mamalakah (kingdom) of the banath (daughter) of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem).

Now why do you rawai (cry) out rai (aloud)? Is there no malak (king) in you? Has your yaitz (counselor) abad (destroy / perish), that chayal (pains) have chazaq (taken) hold of you as of a yalad (birth / begot) in travail?

Be in chawal (pain), and gayach (labor) to bring forth, banath (daughter) of Tzayawan (Zion), like a yalad (birth / begot) in travail; for now you will yatzaa (go out / come out) forth out of the qarayah (city / town), and will shakan (place) in the shadah (field), and will come even to Babal (Babylon). There you will be natzal (rescued). There Yahawah () will gaal (redeem) you from the kap (hand) of your ayab (enemy).

Now many gawayam (heathen) have asap (assembled) amar (said) you, that say, “Let her be chanap (defiled), and let our iyan (eye) gloat over Tzayawan (Zion).”

But they don't yadai (know) the machashabawath (thoughts) of Yahawah (), neither do they bayan (between) his itzah (counsel); for he has qabatz (gathered) them like the sheaves to the garan (threshing) floor.

Qawam (rise up) and dawash (thresh), banath (daughter) of Tzayawan (Zion); for I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) your qaran (horn) barazal (iron), and I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) your parasah (hoofs) nachawashah (brass); and you will daqaq (beat) in pieces many imayam (peoples): and I will charam (devote) their batzai (gain) to Yahawah (), and their chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) to the Adawan () of the whole aratz (Earth/land).
