1 When Balaim (Balaam) raah (see) that it iyan (eye) Yahawah () to barak (blessed) Yashar-Al (Israel), he didn't halak (move), as at the other paim (times), to qaraah (meet) with nachashayam (enchantments), but he shayath (put / appoint / make) his panayam (face) toward the madabar (wilderness).
2 Balaim (Balaam) nashaa (lift) up his iyan (eye), and he raah (see) Yashar-Al (Israel) shakan (place) according to their shabat (tribes); and the rawach (spirit / wind) of Alahayam () came on him.
3 He nashaa (lift) up his mashal (parable), and amar (said), “Balaim (Balaam) the ban (son) of Baiwar (Beor) amar (said), the gabar (man) whose iyan (eye) was closed naam (declares prophetically);
4 He naam (declares prophetically), who shamai (hearken / hear) the amaray (words) of Al, who chazah (sees) the machazah (vision) of the Shaday (), napal (fall / be cast down) down, and having his iyanayam (eyes) galah (open):
5 How tawab (good / proper function) are your ahal (tents), Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch), and your mashakan (tents), Yashar-Al (Israel)!
6 As nachalayam (valleys) they are natah (spread) forth, as ganath (gardens) by the riverside, as ahalayam (aloes) which Yahawah () has natai (planted), as araz (cedar) trees beside the mayam (Waters).
7 Mayam (Waters) shall nazal (flow) from his dalay (buckets). His zarai (seed) shall be in many mayam (Waters). His malak (king) shall be higher than Agag (Agag). His malakawath (kingdom) shall be nashaa (lift).
8 Al yatzaa (go out / come out) him out of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt). He has as it were the thawaipah (strength) of the wild ox. 9 He karai (couched), he shakab (lay) down as a aray (lion), as a labayaa (lioness); who shall qawam (rise up) him up? Everyone who blesses you is barak (blessed). Everyone who arar (curses) you is cursed.”
10 Balaq (Balak's) ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) was charah (hot with anger) against Balaim (Balaam), and he sapaq (struck) his kap (hands) together; and Balaq (Balak) amar (said) to Balaim (Balaam), “I qaraa (called) you to qabab (curse) my ayab (enemy), and, behold, you have barak (blessed) barak (blessed) them these shalawash (three) paimayam (times).
11 Therefore now barach (flee) you to your maqawam (place)! I amar (spoke) to kabad (promote) you to kabad (great) honor; but, behold, Yahawah () has manai (kept) you back from honor.”
12 Balaim (Balaam) amar (said) to Balaq (Balak), “Didn't I also dabar (word / matter) your malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who you shalach (send) to me, amar (said),
13 ‘If Balaq (Balak) nathan (give) give me his bayath (house) malaa (full) of kasap (silver) and zahab (gold), I can't ibar (pass over/through) beyond the pah (word) of Yahawah (), to ishah (make) either tawab (good / proper function) or rai (bad) of my own lab (heart). I will dabar (word / matter) what Yahawah () dabar (word / matter)’?
14 Now, behold, I halak (move) to my im (nation / people): yalak (come), I will inform you what this im (nation / people) shall ishah (make) to your im (nation / people) in the acharayath (latter) yamayam (days).”
15 He nashaa (lift) up his mashal (parable), and amar (said), “Balaim (Balaam) the ban (son) of Baiwar (Beor) amar (said), the gabar (man) whose iyan (eye) was closed naam (declares prophetically);
16 He naam (declares prophetically), who shamai (hearken / hear) the amaray (words) of Al, yadai (knows) the daith (knowledge) of the Most ilayawan (Ilayawan), and who chazah (sees) the machazah (vision) of the Shaday (), napal (fall / be cast down) down, and having his iyanayam (eyes) galah (open):
17 I raah (see / saw) him, but not now. I raah (see / saw) him, but not qarawab (near). A kawakab (star) will darak (come) out of Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch). A scepter will qawam (rise up) out of Yashar-Al (Israel), and shall machatz (crush / shatter) through the paathay (corners) of Mawaab (Moab), and qawar (break) down all the banay (my son) of Shath (Sheth).
18 Adawam (Edom) shall be a yarashah (possession). Shaiyar (Seir), his ayab (enemy), also shall be a yarashah (possession), while Yashar-Al (Israel) ishah (make) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor).
19 Out of Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch) shall one radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) dominion, and shall abad (destroy / perish) the sharayad (remnant) from the iyar (city).”
20 He raah (see / saw) at Imalaq (Amalek), and nashaa (lift) up his mashal (parable), and amar (said), “Imalaq (Amalek) was the raashayath (beginning) of the gawayam (heathen), But his acharayath (latter) id (until / as far as) shall come to destruction.”
21 He raah (see / saw) at the Qayanay (Kenite), and nashaa (lift) up his mashal (parable), and amar (said), “Your mawashab (dwelling) place is ayathan (strong). Your qan (nest) is shawam (place / establish / appoint) in the salai (rock).
22 Nevertheless Qayan (Kain) shall be bair (wasted), until Ashawar (Asshur) shabah (carries) you away captive.”
23 He nashaa (lift) up his mashal (parable), and amar (said), “away (alas), who shall chayah (live) when Al shawam (place / establish / appoint) this?
24 But tzayam (ships) shall come from the yad (hand) of Kathay (Kittim). They shall inah (answer / respond) Ashawar (Asshur), and shall inah (answer / respond) Ibar (Eber). He also shall come to destruction.”
25 Balaim (Balaam) qawam (rise up) up, and yalak (went) and shawab (turn) to his maqawam (place); and Balaq (Balak) also halak (move) his darak (way).
