You shall madad (measure) outside of the iyar (city) for the qadam (east) paah (side) two alap (thousand) amah (cubits), and for the nagab (south) paah (side) two alap (thousand) amah (cubits), and for the yam (sea/waters) paah (side) two alap (thousand) amah (cubits), and for the tzapawan (north) paah (side) two alap (thousand) amah (cubits), the iyar (city) being in the thawak (midst). This shall be to them the magarashay (suburbs) of the irayam (cities).
