1 Chakamawath (wisdom) has banah (build) her bayath (house). She has carved out her shabai (seven) imawad (pillar).
2 She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her yayan (wine). She has also irak (set) her shalachan (table).
3 She has shalach (send) out her nairah (maidens). She qaraa (called) from the highest maramay (places) of the qarath (city):
4 “Whoever is pathay (simple), let him sawar (turn) in here!” As for him who is chasar (void) of lab (heart), she amar (said) to him,
5 “Yalak (come), lacham (eat) some of my lacham (bread), shathah (drinks) some of the yayan (wine) which I have mixed!
6 Izab (leave) your pathay (simple) ways, and chayah (live). Walk in the darak (way) of bayanah (understanding).”
7 He who yasar (corrects) a lawatz (mocker) invites insult. He who yakach (reproves) a rashai (wicked) maawam (man) invites abuse.
8 Don't yakach (reprove) a lawatz (scoffer), lest he shanaa (hate) you. Yakach (reprove) a wise chakam (man), and he will ahab (love) you.
9 Instruct a chakam (wise) chakam (man), and he will be still wiser. Yadai (teach) a tzadayaq (righteous) man, and he will yasap (increase) in laqach (learning).
10 The yaraah (fear) of Yahawah () is the thachalah (beginning) of chakamah (wisdom). The daith (knowledge) of the qadawash (holy) One is bayanah (understanding).
11 For by me your yawam (day) will be rabah (multiplied). The shanawath (years) of your chay (life) will be yasap (increased).
12 If you are chakam (wise), you are chakam (wise) for yourself. If you lawatz (mock), you alone will nashaa (lift) it.
13 The kasayalawath (foolish) ayashah (woman / wife) is hamah (great uproar), Undisciplined, and yadai (knows) mah (nothing).
14 She yashab (inhabit/dwell) at the pathach (door) of her bayath (house), on a kasaa (seat) in the marawam (high) places of the qarath (city),
15 To qaraa (called) to those who ibar (pass over/through) by, who go yashar (upright) on their arach (ways),
16 “Whoever is pathay (simple), let him sawar (turn) in here.” As for him who is chasar (void) of lab (heart), she amar (said) to him,
17 “Ganab (stolen) mayam (Waters) is mathaq (sweet). Lacham (food) eaten in sathar (secret / hidden) is naim (pleasant).”
18 But he doesn't yadai (know) that the rapaa (dead) are there, that her qaraa (called) are in the imaqay (depths) of shaawal (Sheol / afterlife).
