In the shamayanay (eighth) chadash (month), in the shanayam (two) shanah (year) of Darayawash (Darius), the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to Zakarayah (Zechariah) the ban (son) of Barakayah (Berechiah), the ban (son) of Idaw (Iddo), the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), amar (spoke),
“Yahawah () was very qatzap (displeased) with your ab (father).
Therefore amar (spoke) them: Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies): ‘shawab (turn back / repent) to me,’ amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), ‘and I will shawab (turn back / repent) to you,’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies).
Don't you be like your ab (father), to whom the raashawan (former) nabayaayam (prophets) qaraa (called), amar (spoke): Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), ‘shawab (turn back / repent) now from your rai (evil) darak (ways), and from your rai (evil) mailal (doings);’ but they did not shamai (hearken / hear), nor listen to me, naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ().
Your ab (father), where are they? And the nabaayam (prophets), do they chayah (live) iwalam (eternity)?
But my dabar (word / matter) and my chaq (statute), which I tzawah (commanded) my ibad (servant) the nabayaayam (prophets), didn't they nashag (overtake) your ab (father)? “Then they repented and amar (spoke), ‘Just as Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies) determined to ishah (make) to us, according to our darak (ways), and according to our practices, so he ishah (make) dealt with us.’”
On the isharayam (twenty) - arabai (four) yawam (day) of the ishathay (eleven) chadash (month), which is the chadash (month) Shabat (Shebat), in the shanayam (two) shanah (year) of Darayawash (Darius), the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to Zakarayah (Zechariah) the ban (son) of Barakayah (Berechiah), the ban (son) of Idaw (Iddo), the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), amar (spoke),
“I raah (see / saw) a vision in the layal (night), and behold, a ayash (man / husband) rakab (riding) on a adam (red) sawas (horse), and he imad (stood) among the hadas (myrtle) trees that were in a ravine; and achar (other) him there were adam (red), brown, and laban (white) sawasayam (horses).
Then I asked, ‘My Adawan (), what are these?’” The malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who dabar (word / matter) with me amar (spoke) to me, “I will show you what these are.”
The ayash (man / husband) who imad (stood) among the hadas (myrtle) trees inah (answer / respond), “They are the ones Yahawah () has shalach (send) to halak (move) back and forth through the aratz (Earth/land).”
They reported to the malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) of Yahawah () who imad (stood) among the hadas (myrtle) trees, and amar (spoke), “We have halak (move) back and forth through the aratz (Earth/land), and behold, all the aratz (Earth/land) is at yashab (inhabit/dwell) and in shaqat (peace).”
Then the malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) of Yahawah () replied, “O Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), how long will you not have racham (show mercy / love) on Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) and on the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Judah), against which you have had zaim (indignation) these shabaiyam (seventy) shanah (years)?”
Yahawah () inah (answer / respond) the malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who dabar (word / matter) with me with kind and nachawam (comforting) dabarayam (words).
So the malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who dabar (word / matter) with me amar (spoke) to me, “qaraa (called), amar (spoke), ‘Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies): “I am qanaa (jealous) for Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) and for Tzayawan (Zion) with a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) qanaah (jealousy).
I am very qatzap (angry) with the gawayam (heathen) that are at shaanan (ease); for I was but a mait (little) qatzap (displeased), but they added to the rai (calamity).”
Therefore thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (): “I have shawab (turn back / repent) to Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) with racham (show mercy / love). My bayath (house) shall be banah (build) in it,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), “and a qawah (gather/wait) shall be natah (stretched) forth over Yarawashalam (Jerusalem).”’
“Qaraa (called) further, amar (spoke), ‘Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies): “My iyar (cities) will again overflow with tawab (good / proper function), and Yahawah () will again nacham (turn away / repent) Tzayawan (Zion), and will again bachar (choose) Yarawashalam (Jerusalem).”’”
I nashaa (lift) up my iyan (eye), and raah (see / saw), and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
Then I asked, "Where are you going?" He amar (said) to me, "To measure Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), to see mah (what) is its breadth and what is its length.
Behold, the angel who talked with me went forth, and raah (see / saw) angel went out to raah (see / saw) him,
And amar (spoke) to him, "bawaa (come), amar (spoke) to alah (these) young man, amar (spoke), ‘Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of ishah (make) and livestock in it.
