2 Someone nagad (told) Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch), and amar (said), “Behold, your ban (son) Yawasap (Joseph) bawaa (bring) to you,” and Yashar-Al (Israel) chazaq (strengthened) himself, and yashab (inhabit/dwell) on the matah (bed).
3 Yaiqab (Jacob) amar (spoke) to Yawasap (Joseph), “Al Shaday () raah (see) to me at Lawaz (Luz) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), and barak (blessed) me,
4 And amar (said) to me, ‘Behold, I will parah (bear fruit / increase) you fruitful, and rabah (multiply) you, and I will nathan (give) of you a qahal (company) of imayam (peoples), and will nathan (give) this aratz (Earth/land) to your zarai (seed) achar (other) you for an iwalam (eternity) achazah (possession).’
5 Now your shanayam (two) ban (son), who were yalad (birth / begot) to you in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) id (until / as far as) I bawaa (bring) to you into Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), are mine; Aparayam (Ephraim) and Manashah (Manasseh), even as Raawaban (Reuben) and Shamaiwan (Simeon), will be mine.
6 Your mawaladath (kindred / native land), whom you become the yalad (birth / begot) of achar (other) them, will be yours. They will be qaraa (called) il (over) the sham (name) of their ach (brother/kinsman) in their nachalah (inheritance).

12 Yawasap (Joseph) yatzaa (go out / come out) them out from im (nation / people) his barak (blessed), and he shachah (bowed) himself with his ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) to the aratz (Earth/land).
13 Yawasap (Joseph) laqach (take / seize) them shanayam (two), Aparayam (Ephraim) in his right yamayan (right hand) toward Yashar-Al (Israel's) left shamaawal (left hand), and Manashah (Manasseh) in his left shamaawal (left hand) toward Yashar-Al (Israel's) right yamayan (right hand), and nagash (brought) them near to him.
14 Yashar-Al (Israel) shalach (send) out his right yamayan (right hand), and shayath (put / appoint / make) it on Aparayam (Ephraim's) raash (head), who was the younger, and his left shamaawal (left hand) on Manashah (Manasseh's) raash (head), shakal (guiding) his yad (hand) knowingly, for Manashah (Manasseh) was the bakawar (firstborn).
15 He barak (blessed) Yawasap (Joseph), and amar (spoke), “The Alahayam () panayam (face) whom my ab (father) Abaraham (Abraham) and Yatzachaq (Isaac) halak (move), the Alahayam () who has raih (fed) me all my iwad (more/again) long to this yawam (day),
16 The malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who has gaal (redeemed) me from all rai (evil), barak (blessed) the nairayam (lads), and let my sham (name) be qaraa (called) on them, and the sham (name) of my ab (father) Abaraham (Abraham - Patriarch) and Yatzachaq (Isaac). Let them dagah (grow) into a rab (multitude) in the qarab (among / near) of the aratz (Earth/land).”
17 When Yawasap (Joseph) raah (see / saw) that his ab (father) shayath (put / appoint / make) his yamayan (right hand) yad (hand) on the raash (head) of Aparayam (Ephraim), it displeased him. He thamak (held) up his ab (father) yad (hand), to sawar (remove) it from Aparayam (Ephraim's) raash (head) to Manashah (Manasseh's) raash (head).
18 Yawasap (Joseph) amar (said) to his ab (father), “Not so, my ab (father); for this is the bakawar (firstborn); shawam (place / establish / appoint) your right yamayan (right hand) on his raash (head).”
19 His ab (father) maan (refused), and amar (said), “I yadai (know), my ban (son), I yadai (know). He also will become a im (nation / people), and he also will be gadal (great). However, his younger ach (brother/kinsman) will be greater than he, and his zarai (seed) will become a malaa (multitude) of gawayam (heathen).”
20 He barak (blessed) them that yawam (day), amar (spoke), “In you will Yashar-Al (Israel) barak (blessed), amar (spoke), ‘Alahayam () shawam (place / establish / appoint) you as Aparayam (Ephraim) and as Manashah (Manasseh)’” He shawam (place / establish / appoint) Aparayam (Ephraim) panayam (face) Manashah (Manasseh).
21 Yashar-Al (Israel) amar (spoke) to Yawasap (Joseph), “Behold, I am dying, but Alahayam () will be with you, and shawab (turn back / repent) you again to the aratz (Earth/land) of your ab (father).
22 Moreover I nathan (give) given to you achad (one) shakam (portion) above your ach (brother/kinsman), which I laqach (take / seize) out of the yad (hand) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite) with my charab (sword) and with my qashath (bow).”
