1 Alahayam () barak (blessed) Nach (Noah) and his ban (son), and amar (spoke) to them, “Be parah (fruitful), and rabah (multiply), and malaa (replenish) the aratz (Earth/land).
2 The mawaraa (fear) of you and the chath (dread) of you will be on every animal of the aratz (Earth/land), and on every iwap (flying) of the sky. Everything that the adamah (ground) teems with, and all the dag (fish) of the yam (sea/waters) are nathan (give) into your yad (hand).
3 Every moving thing that chay (life) will be akalah (food) for you. As the yaraq (green) ishab (herb), I nathan (give) given everything to you.
4 But bashar (flesh) with its napash (soul), its dam (blood), you shall not akal (eat).
5 I will ak (surely) darash (require) your dam (blood) of your lives. At the yad (hand) of every animal I will darash (require) it. At the yad (hand) of adam (man), even at the yad (hand) of every adam (man's) ach (brother/kinsman), I will darash (require) the napash (soul) of adam (man).
6 Whoever shapak (sheds) adam (man's) dam (blood), his dam (blood) will be shapak (shed) by adam (man), for Alahayam () ishah (make) adam (man) in his own tzalam (likeness).
7 Be parah (bear fruit / increase) and rabah (multiply). Sharatz (swarm as many) abundantly in the aratz (Earth/land), and rabah (multiply) in it.”
8 Alahayam () amar (spoke) to Nach (Noah) and to his ban (son) with him, amar (spoke),
9 “As for me, behold, I qawam (rise up) my barayath (covenant) with you, and with your zarai (offspring) achar (other) you,
10 And with every chay (life) napash (soul) that is with you: the iwap (flying), the livestock, and every animal of the aratz (Earth/land) with you, of all that yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the ship, even every animal of the aratz (Earth/land).
11 I will qawam (rise up) my barayath (covenant) with you: all bashar (flesh) will not be karath (cut) off any more by the may (waters) of the mabawal (flood), neither will there ever again be a mabawal (flood) to shachath (destroy) the aratz (Earth/land).”
12 Alahayam () amar (spoke), “This is the awath (sign / mark / miracle) of the barayath (covenant) which I nathan (give) between me and you and every chay (life) napash (soul) that is with you, for iwalam (forever) darath (generations):
13 I nathan (give) my rainbow in the inan (cloud), and it will be for a awath (sign / mark / miracle) of a barayath (covenant) between me and the aratz (Earth/land).
14 It will happen, when I inan (cloud) a inan (cloud) over the aratz (Earth/land), that the rainbow will be raah (see / saw) in the inan (cloud),
15 And I will zakar (remember) my barayath (covenant), which is between me and you and every chay (life) napash (soul) of all bashar (flesh), and the mayam (Waters) will no more become a mabawal (flood) to shachath (destroy) all bashar (flesh).
16 The rainbow will be in the inan (cloud). I will raah (see) at it, that I may zakar (remember) the iwalam (forever) barayath (covenant) bayan (between) Alahayam () and every chay (life) napash (soul) of all bashar (flesh) that is on the aratz (Earth/land).”
17 Alahayam () amar (spoke) to Nach (Noah), “This is the awath (sign / mark / miracle) of the barayath (covenant) which I have qawam (rise up) between me and all bashar (flesh) that is on the aratz (Earth/land).”
18 The banay (my son) of Nach (Nach / Noah) who yatzaa (go out / come out) out from the ship were Sham (name), Cham (Ham), and Yapath (Japheth). Cham (Ham) is the ab (father) of Kanain (Canaan).
19 These shalawash (three) were the banay (my son) of Noah, and from these, the whole aratz (Earth/land) was populated.
20 Nach (Nach / Noah) chalal (began) to be a farmer, and natai (planted) a karam (vineyard).
21 He shathah (drinks) of the yayan (wine) and got shakar (drunk). He was galah (uncovered) thawak (midst) his ahal (tent).
22 Cham (Ham), the ab (father) of Kanain (Canaan), raah (see / saw) the irawah (nakedness) of his ab (father), and nagad (told) his shanayam (two) ach (brother/kinsman) outside.
23 Sham (name) and Yapath (Japheth) laqach (take / seize) a shamalah (garment), and shawam (place / establish / appoint) it on shanayam (two) their shakam (shoulders), yalak (went) in backwards, and kasah (covered) the irawah (nakedness) of their ab (father). 24 Nach (Nach / Noah) awoke from his yayan (wine), and yadai (knew) what his youngest ban (son) ishah (make) done to him.
25 He amar (said), “Kanain (Canaan) is arar (cursed). He will be ibad (servant) of ibadayam (servants) to his ach (brother/kinsman).”
26 And he amar (said), "Barak (Blessed) be Yahawah (), the Alahay (Mighty One) of Sham (); It will hayah (come to pass) that Kanain () will be for your ibad (servant).
27 May Alahayam () pathah (enlarge) Yapath (Japheth). Let him shakan (place) in the ahalay (tents) of Sham (Shem). Let Kanain (Canaan) be his ibad (servant).”
28 Nach (Nach / Noah) chayah (lived) shalawash (three) maah (hundred) chamashayam (fifty) shanah (years) achar (other) the mabawal (flood).
29 All the yamay (days) of Nach (Nach / Noah) were thashai (nine) maah (hundred) chamashayam (fifty) shanah (years), then he mawath (death).
