It happened achar (other) this, that Abayashalawam (Absalom) ishah (make) him a marakabah (chariot) and sasayam (horses), and chamashayam (fifty) ayash (man / husband) to rawatz (run) panayam (face) him.
Abayashalawam (Absalom) shakam (rose) up early, and imad (stood) yad (hand) the darak (way) of the shair (gate). It was so, that when any ayash (man / husband) had a rayab (suit) which should bawaa (bring) to the malak (king) for mashapat (judgment), then Abayashalawam (Absalom) qaraa (called) to him, and amar (said), “ay (what) iyar (city) are you from?” He amar (said), “Your ibad (servant) is of achad (one) of the shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel).”
Abayashalawam (Absalom) amar (said) to him, “raah (see / saw), your dabar (word / matter) are tawab (good / proper function) and nakach (right); but there is no man deputized by the malak (king) to shamai (hearken / hear) you.”
Abayashalawam (Absalom) amar (said) moreover, “Oh that I were shawam (place / establish / appoint) shapat (judge / judgement) in the aratz (Earth/land), that every ayash (man / husband) who has any rayab (suit) or cause might bawaa (bring) to me, and I would tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) him justice!”
It was so, that when any ayash (man / husband) qarab (come close) near to shachah (do) him obeisance, he shalach (send) forth his yad (hand), and chazaq (took) hold of him, and nashaq (kissed) him.
Abayashalawam (Absalom) ishah (make) this sort of thing to all Yashar-Al (Israel) who bawaa (bring) to the malak (king) for mashapat (judgment). So Abayashalawam (Absalom) ganab (stole) the lab (heart) of the ishah (make) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
It happened at the qatz (end) of arabaiyam (forty) shanah (years), that Abayashalawam (Absalom) amar (spoke) to the malak (king), “Please yalak (let) me go and shalam (pay) my nadar (vow), which I have nadar (make vow) to Yahawah (), in Chabarawan (Hebron).
For your ibad (servant) nadar (make vow) a nadar (vow) while I stayed at Gashawar (Geshur) in Aram (Syria), amar (spoke), ‘If Yahawah () shall indeed shawab (turn back / repent) me again to Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), then I will ibad (servant) Yahawah ().’”
The malak (king) amar (said) to him, “yalak (go) in shalawam (peace / safety).” So he qawam (rise up), and yalak (went) to Chabarawan (Hebron).
But Abayashalawam (Absalom) shalach (send) maragalayam (spies) throughout all the shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel), amar (said), “As soon as you shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of the shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn), then you shall amar (said), ‘Abayashalawam (Absalom) is malak (king) in Chabarawan (Hebron)!’”
Two maah (hundred) ayash (man / husband) halak (move) with Abayashalawam (Absalom) out of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), who were qaraa (called), and halak (move) in their tham (simplicity); and they didn't yadai (know) anything.
Abayashalawam (Absalom) shalach (send) for Achayathapal (Ahithophel) the gayalanay (gilonite), Dawad (David's) yaitz (counselor), from his iyar (city), even from Galah (Giloh), while he was zabach (offering) the zabachayam (sacrifices). The qashar (conspiracy) was amayatz (strong); for the im (nation / people) rab (increased) halak (move) with Abayashalawam (Absalom).
A nagad (messenger) bawaa (bring) to Dawad (David), amar (said), “The lab (heart) of the ayash (man / husband) of Yashar-Al (Israel) are achar (other) Abayashalawam (Absalom).”
Dawad (David) amar (said) to all his ibad (servant) who were with him at Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), “qawam (rise up), and let us barach (flee); for else none of us shall palayatah (escape) from Abayashalawam (Absalom). Mahar (make) speed to depart, lest he nashag (overtake) us mahar (quickly), and nadach (bring) down rai (evil) on us, and nakah (strike) the iyar (city) with the pah (edge) of the charab (sword).”
The malak (king) ibaday (servants) amar (spoke) to the malak (king), “Behold, your ibaday (servants) are ready to do whatever my Adawan () the malak (king) bachar (chooses).”
The malak (king) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth, and all his bayath (house) ragal (feet / foot) him. The malak (king) izab (left) ishar (ten) nashayam (women), who were palagashayam (concubines), to shamar (keep/guard) the bayath (house).
The malak (king) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth, and all the im (nation / people) ragal (feet / foot) him; and they imad (stayed) in Bayath (Beth) Merhak.
All his ibad (servant) ibar (pass over/through) on yad (hand) him; and all the Karathay (Cherethites), and all the Palathay (Pelethites), and all the Gathay (Gittites), shash (six) maah (hundred) ayash (man / husband) who bawaa (bring) ragal (feet / foot) him from gath (gath), ibar (pass over/through) on panayam (face) the malak (king).
Then the malak (king) amar (said) to Athay (Ittai) the Gathay (Gittite), “Why do you also yalak (go) with us? Shawab (turn), and stay with the malak (king); for you are a nakaray (foreigner), and also an galah (exile). Return to your own maqawam (place).
Whereas you bawaa (bring) but thamawal (yesterday), should I this yawam (day) yalak (make) you go up and down with us, since I halak (move) where I may? Shawab (turn), and shawab (turn) back your ach (brother/kinsman). Chasad (grace) and amath (truth) be with you.”
Athay (Ittai) inah (answer / respond) the malak (king), and inah (answer / respond), “As Yahawah () chayayam (lives), and as my Adawan () the malak (king) chayayam (lives), surely in what maqawam (place) my Adawan () the malak (king) shall is, whether for mawath (death) or for chay (life), even there also will your ibad (servant) be.”
Dawad (David) amar (said) to Athay (Ittai), “yalak (go) and ibar (pass over/through) over.” Athay (Ittai) the Gathay (Gittite) ibar (pass over/through) over, and all his ibar (pass over/through), and all the little tap (ones) who were with him.
All the aratz (Earth/land) bakah (wept) with a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) qawal (sound / voice), and all the im (nation / people) ibar (pass over/through) over: the malak (king) also himself ibar (pass over/through) over the nachal (stream / river) Qadarawan (Kidron), and all the im (nation / people) ibar (pass over/through) over, panayam (face) the darak (way) of the madabar (wilderness).
Behold, Tzadawaq (Zadok) also came, and all the Lawayay (Levites) with him, nashaa (lift) the arawan (ark) of the barayath (covenant) of Alahayam (); and they yatzaq (set) down the arawan (ark) of Alahayam (); and Abayathar (Abiathar) ilah (go up / offer) up, until all the im (nation / people) finished ibar (pass over/through) out of the iyar (city).
The malak (king) amar (spoke) to Tzadawaq (Zadok), “shawab (turn back / repent) back the arawan (ark) of Alahayam () into the iyar (city). If I matzaa (find) favor in the iyanay (eyes) of Yahawah (), he will shawab (turn back / repent) me again, and show me both it, and his nawah (habitation);
But if he amar (said) thus, ‘I chapatz (have) no delight in you;’ behold, here am I. Let him ishah (make) to me as seems tawab (good / proper function) to him.”
The malak (king) amar (said) also to Tzadawaq (Zadok) the kahan (priest), “Aren't you a seer? Shawab (turn) into the iyar (city) in shalawam (peace / safety), and your shanayam (two) ban (son) with you, Achayamaitz (Ahimaaz) your ban (son), and Yahawanathan (Jonathan) the ban (son) of Abayathar (Abiathar).
Raah (see / saw), I will mahah (stay) at the fords of the madabar (wilderness), until dabar (word / matter) bawaa (bring) from you to inform me.”
Tzadawaq (Zadok) therefore and Abayathar (Abiathar) shawab (turn back / repent) the arawan (ark) of Alahayam () again to Yarawashalam (Jerusalem); and they stayed there.
Dawad (David) ilah (go up / offer) up by the ascent of the Mount of zayathayam (olive trees), and bakah (wept) as he ilah (go up / offer) up; and he had his raash (head) chapah (covered), and halak (move) yachap (barefoot): and all the im (nation / people) who were with him chapah (covered) every ayash (man / husband) his raash (head), and they ilah (go up / offer) up, bakah (weeping) as they ilah (go up / offer) up.
Someone nagad (told) Dawad (David), amar (spoke), “Achayathapal (Ahithophel) is among the conspirators with Abayashalawam (Absalom).” Dawad (David) amar (spoke), “Yahawah (), please turn the itzah (counsel) of Achayathapal (Ahithophel) into foolishness.”
It happened that when Dawad (David) bawaa (come) come to the raash (head), where Alahayam () was shachah (worshiped), behold, Chawashay (Hushai) the arakay (archite) came to qaraah (meet) him with his kathanath (coat) qarai (torn), and adamah (earth) on his raash (head).
Dawad (David) amar (said) to him, “If you ibar (pass over/through) on with me, then you will be a mashaa (burden) to me;
But if you shawab (turn) to the iyar (city), and amar (said) Abayashalawam (Absalom), ‘I will be your ibad (servant), O malak (king). As I have been your ab (father) ibad (servant) in az (time) past, so will I now be your ibad (servant); then will you parar (defeat) for me the itzah (counsel) of Achayathapal (Ahithophel).’
Don't you have Tzadawaq (Zadok) and Abayathar (Abiathar) the kahanayam (priests) there with you? Therefore it shall be, that whatever thing you shall shamai (hearken / hear) out of the malak (king) bayath (house), you shall nagad (tell) it to Tzadawaq (Zadok) and Abayathar (Abiathar) the kahanayam (priests).
Behold, they have there with them their shanayam (two) ban (son), Achayamaitz (Ahimaaz), Tzadawaq (Zadok's) son, and Yahawanathan (Jonathan), Abayathar (Abiathar's) yad (hand); and by them you shall shalach (send) to me everything that you shall shamai (hearken / hear).”
So Chawashay (Hushai), Dawad (David's) raih (friend), bawaa (bring) into the iyar (city); and Abayashalawam (Absalom) bawaa (bring) into Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem).
