Yaashayah (Josiah) was shamanah (eight) shanah (years) ban (son) when he began to malak (king); and he malak (king) shalawashayam (thirty) - achad (one) shanah (years) in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem): and his am (mother) sham (name) was Yadayadah (Jedidah) the banath (daughter) of Idayah (Adaiah) of Batzaqath (Bozkath).
He ishah (make) that which was yashar (upright) in the iyanay (eyes) of Yahawah (), and yalak (walked) in all the darak (way) of Dawad (David) his ab (father), and didn't sawar (turn) aside to the right yamayan (right hand) or to the shamaawal (left hand).
It happened in the eighteenth shanah (year) of malak (king) Yaashayah (Josiah), that the malak (king) shalach (send) Shapan (Shaphan), the ban (son) of Atzalayahaw (Azaliah) the ban (son) of Mashalam (Meshullam), the sapar (book), to the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), amar (spoke),
“Ilah (go up / offer) up to Chalaqayah (Hilkiah) the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) kahan (priest), that he may thamam (sum) the kasap (money) which is bawaa (come) into the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), which the keepers of the sap (threshold) have asap (gathered) of the im (nation / people).
Nathan (give) them deliver it into the yad (hand) of the workmen who paqad (visit) the oversight of the bayath (house) of Yahawah (); and nathan (give) them give it to the workmen who are in the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), to chazaq (repair) the breaches of the bayath (house),
To the charashayam (carpenters), and to the banayam (builders), and to the gadarayam (masons), and for qanah (buying) itz (timber) and cut aban (stone) to chazaq (repair) the bayath (house).
However there was no chashab (accounting) made with them of the kasap (money) that was nathan (give) into their yad (hand); for they dealt faithfully.”
Chalaqayah (Hilkiah) the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) kahan (priest) amar (spoke) to Shapan (Shaphan) the sapar (book), “I matzaa (have) found the sapar (book / scribed document) of the thawarah (instruction) in the bayath (house).” of Yahawah (). Chalaqayah (Hilkiah) nathan (give) the sapar (book / scribed document) to Shapan (Shaphan), and he qaraa (called) it.
Shapan (Shaphan) the sapar (book) bawaa (come) to the malak (king), and shawab (turn back / repent) the malak (king) dabar (word / matter) again, and amar (spoke), “Your ibad (servant) have emptied out the kasap (money) that was matzaa (found) in the bayath (house), and nathan (give) delivered it into the yad (hand) of the workmen who paqad (visit) the oversight of the bayath (house) of Yahawah ().”
Shapan (Shaphan) the sapar (book) nagad (told) the malak (king), amar (said), “Chalaqayah (Hilkiah) the kahan (priest) nathan (give) delivered a sapar (book / scribed document) to me.” Shapan (Shaphan) qaraa (called) it panayam (face) the malak (king).
It happened, when the malak (king) had shamai (hearken / hear) the dabaray (words) of the sapar (book / scribed document) of the thawarah (Torah / Instruction), that he qarai (tore) his clothes.
The malak (king) tzawah (commanded) Chalaqayah (Hilkiah) the kahan (priest), and Achayaqam (Ahikam) the ban (son) of Shapan (Shaphan), and Ikabawar (Achbor) the ban (son) of Mayakayah (Micaiah), and Shapan (Shaphan) the sapar (book), and Ishayah (Asaiah) the malak (king) ibad (servant), amar (said),
“Yalak (go) darash (inquire) of Yahawah () for me, and for the im (nation / people), and for all Yahawadah (Judah), concerning the dabaray (words) of this sapar (book / scribed document) that is matzaa (found); for gadawal (very great/important/mighty) is the chamah (wrath) of Yahawah () that is yatzath (kindled) against us, because our ab (father) have not shamai (hearken / hear) to the dabaray (words) of this sapar (book / scribed document), to ishah (make) according to all that which is kathab (write) concerning us.”
So Chalaqayah (Hilkiah) the kahan (priest), and Achayaqam (Ahikam), and Ikabawar (Achbor), and Shapan (Shaphan), and Ishayah (Asaiah), yalak (went) to Chaladah (Huldah) the nabayaah (prophetess), the ayashah (woman / wife) of Shalawam (peace / safety) the ban (son) of Thaqawah (Tikvah), the ban (son) of Charachas (Harhas), keeper of the bagad (wardrobe) (now she lived in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) in the mashanah (second) quarter); and they dabar (word / matter) with her.
She amar (spoke) to them, “Thus amaraw (says) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel): ‘amar (spoke) the ayash (man / husband) who shalach (send) you to me,
“Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), ‘Behold, I will bawaa (come) rai (evil) on this maqawam (place), and on its yashab (inhabit/dwell), even all the dabaray (words) of the sapar (book / scribed document) which the malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah) has qaraa (called).
Because they have forsaken me, and have qatar (burned) incense to other Alahayam (), that they might provoke me to kais (anger) with all the maishah (work) of their yad (hand), therefore my chamah (wrath) shall be yatzath (kindled) against this maqawam (place), and it shall not be kabah (quenched).’”
But to the malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah), who shalach (send) you to darash (inquire) of Yahawah (), thus you shall amar (spoke) him, “Thus thaamaraw (says) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel): ‘Concerning the dabarayam (words) which you have shamai (hearken / hear),
Because your labab (heart) was rakak (tender), and you kanai (humbled) yourself panayam (face) Yahawah (), when you shamai (hearken / hear) what I dabar (word / matter) against this maqawam (place), and against its yashab (inhabit/dwell), that they should become a shamah (desolation) and a qalalah (curse), and have qarai (torn) your clothes, and bakah (wept) panayam (face) me; I also have shamai (hearken / hear) you,’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ().
‘Therefore, behold, I will asap (gather) you to your ab (father), and you shall be asap (gathered) to your qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) in shalawam (peace / safety), neither shall your iyan (eye) raah (see / saw) all the rai (evil) which I will bawaa (bring) on this maqawam (place).’”’” They shawab (turn) shawab (turn) this dabar (word / matter) to the malak (king).
