1 Chronicles 16 — English–Hebrew Parallel

1 They bawaa (come) in the arawan (ark) of Alahayam (), and yatzag (set) it in the thawak (midst) of the ahal (tent) that Dawad (David) had natah (pitched) for it: and they qarab (come close) burnt ilawath (offerings) and shalam (peace) offerings panayam (face) Alahayam ().

7 Then on that yawam (day) Dawad (David) raash (head) nathan (give) to give yadah (thanks) to Yahawah (), by the yad (hand) of Asap (Asaph) and his ach (brother/kinsman).

8 Oh give hawadaw (thanks) to Yahawah (). Qaraa (called) on his sham (name). Make his ilayalah (doings) yadai (known) among the imayam (peoples).

11 Darash (seek) Yahawah () and his iz (strength / might / refuge). Baqash (seek) his panayam (face) thamayad (forever) more.

12 Zakar (remember) his palaa (be wonderful / extraordinary / marvelous) ishah (make) that he has done, his mawapath (wonders), and the mashapatay (judgments) of his pah (mouth),

13 You zarai (seed) of Yashar-Al (Israel) his ibad (servant), you banay (my son) of Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch), his bachayar (chosen) ones.

14 He is Yahawah () our Alahayam (). His mashapat (judgments) are in all the aratz (Earth/land).

27 Honor and hawad (majesty) are panayam (face) him. Iz (strength / might / refuge) and chadawah (gladness) are in his maqawam (place).

28 Yahab (ascribe) to Yahawah (), you relatives of the imayam (peoples), yahab (ascribe) to Yahawah () kabawad (glory) and iz (strength / might / refuge)!

29 Yahab (ascribe) to Yahawah () the kabawad (glory) due to his sham (name). Nashaa (lift) an manachah (offering), and bawaa (come) panayam (face) him. Shachah (worship) Yahawah () in qadash (set apart / make holy) array.

30 Chawal (tremble) panayam (face) him, all the aratz (Earth/land). The thabal (world) also is kawan (established) that it can't be mawat (moved).

31 Let the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens) be shamach (glad), and let the aratz (Earth/land) gayal (rejoice)! Let them amar (spoke) among the gawayam (nations), “Yahawah () malak (king)!”

32 Let the yam (sea/waters) raim (roar), and its fullness! Let the shadah (field) exult, and all that is therein!

33 Then the itzay (trees) of the yair (forest) will ranan (sing) for joy panayam (face) Yahawah (), for he bawaa (come) to shapat (judge / judgement) the aratz (Earth/land).

34 Oh give hawadaw (thanks) to Yahawah (), for he is tawab (good / proper function), for his loving chasad (grace) endures iwalam (forever).

35 Amar (spoke), “yashai (salvation) us, Alahayam () of our yashai (salvation)! Qabatz (gather) us together and natzal (deliver) us from the gawayam (nations), to give yadah (thanks) to your qadash (set apart / make holy) sham (name), to shabach (triumph) in your thahalah (praise).”

36 Barak (blessed) be Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), from iwalam (forever) even to iwalam (forever). All the im (nation / people) amar (spoke), “aman (believe / have faith),” and halal (praise) Yahawah ().

37 So he izab (left) there, panayam (face) the arawan (ark) of the barayath (covenant) of Yahawah (), Asap (Asaph) and his ach (brother/kinsman), to sharath (minister) panayam (face) the arawan (ark) continually, as every yawam (day) dabar (word / matter) yawam (day);

38 And Ibadaadawam (Obed-Edom) with their ach (brother/kinsman), shashayam (sixty) - shamanah (eight); Ibadaadawam (Obed-Edom) also the ban (son) of Yadawathawan (Jeduthun) and Chasah (Hosah) to be shairayam (doorkeepers);

39 And Tzadawaq (Zadok) the kahan (priest), and his ach (brother/kinsman) the kahanayam (priests), panayam (face) the mashakan (tabernacle) of Yahawah () in the bamah (high) place that was at Gabaiwan (Gibeon),

40 To ilah (go up / offer) burnt ilawath (offerings) to Yahawah () on the mazabach (altar) of burnt ilah (offering) continually baqar (morning) and irab (evening), even according to all that is kathab (write) in the thawarah (instruction) of Yahawah (), which he tzawah (commanded) to Yashar-Al (Israel);

41 And with them Hayaman (Heman) and Yadawathawan (Jeduthun), and the shaar (rest) who were barar (chosen), who were mentioned by sham (name), to give yadah (thanks) to Yahawah (), because his loving chasad (grace) endures iwalam (forever);

42 And with them Hayaman (Heman) and Yadawathawan (Jeduthun) with chatzatzarawath (trumpets) and matzalathayam (cymbals) for those that should shamai (hearken / hear) aloud, and with kalay (instruments) for the shayar (song) of Alahayam (); and the banay (sons) of Yadawathawan (Jeduthun) to be at the shair (gate).

43 All the im (nation / people) departed every ayash (man / husband) to his bayath (house): and Dawad (David) sabab (returned) to barak (blessed) his bayath (house).
