Chronicles 29 — English–Hebrew Parallel

Dawad (David) the malak (king) amar (spoke) to all the qahal (assembly), “Shalamah (Solomon) my ban (son), whom achad (one) Alahayam () has bachar (chosen), is yet nair (young) and rak (tender), and the malaakah (work) is gadawal (very great/important/mighty); for the bayarah (palace) is not for adam (man), but for Yahawah () Alahayam ().

Now I have kawan (prepared) with all my kach (strength / mighty / power) for the bayath (house) of my Alahayam () the zahab (gold) for the things of zahab (gold), and the kasap (silver) for the things of kasap (silver), and the nachashath (brass) for the things of nachashath (brass), the barazal (iron) for the things of barazal (iron), and itz (wood) for the things of itz (wood); shaham (Onyx) abanay (stones), and abanay (stones) to be malaa (set), abanay (stones) for inlaid raqamah (work), and of various colors, and all kinds of yaqar (precious) abanay (stones), and marble abanay (stones) in rab (abundance).

In addition, because I ratzah (have) set my affection on the bayath (house) of my Alahayam (), since I yash (have) a treasure of my own of zahab (gold) and kasap (silver), I nathan (give) it to the bayath (house) of my Alahayam (), over and mail (top/above) all that I have kawan (prepared) for the qadash (set apart / make holy) bayath (house),

Even shalawash (three) alap (thousand) kakaray (talents) of zahab (gold), of the zahab (gold) of Awapayar (Ophir), and shabai (seven) alap (thousand) kakaray (talents) of zaqaq (refined) kasap (silver), with which to tawach (overlay) the qayarawath (walls) of the bathayam (houses);

Of zahab (gold) for the things of zahab (gold), and of kasap (silver) for the things of kasap (silver), and for all kinds of malaakah (work) to be made by the yad (hand) of artisans. Who then nadab (offers) willingly to malaa (consecrate) yad (hand) this yawam (day) to Yahawah ()?”

Then the sharay (princes) of the abawath (fathers)’ households, and the sharay (princes) of the shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel), and the sharay (captains) of alapayam (thousands) and of maawath (hundreds), with the sharay (rulers) over the malak (king) malaakah (work), nadab (offered) willingly;

And they nathan (give) for the ibadah (service) of the bayath (house) of Alahayam () of zahab (gold) chamash (five) alap (thousand) kakarayam (talents) and ishar (ten) alap (thousand) darics, and of kasap (silver) ishar (ten) alap (thousand) kakarayam (talents), and of nachashath (brass) eighteen alap (thousand) kakarayam (talents), and of barazal (iron) a maah (hundred) alap (thousand) kakarayam (talents).

They with whom precious abanayam (stones) were matzaa (found) nathan (give) them to the awatzar (treasure) of the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), under the yad (hand) of Yachayaal (Jehiel) the garashanay (gershonite).

Then the im (nation / people) shamach (rejoiced), because they nadab (offered) willingly, because with a shalam (full / whole / complete) lab (heart) they nadab (offered) willingly to Yahawah (): and Dawad (David) the malak (king) also shamach (rejoiced) with gadawal (very great/important/mighty) shamachah (joy).

Therefore Dawad (David) barak (blessed) Yahawah () iyan (eye) all the qahal (assembly); and Dawad (David) amar (spoke), “You are barak (blessed), Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel) our ab (father), iwalam (forever) and iwalam (forever).

Yours, Yahawah (), is the gadawalah (greatness), the gabawarah (power), the glory, the natzach (victory), and the hawad (majesty)! For all that is in the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens) and in the aratz (Earth/land) is yours. Yours is the mamalakah (kingdom), Yahawah (), and you are mathanashaa (exalted) as raash (head) above all.

Both riches and honor come from you, and you mashal (rule/have dominion) over all; and in your yad (hand) is kach (strength / mighty / power) and gabawarah (might); and it is in your yad (hand) to gadal (make) great, and to give chazaq (strength) to all.

Now therefore, our Alahayam (), we yadah (thank) you, and halal (praise) your thapaarah (glorious) sham (name).

But who am I, and what is my im (nation / people), that we should be kach (strength / mighty / power) to nadab (offer) so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and of your yad (hand) nathan (give) we given you.

For we are garayam (strangers) panayam (face) you, and thawashabayam (foreigners), as all our ab (father) were. Our yawam (day) on the aratz (Earth/land) are as a tzal (shadow), and there is no remaining.

Yahawah () our Alahayam (), all this hamawan (store) that we have kawan (prepared) to banah (build) you a bayath (house) for your qadash (set apart / make holy) sham (name) comes from your yad (hand), and is all your own.

I yadai (know) also, my Alahayam (), that you bachan (try) the labab (heart), and ratzah (have) pleasure in yashar (upright). As for me, in the uprightness of my labab (heart) I have nadab (willingly) offered all these things. Now raah (see) I seen with shamachah (joy) your im (nation / people), that are matzaa (present) here, nadab (offer) willingly to you.

Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Abaraham (Abraham), of Yatzachaq (Isaac), and of Yashar-Al (Israel), our ab (father), shamar (keep/guard) this iwalam (forever) in the yatzar (imagination) of the machashabawath (thoughts) of the labab (heart) of your im (nation / people), and kawan (prepare) their labab (heart) for you;

And nathan (give) to Shalamah (Solomon - Patriarch) my ban (son) a shalam (full / whole / complete) labab (heart), to shamar (keep/guard) your matzawah (commandments), your idawath (testimonies), and your idawath (statutes), and to ishah (make) all these things, and to banah (build) the bayarah (palace), for which I have kawan (made) provision.”

Dawad (David) amar (spoke) to all the qahal (assembly), “Now barak (blessed) Yahawah () your Alahayam ()!” All the qahal (assembly) barak (blessed) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of their ab (father), and bowed down their yaqadaw (heads) and prostrated themselves before Yahawah () and the malak (king).

They zabach (sacrificed) zabachayam (sacrifices) to Yahawah (), and ilah (go up / offer) burnt ilawath (offerings) to Yahawah (), on the next macharath (day) after that macharath (day), even one alap (thousand) parayam (bulls), one alap (thousand) ayalayam (rams), and one alap (thousand) kabashayam (lambs), with their drink nasak (offerings), and zabachayam (sacrifices) in rab (abundance) for all Yashar-Al (Israel),

And akal (eat) and shathah (drinks) panayam (face) Yahawah () on that yawam (day) with gadawal (very great/important/mighty) shamachah (gladness). They made Shalamah (Solomon) the ban (son) of Dawad (David) malak (king) the shanay (second) time, and mashach (anointed) him to Yahawah () to be nagayad (prince), and Tzadawaq (Zadok) to be kahan (priest).

Then Shalamah (Solomon) yashab (inhabit/dwell) on the kasaa (throne) of Yahawah () as malak (king) instead of Dawad (David) his ab (father), and tzalach (prospered); and all Yashar-Al (Israel) shamai (hearken / hear) him.

All the sharayam (princes), the gabawar (mighty) men, and also all of the banay (my son) of malak (king) Dawad (David) submitted yad (hand) to Shalamah (Solomon - Patriarch) the malak (king).

Yahawah () gadal (magnified) Shalamah (Solomon) mail (top/above) in the iyan (eye) of all Yashar-Al (Israel), and nathan (give) on him such malakawath (royal) hawad (majesty) as had not been on any malak (king) panayam (face) him in Yashar-Al (Israel).

Now Dawad (David) the ban (son) of Yashay (Jesse) malak (king) over all Yashar-Al (Israel).

The yawam (day) that he malak (king) over Yashar-Al (Israel) was arabaiyam (forty) shanayam (two); he malak (king) shabai (seven) shanayam (two) in Chabarawan (Hebron), and he malak (king) shalawashayam (thirty) - shalawash (three) years in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem).

He mawath (death) in a tawab (good / proper function) shayabah (old age / white hair - due to age) age, shabai (full) of yamayam (days), riches, and honor: and Shalamah (Solomon - Patriarch) his ban (son) malak (king) in his place.

Now the dabaray (acts) of Dawad (David) the malak (king), raashawan (first) and acharawan (last), behold, they are kathab (write) in the history of Shamawaal (Samuel) the seer, and in the history of Nathan (give) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), and in the history of Gad (Gad) the chazah (seer),

With all his malakawath (reign) and his gabawarah (might), and the ithayam (times) that ibar (pass over/through) over him, and over Yashar-Al (Israel), and over all the mamalakawath (kingdoms) of the aratzawath (countries).
