1 Shalamah (Solomon - Patriarch) counted out seventy thousand ishah (make) to ishah (make) burdens, and eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
2 Shalamah (Solomon) sent to Chayaram (Huram) the king of Tzar (Tyre), saying, “As you dealt with Dawad (David) my father, and sent him cedars to banah (build) him a bayath (house) in which to dwell, so deal with me.
3 Behold, I am about to banah (build) a bayath (house) for the name of Yahawah () my Alahayam (), to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and kay (surely), on the Shabath (Sabbaths), and on the new moons, and on the banah (build) feasts of Yahawah () our Alahayam (). This is an ordinance forever to Yashar-Al (Israel).
4 “The bayath (house) which I banah (build) is bayath (house); for our Alahayam () is bayath (house) above all Alahayam ().
5 But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense im (nation / people) him?
6 “Now therefore shalach (send) me a yadai (man) skillful to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and who yawadaiyam (knows) how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful yawadaiyam (men) who are with me in Yahawadah (Judah) and in Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), whom Dawad (David) my father provided.
7 “Send me also cedar itzayam (trees), fir trees, and algum trees, out of Labanawan (Lebanon); for I know that your servants know how to cut itz (timber) in Labanawan (Lebanon): and behold, my servants shall be with your servants,
8 Even to prepare me itz (timber) in abundance; for the house which I am about to build shall be great and wonderful.
9 Behold, I will nathan (give) to your servants, the cutters who cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”
10 Then Chawaram (Huram) the malak (king) of Tzar (Tyre) amar (spoke) in writing, which he nathan (give) to Shalamah (Solomon), “Because Yahawah () loves his ban (son), he nathan (give) made you malak (king) over them.”
11 Chawaram (Huram) continued, “Blessed be Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), that yadai (made) heaven and earth, who yadai (has) given to Dawad (David) the king a chakam (wise) son, endowed with discretion and chakam (understanding), that should build a house for Yahawah (), and a house for his kingdom.
12 Now I have nathan (give) a skillful ayash (man / husband), endowed with yadai (understanding), of Chayaram (Huram) my ab (father),
13 The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan (); and his father was a man of Tzar (Tyre), skillful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson, also to engrave any kind of engraving, and to devise any device; that there may be a place appointed to him with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my Adawan () Dawad (David) your father.
14 “Now therefore the wheat and the barley, the oil and the wine, which my Adawan () has spoken of, bawaa (come) him send to his servants:
15 And we will cut wood out of Shalamah (Lebanon), as much as you shall need; and we will bring it to you in floats by sea to Yapaw (Joppa); and you shall carry it up to Yarawashalam (Jerusalem).”
16 Shalamah (Solomon) numbered all the foreigners who were in the land of Yashar-Al (Israel), after the numbering with which Dawad (David) his father had numbered them; and they were found one maah (hundred) fifty - shalawash (three) alap (thousand) shash (six) maah (hundred).
17 He ishah (make) shabaiyam (seventy) alap (thousand) of them to sabal (bear) burdens, and shamanayam (eighty) alap (thousand) who were chatzab (stone) cutters in the har (mountain), and shalawash (three) alap (thousand) shash (six) maah (hundred) natzach (overseers) to set the im (nation / people) at ibad (servant).
18 Shalamah (Solomon) numbered all the foreigners who were in the land of Yashar-Al (Israel), after the numbering with which Dawad (David) his father had numbered them; and they were found one maah (hundred) fifty - shalawash (three) alap (thousand) shash (six) maah (hundred).
