All the im (nation / people) asap (gathered) themselves together as achad (one) ayash (man / husband) into the rachab (broad) place that panayam (face) before the mayam (Waters) shair (gate); and they amar (spoke) to Izaraa (Ezra) the sapar (book) to bawaa (come) the sapar (book / scribed document) of the thawarah (instruction) of Mashah (Moses), which Yahawah () had tzawah (commanded) to Yashar-Al (Israel).

Izaraa (Ezra) the kahan (priest) bawaa (bring) the thawarah (Torah / Instruction) panayam (face) the qahal (assembly), both ayash (man / husband) and ayashah (woman / wife), and all who could shamai (hearken / hear) with bayan (between), on the achad (one) yawam (day) of the shabayaiy (seventh) chadash (month).

He qaraa (called) therein panayam (face) the rachab (broad) place that panayam (face) before the mayam (Waters) shair (gate) from early awar (light) until machatzayath (midday), in the presence of the anashayam (men) and the nashayam (women), and of those who could bayan (between); and the azanay (ears) of all the im (nation / people) were attentive to the sapar (book / scribed document) of the thawarah (Torah / Instruction).

Izaraa (Ezra) the sapar (book) imad (stood) on a pulpit of itz (wood), which they ishah (make) made for the dabar (word / matter); and beside him imad (stood) Mathathayah (Mattithiah), and Shamai (Shema), and Inayah (Anaiah), and Awarayah (Uriah the Hittite), and Chalaqayah (Hilkiah), and Maishayah (Maaseiah), on his right yamayan (right hand); and on his left yamayan (right hand), Padayah (Pedaiah), and Mayashaal (Mishael), and Malakayah (Malchijah), and Chasham (Hashum), and Chashabadanah (Hashbaddanah), Zakarayah (Zechariah), and Mashalam (Meshullam).

Izaraa (Ezra) pathach (opened) the sapar (book / scribed document) in the iyan (eye) of all the im (nation / people); (for he was above all the im (nation / people);) and when he pathach (opened) it, all the im (nation / people) imad (stood) up:

And Izaraa (Ezra) barak (blessed) Yahawah (), the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) Alahayam (). All the im (nation / people) inah (answer / respond), “aman (believe / have faith), aman (believe / have faith),” with the mail (top/above) up of their yad (hand). They qadad (bowed) their heads, and shachah (worshiped) Yahawah () with their apayam (faces) to the aratz (Earth/land).

Also Yashawai (Jeshua), and Banay (my son), and Sharabayah (Sherebiah), Yamayan (right hand), Iqawab (Akkub), Shabathay (Shabbethai), Hawadayah (Hodiah), Maishayah (Maaseiah), Qalayataa (Kelita), Izarayah (Azariah), Yawazabad (Jozabad), Chanan (showing favor), Palayah (Pelaiah), and the Lawayay (Levites), caused the im (nation / people) to bayan (between) the thawarah (Torah / Instruction): and the im (nation / people) stayed in their imad (place).

They qaraa (called) in the sapar (book / scribed document), in the thawarah (instruction) of Alahayam (), parash (distinctly); and they shawam (place / establish / appoint) the shakal (sense), so that they bayan (between) the maqaraa (reading).

Nachamayah (Nehemiah), who was the governor, and Izaraa (Ezra) the kahan (priest) the sapar (book), and the Lawayay (Levites) who bayan (between) the im (nation / people), amar (spoke) to all the im (nation / people), “This yawam (day) is qadawash (holy) to Yahawah () your Alahayam (). Don't abal (mourn), nor bakah (weep).” For all the im (nation / people) bakah (wept), when they shamai (hearken / hear) the dabaray (words) of the thawarah (instruction).

Then he amar (spoke) to them, “Go your yalak (way). Akal (eat) the mashaman (fat), shathah (drinks) the mamathaq (sweet), and shalach (send) manawath (portions) to him for whom nothing is kawan (prepared); for this yawam (day) is qadawash (holy) to our Adawan (). Don't be itzab (grieved); for the chadawah (joy) of Yahawah () is your maiwaz (stronghold / fortress / protection).”

So the Lawayay (Levites) chashah (stilled) all the im (nation / people), amar (said), “Hold your hasah (peace), for the yawam (day) is qadawash (holy); neither be itzab (grieved).”

All the im (nation / people) went their yalak (way) to akal (eat), and to shathah (drinks), and to shalach (send) manawath (portions), and to ishah (make) gadawal (very great/important/mighty) shamachah (mirth), because they bayan (between) understood the dabarayam (words) that were yadai (declared) to them.

They matzaa (found) kathab (write) in the thawarah (instruction), how that Yahawah () had tzawah (commanded) by Mashah (Moses), that the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) should yashab (inhabit/dwell) in sakawath (booths) in the chag (feast/festival) of the shabayaiy (seventh) chadash (month);

And that they should shamai (hearken / hear) and ibar (pass over/through) in all their iyar (cities), and in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), amar (said), “yatzaa (go out / come out) out to the har (mountain), and bawaa (bring) zayath (olive) branches, and branches of wild shaman (olive), and hadas (myrtle) branches, and thamar (palm) branches, and branches of ibath (thick) itz (trees), to ishah (make) sakath (booths), as it is kathab (write).”

So the im (nation / people) yatzaa (go out / come out) out, and bawaa (come) them, and ishah (make) themselves sakawath (booths), everyone on the gag (roof) of his house, and in their chatzarawath (courts), and in the chatzarawath (courts) of the bayath (house) of Alahayam (), and in the rachab (broad) place of the mayam (Waters) shair (gate), and in the rachab (broad) place of the shair (gate) of Aparayam (Ephraim).

All the qahal (assembly) of those who had shawab (turn) again out of the shabay (captivity) ishah (make) sakawath (booths), and lived in the sakawath (booths); for since the yamay (days) of Yashawai (Jeshua) the ban (son) of Nawan (Nun) to that yawam (day) the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) ishah (make) not done so. There was very gadawal (very great/important/mighty) shamachah (gladness).

Also yawam (day) by yawam (day), from the raashawan (first) yawam (day) to the acharawan (last) yawam (day), he qaraa (called) in the sapar (book / scribed document) of the thawarah (instruction) of Alahayam (). They ishah (make) the chag (feast/festival) shabai (seven) yamayam (days); and on the shamayanay (eighth) yawam (day) was a solemn itzarah (assembly), according to the mashapat (ordinance).
