2 “Shamai (hearken / hear) shamai (hearken / hear) to my speech. Let this be your thanachawam (consolation).

3 Allow me, and I also will dabar (word / matter); achar (other) I have dabar (word / matter), laig (mock) on.

4 As for me, is my shayach (complaint) to adam (man)? Why shouldn't I be impatient?

5 Panah (turn) at me, and be shamam (astonished). Shawam (place / establish / appoint) your yad (hand) on your pah (mouth).

6 When I zakar (remember), I am bahal (troubled). Palatzawath (horror) achaz (takes) hold of my bashar (flesh).

7 “Why do the rashai (wicked) chayah (live), ithaq (become) old, yes, and grow gabar (mighty) in chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor)?

8 Their zarai (child) is kawan (established) with them in their panayam (face), their tzaatzaa (offspring) before their iyan (eye).

9 Their bayath (house) are shalawam (peace / safety) from pachad (fear / dread), neither is the shabat (rod) of Alawah () upon them.

10 Their shawar (bulls) breed without gail (fail). Their parah (bear fruit / increase) palat (calve), and don't shakal (miscarry).

11 They shalach (send) forth their iwayal (little) ones like a tzaan (flock). Their yalad (birth / begot) raqad (dance).

12 They sing to the tambourine and kanawar (harp), and shamach (rejoice) at the qawal (sound / voice) of the pipe.

13 They balah (spend) their yawam (day) in tawab (good / proper function). In an ragai (in an instance) they nachath (go) down to shaawal (Sheol / afterlife).

14 They amar (said) Al, ‘sawar (depart) from us, for we don't want to daith (know) about your darak (ways).

15 What is the Shaday (), that we should ibad (servant) him? What yail (profit) should we have, if we pagai (pray) to him?’

16 Behold, their prosperity is not in their yad (hand). The itzah (counsel) of the rashai (wicked) is rachaq (far) from me.

17 “How often is it that the nayar (lamp) of the rashai (wicked) is daik (put) out, that their ayad (calamity) bawaa (come) on them, that Alahayam () distributes chabalayam (sorrows) in his ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting)?

18 How often is it that they are as thaban (stubble) panayam (face) the rawach (spirit / wind), as matz (chaff) that the sawapah (storm) ganab (carries) away?

19 You say, ‘Alawah () tzapan (lays) up his awan (iniquity) for his ban (son).’ Let him shalam (recompense) it to himself, that he may yadai (know) it.

20 Let his own iyan (eye) raah (see) his kayad (destruction). Let him shathah (drinks) of the chamah (wrath) of the Shaday ().

21 For what does he care for his bayath (house) achar (other) him, when the masapar (number) of his chadash (month) is chatzatz (cut) off?

22 “Shall any lamad (teach / instruct) Al daith (knowledge), since he shapat (judge / judgement) those who are rawam (will lift up)?

23 One mawath (death) in his tham (full) itzam (strength), shalaanan (being) wholly at ease and shalaw (quiet).

24 His pails are malaa (full) of chalab (milk). The mach (marrow) of his itzam (bones) is shaqah (moistened).

25 Another mawath (death) in bitterness of napash (soul), and never tastes of tawab (good / proper function).

26 They shakab (lie) down yachad (alike) in the ipar (dust). The ramah (worm) kasah (covers) them.

27 “Behold, I yadai (know) your machashabah (thoughts), the mazamawath (devices) with which you would chamas (wrong) me.

28 For you amar (said), ‘Where is the bayath (house) of the nadayab (prince)? Where is the mashakan (tent) in which the rashai (wicked) lived?’

29 Haven't you shaal (asked) wayfaring iwabaray (men)? Don't you nakar (know) their evidences,

30 That the rai (evil) man is chashak (darkness) to the yawam (day) of ayad (calamity), That they are yabal (led) forth to the yawam (day) of ibarah (wrath)?

31 Who shall nagad (declare) his darak (way) to his panayam (face)? Who shall shalam (repay) him what he ishah (make) done?

32 Yet he will be borne to the qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher). Men shall keep shaqad (watch) over the gadayash (tomb).

33 The ragabay (clods) of the nachal (stream / river) shall be mathaq (sweet) to him. All adam (men) shall mashak (draw) achar (other) him, as there were innumerable panayam (face) him.

34 So how can you nacham (turn away / repent) me with nonsense, because in your thashawabah (answers) there shaar (remains) only mail (top/above)?”
