6 So that they shakan (place) in frightful nachalayam (valleys), and in charay (holes) of the ipar (earth) and of the kapayam (rocks).
7 Among the bushes they nahaq (bray); and under the charawal (nettles) they are sapach (gathered) together.
8 They are banay (my son) of nabal (fools), yes, banay (my son) of sham (name) men. They were flogged out of the aratz (Earth/land).
9 “Now I have become their nagayanah (song). Yes, I am a malah (byword) to them.
10 They thaib (abhor) me, they stand aloof from me, and don't hesitate to raq (concept: what comes out / spittle) in my panayam (face).
11 For he pathach (has) untied his yathar (cord), and inah (answer / respond) me; and they have thrown off restraint panayam (face) me.
12 On my yamayan (right hand) hand qawam (rise up) the rabble. They thrust aside my ragal (feet / foot), They salal (cast) up against me their arachawath (ways) of ayad (destruction).
13 They nathas (mar) my nathayab (path), They yail (set) forward my hawah (calamity / destruction), without anyone's izar (help).
14 As through a rachab (wide) paratz (breach) they athah (you (masc)), in the midst of the ruin they galal (roll) themselves in.
15 Balahawath (terrors) have hapak (turned) on me. They radap (chase) my honor as the rawach (spirit / wind). My yashawaih (salvation) ibar (pass over/through) passed away as a ib (cloud).
16 “Now my napash (soul) is shapak (poured) out within me. Yamay (days) of inay (affliction) achaz (have) taken hold on me.
17 In the layal (night) season my itzam (bones) are naqar (pierced) in me, and the pains that gnaw me take no shakab (rest).
18 By rab (great) kach (strength / mighty / power) is my labawash (garment) disfigured. It azar (binds) me about as the pah (collar) of my kathanath (coat).
19 He has yarah (cast) me into the chamar (mire). I have mashal (speak in proverb/parable) like ipar (dust) and ashes.
20 I shawai (cry) to you, and you do not inah (answer / respond) me. I imad (stand) up, and you gaze at me.
21 You have hapak (turned) to be akazar (cruel) to me. With the itzam (might) of your yad (hand) you persecute me.
22 You nashaa (lift) me up to the rawach (spirit / wind), and drive me with it. You mawag (dissolve) me in the storm.
23 For I yadai (know) that you will shawab (turn) me to mawath (death), To the bayath (house) mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) for all chay (life).
24 “However doesn't one shalach (send) out a yad (hand) in his fall? Or in his calamity therefore shawai (cry) for help?
25 Didn't I bakah (weep) for him who was in qashah (rough / hard)? Wasn't my napash (soul) igam (grieved) for the abayawan (needy)?
26 When I qawah (gather/wait) for tawab (good / proper function), then rai (evil) bawaa (bring); When I yachal (waited) for awar (light), there bawaa (bring) apal (darkness).
27 My maih (heart) is troubled, and doesn't damam (rest). Yamay (days) of inay (affliction) have qadam (come) on me.
28 I halak (move) qadar (mourning) without the chamah (sun). I qawam (rise up) up in the qahal (assembly), and shawai (cry) for help.
29 I am a ach (brother/kinsman) to jackals, and a rai (neigbor/another person) to ostriches.
30 My iwar (skin) grows shachar (black) and peels from me. My itzam (bones) are charar (burned) with charab (heat).
31 Therefore my kanawar (harp) has turned to abal (mourning), and my pipe into the qawal (sound / voice) of those who bakah (weep).
