Psalms 108 — English–Hebrew Parallel

My lab (heart) is steadfast, Alahayam (). I will shayar (sing) and I will make music with my kabawad (soul).

Iwar (rouse / awaken) up, harp and lyre! I will iwar (rouse / awaken) up the dawn.

I will give yadah (thanks) to you, Yahawah (), among the imayam (nations). I will sing zamar (praises) to you among the amayam (peoples).

For your loving chasad (grace) is gadawal (very great/important/mighty) above the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens). Your amath (truth) reaches to the shachaqayam (skies).

Be rawam (will lift up), Alahayam (), above the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens)! Let your kabawad (glory) be over all the aratz (Earth/land).

That your yadayad (beloved) may be chalatz (delivered), yashai (salvation) with your right yamayan (right hand), and inah (answer / respond) us.

Alahayam () has dabar (word / matter) from his qadash (set apart / make holy): “In ilaz (triumph), I will chalaq (divide) Shakam (Shechem), and madad (measure) out the imaq (valley) of Sakawath (Succoth).

Galaid (Gilead) is mine. Manashah (Manasseh) is mine. Aparayam (Ephraim) also is my helmet. Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) is my scepter.

Mawaab (Moab) is my rachatz (wash) pot. I will toss my sandal on Adawam (Edom). I will rawai (shout) over Palashath (Philistia).”

Who will yabal (bring) me into the fortified iyar (city)? Who has nachah (led) me to Adawam (Edom)?

Haven't you rejected us, Alahayam ()? You don't yatzaa (go out / come out) forth, Alahayam (), with our tzabaa (troop).

Yahab (give) us izarah (help) against the tzar (oppressor / distressor), for the thashawaih (deliverance) of adam (man) is shawaa (vanity).

Through Alahayam (), we will ishah (make) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor). For it is he who will bawas (tread) down our tzar (oppressor / distressor).
