Psalms 126 — English–Hebrew Parallel

When Yahawah () shawab (turn back / repent) back those who shawab (turn back / repent) to Tzayawan (Zion), we were like those who dream.

Then our pah (mouth) was malaa (filled) with shachawaq (laughter/joking matter), and our lashawan (tongue / language) with ranah (singing). Then they amar (spoke) among the gawayam (nations), “Yahawah () ishah (make) done gadal (great) things for them.”

Yahawah () ishah (make) done gadal (great) things for us, and we are shamach (glad).

Shabawath (restore) our fortunes again, Yahawah (), like the apayaqayam (streams) in the Nagab (Negev).

Those who zarai (sow) in damaih (tears) will qatzar (reap) in ranah (joy).

He who yalak (goes) out bakah (weeping), nashaa (lift) zarai (seed) for sowing, will bawaa (bring) bawaa (bring) again with ranah (joy), nashaa (lift) his sheaves.
