Shamai (hearken / hear) this, all you imayam (peoples). Shamai (hearken / hear), all you yashabay (inhabitants) of the chalad (world),
Both low and high, ishayar (rich) and abayawan (poor) yachad (together).
My pah (mouth) will dabar (word / matter) words of chakamawath (wisdom). My lab (heart) shall utter thabawan (understanding).
I will natah (incline) my azan (ear) to a mashal (proverb). I will pathach (open) my chayadah (riddle) on the kanawar (harp).
Why should I yaraa (fear / be afraid) in the yamay (days) of rai (evil), when iwan (guilt/iniquity) at my iqab (heels) surrounds me?
Those who batach (trust) in their wealth, and halal (praise) in the rab (multitude) of their riches—
Ayash (man / husband) of them can by any padah (means) padah (redeem) his ach (brother/kinsman), nor nathan (give) Alahayam () a kapar (ransom) for him.
For the padayawam (redemption) of their napash (soul) is costly, no payment is iwalam (eternity) enough,
That he should chayah (live) on natzach (forever), that he should not raah (see / saw) shachath (corruption).
For he raah (see / saw) that chakam (wise) men mawath (death); yachad (likewise) the kasayal (fool) and the senseless abad (destroy / perish), and izab (leave) their wealth to others.
Their qarab (among / near) thought is that their bayath (house) will endure iwalam (eternity), and their mashakan (dwelling) places to all dawar (generation / age / period). They qaraa (called) their adamawath (lands) after themselves.
But adam (man), despite his riches, doesn't lawan (endure). He is mashal (speak in proverb/parable) the animals that damah (perish).
This is the destiny of those who are foolish, and of those who ratzah (approve) their pah (sayings). Salah (selah).
They are appointed as a tzaan (flock) for shaawal (Sheol / afterlife). Mawath (death) shall be their raih (shepherd). The yashar (upright) shall radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) dominion over them in the baqar (morning). Their beauty shall decay in shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), far from their mansion.
But Alahayam () will padah (redeem) my napash (soul) from the yad (hand) of shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), for he will laqach (take / seize) me. Salah (selah).
Don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) when a ayash (man / husband) is ishar (made) rich, when the kabawad (glory) of his bayath (house) is rabah (increased).
For when he mawath (death) he shall laqach (take / seize) nothing away. His kabawad (glory) shall not descend achar (other) him.
Though while he chay (life) he barak (blessed) his napash (soul)— and men yadah (praise) you when you yatab (do) well for yourself—
He shall bawaa (bring) to the dawar (generation / age / period) of his ab (father). They shall laa (NOT) raah (see / saw) the awar (light).
A adam (man) who has riches without bayan (between), is mashal (speak in proverb/parable) the animals that damah (perish).
