Proverbs 11 — English–Hebrew Parallel

9 With his pah (mouth) the godless man shachath (destroys) his neighbor, but the tzadayaq (righteous) will be chalatz (delivered) through daith (knowledge).

10 When it tawab (good / proper function) well with the tzadayaq (righteous), the qarayah (city / town) ilatz (rejoices). When the rashai (wicked) abad (destroy / perish), there is ranah (shouting).

11 By the barakah (blessing) of the yashar (upright), the qarath (city) is rawam (will lift up), but it is overthrown by the pah (mouth) of the rashai (wicked).

12 One who bawaz (despises) his neighbor is chasar (void) of lab (heart), but a ayash (man / husband) of thabawan (understanding) holds his charash (peace).

13 Halak (move) who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but aman (believe / have faith) who is of a trustworthy rawach (spirit / wind) is kasah (one) who keeps a secret.

14 Where there is no wise guidance, the im (nation / people) napal (fall / be cast down), but in the rab (multitude) of yaitz (counselors) there is thashawaih (deliverance).

20 Those who are iqash (perverse) in lab (heart) are an thawaibah (abomination) to Yahawah (), but those whose darak (ways) are blameless are his ratzawan (delight).

21 Most certainly, the rai (evil) man will not be naqah (clean/innocent), but the zarai (seed) of the tzadayaq (righteous) will be malat (delivered).

23 The thaawah (desire) of the tzadayaq (righteous) is only tawab (good / proper function). The thaqawah (expectation) of the rashai (wicked) is ibarah (wrath).

24 There is one who pazar (scatters), and yasap (increases) yet more. There is yashar (upright) who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains machasawar (poverty).

25 The barakah (liberal) napash (soul) shall be dashan (made) fat. He who rawah (waters) shall be watered also himself.

26 Laam (people) naqab (curse) someone who manai (withholds) grain, but barakah (blessing) will be on the raash (head) of him who shabar (sells) it.

27 He who shachar (diligently) seeks tawab (good / proper function) shachar (seeks) favor, but he who searches after rai (evil), it shall bawaa (bring) to him.

28 He who batach (trusts) in his riches will napal (fall / be cast down), but the tzadayaq (righteous) shall parach (flourish) as the green ilah (leaf).

29 He who ikar (troubles) his own bayath (house) shall nachal (inherit) the rawach (spirit / wind). The awayal (foolish) shall be ibad (servant) to the chakam (wise) of lab (heart).

30 The paray (fruit) of the tzadayaq (righteous) is a itz (tree) of chay (life). He who is chakam (wise) laqach (take / seize) napashawath (souls).

31 Behold, the tzadayaq (righteous) shall be repaid in the aratz (Earth/land); how much more the rashai (wicked) and the chataa (sinner)!
