4 The napash (soul) of the itzal (sluggard) awah (desires), and napash (soul) nothing, but the desire of the charawatz (diligent) shall be fully satisfied.
5 A tzadayaq (righteous) man shanaa (hate) lies, but a rashai (wicked) man chapar (brings) shame and disgrace.
6 Tzadaqah (righteousness) guards the darak (way) of tham (integrity), but rashaih (wickedness) salap (overthrows) the chataah (sin).
7 There are some who pretend to be ishar (rich), yet have nothing. There are some who pretend to be rawash (poor), yet rab (have) great hawan (wealth).
8 The kapar (ransom) of a ayash (man / husband) napash (soul) is his riches, but the rawash (poor) shamai (hearken / hear) no threats.
9 The awar (light) of the tzadayaq (righteous) shines brightly, but the nayar (lamp) of the rashai (wicked) is snuffed out.
10 Zadawan (pride) only breeds quarrels, but with ones who yaitz (take) advice is chakamah (wisdom).
11 Hawan (wealth) gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who qabatz (gathers) by yad (hand) rabah (makes) it grow.
12 Thawachalath (hope) mashak (deferred) makes the lab (heart) chalah (afflict), but when longing is fulfilled, it is a itz (tree) of chay (life).
13 Whoever bawaz (despises) instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command will be shalam (rewarded).
14 The teaching of the chakam (wise) is a maqawar (spring) of chay (life), to sawar (turn) from the maqashay (snares) of mawath (death).
15 Tawab (good / proper function) shakal (understanding) wins favor; but the darak (way) of the bagad (unfaithful) is ayathan (hard).
16 Every irawam (prudent) ishah (make) acts from daith (knowledge), but a kasayal (fool) exposes awalath (folly).
17 A rashai (wicked) malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) napal (fall / be cast down) into rai (trouble), but a trustworthy envoy gains marapaa (healing).
18 Rayash (poverty) and qalawan (shame) come to him who parai (refuses) mawasar (discipline), but he who shamar (keep/guard) mawasar (correction) shall be honored.
19 Longing fulfilled is irab (evening) to the napash (soul), but kasayalayam (fools) detest sawar (turning) from rai (evil).
20 One who halak (move) with chakam (wise) men grows chakam (wise), but a raih (companion) of kasayalayam (fools) suffers harm.
21 Misfortune radap (pursues) chataayam (sinners), but tawab (good / proper function) shalam (rewards) the tzadayaq (righteous).
22 A tawab (good / proper function) man leaves an nachal (inheritance) to his banay (my son) banay (my son), but the wealth of the chataa (sinner) is stored for the tzadayaq (righteous).
23 An rab (abundance) of akal (food) is in rawash (poor) nayar (people's) fields, but injustice sweeps it away.
24 One who chashak (darkness) the shabat (rod) shanaa (hate) his ban (son), but one who ahab (love) him is careful to mawasar (discipline) him.
25 The tzadayaq (righteous) napash (soul) akal (eat) to the shabai (satisfying) of his napash (soul), but the batan (belly) of the rashai (wicked) goes hungry.
