The dabar (word / matter) which came to Yaramayah (Jeremiah) from Yahawah (), when Nabawakadanaatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) malak (king) of Babal (Babylon), and all his chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor), and all the mamalakawath (kingdoms) of the aratz (Earth/land) that were under his yad (hand), and all the imayam (peoples), were lacham (fighting) against Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), and against all the iyar (cities) of it, amar (spoke):
“Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), ‘halak (move), and amar (spoke) to Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah), and amar (spoke) him, Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), “Behold, I will nathan (give) this iyar (city) into the yad (hand) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon), and he shall sharap (burn) it with ash (fire):
And you shall not malat (escape) out of his yad (hand), but shall thapash (surely) be thapash (taken), and nathan (give) into his yad (hand); and your iyanay (eyes) shall raah (see / saw) the iyanay (eyes) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon), and he shall dabar (word / matter) with you pah (mouth) to pah (mouth), and you shall bawaa (bring) to Babal (Babylon).”’
“Yet shamai (hearken / hear) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), O Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah): thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () concerning you, ‘You shall not mawath (death) by the charab (sword);
You shall mawath (death) in shalawam (peace / safety); and with the masharapawath (burnings) of your ab (father), the raashawan (former) malakayam (kings) who were panayam (face) you, so shall they sharap (make) a burning for you; and they shall sapad (lament) you, saying, “haway (Alas/Woe!) Adawan ()!” For I have dabar (word / matter) the dabar (word / matter),’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ().”
Then Yaramayah (Jeremiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) dabar (word / matter) all these dabarayam (words) to Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem),
When the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon's) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) was lacham (fighting) against Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), and against all the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) that were yathar (left), against Lakayash (Lachish) and against Izaqah (Azekah); for these alone shaar (remained) of the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) as fortified iray (cities).
The dabar (word / matter) that came to Yaramayah (Jeremiah) from Yahawah (), achar (other) that the malak (king) Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah) had karath (cut) a barayath (covenant) with all the im (nation / people) who were at Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), to qaraa (called) darawar (liberty) to them;
That every ayash (man / husband) should let his male servant, and every ayash (man / husband) his female servant, who is a ibaray (hebrew) or a Hebrewess, shalach (send) chapashay (free); that none should ibad (servant) bondservants of them, of a Yahawaday (Jew) his ach (brother/kinsman).
All the sharayam (princes) and all the im (nation / people) obeyed, who bawaa (bring) entered into the barayath (covenant), that everyone should let his male ayash (man / husband), and everyone his female servant, shalach (send) chapashay (free), that none should ibad (servant) bondservants of them any more; they shamai (hearken / hear), and shalach (send) them go:
But afterwards they shawab (turn), and caused the ibadayam (servants) and the handmaids, whom they had shalach (send) go chapashay (free), to shawab (turn), and kabash (brought) them into subjection for ibadayam (servants) and for handmaids.
Therefore the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to Yaramayah (Jeremiah) from Yahawah (), amar (spoke),
“Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel): ‘I karath (cut) a barayath (covenant) with your ab (father) in the yawam (day) that I yatzaa (go out / come out) them forth out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt), out of the bayath (house) of ibad (servant), amar (spoke),
At the qatz (end) of shabai (seven) shanayam (two) you shall shalach (send) go every ayash (man / husband) his ach (brother/kinsman) who is a ibaray (hebrew), who has been makar (sold) to you, and has ibad (servant) you shash (six) shanayam (two), you shall shalach (send) him go chapashay (free) from you: but your ab (father) didn't shamai (hearken / hear) to me, neither natah (inclined) their azan (ear).
You had yawam (day) shawab (turn), and ishah (make) done that which is yashar (upright) in my iyan (eye), in qaraa (called) darawar (liberty) every ayash (man / husband) to his neighbor; and you had karath (cut) a barayath (covenant) panayam (face) me in the bayath (house) which is qaraa (called) by my sham (name):
But you shawab (turn) and chalal (profaned) my sham (name), and caused every ayash (man / husband) his ibad (servant), and every ayash (man / husband) his handmaid, whom you had shalach (send) go chapashay (free) at their napash (soul), to shawab (turn); and you kabash (brought) them into subjection, to be to you for ibadayam (servants) and for handmaids.’”
Therefore thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (): “you have not shamai (hearken / hear) to me, to qaraa (called) darawar (liberty), every ayash (man / husband) to his ach (brother/kinsman), and every ayash (man / husband) to his neighbor: behold, I qaraa (called) to you a darawar (liberty),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (), “to the charab (sword), to the dabar (word / matter), and to the raib (famine); and I will nathan (give) you to be tossed back and forth among all the mamalakawath (kingdoms) of the aratz (Earth/land).
I will nathan (give) the anashayam (men) who ibar (pass over/through) transgressed my barayath (covenant), who have not qawam (rise up) the dabaray (words) of the barayath (covenant) which they karath (cut) panayam (face) me, when they karath (cut) the igal (calf) in shanayam (two) and ibar (pass over/through) between its bathar (parts);
The sharay (princes) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), and the sharay (princes) of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), the sarasayam (eunuchs), and the kahanayam (priests), and all the im (nation / people) of the aratz (Earth/land), who ibar (pass over/through) between the batharay (parts) of the igal (calf);
I will even nathan (give) them into the yad (hand) of their ayab (enemy), and into the yad (hand) of those who baqash (seek) their napash (soul); and their nabalah (dead) bodies shall be for maakal (food) to the iwap (flying) of the sky, and to the animals of the aratz (Earth/land).
“Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) and his shar (prince / ruler) will I nathan (give) into the yad (hand) of their ayab (enemy), and into the yad (hand) of those who baqash (seek) their napash (soul), and into the yad (hand) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon's) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor), who have ilah (go up / offer) away from you.
Behold, I will tzawah (command),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (), “and cause them to shawab (turn back / repent) to this iyar (city); and they shall lacham (fight) against it, and lakad (take) it, and sharap (burn) it with ash (fire): and I will nathan (give) the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Judah) a shamamah (desolation), without yashab (inhabit/dwell).”
