The dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),
“Ban (son) of adam (man), shawam (place / establish / appoint) your panayam (face) darak (toward) the thayaman (south), and natap (drop) your word toward the darawam (south), and nabaa (prophesy) against the yair (forest) of the shadah (field) in the nagab (south);
And amar (spoke) the yair (forest) of the nagab (south), ‘shamai (hearken / hear) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (): Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “Behold, I will yatzath (kindle) a ash (fire) in you, and it shall akal (eat) every lach (green) itz (tree) in you, and every yabash (dry land) itz (tree): the lahabah (flaming) shalahabath (flame) shall not be kabah (quenched), and all panayam (face) from the nagab (south) to the tzapawan (north) shall be burnt thereby.
All bashar (flesh) shall raah (see) that I, Yahawah (), have bair (kindled) it; it shall not be kabah (quenched).”’”
Then I amar (spoke), “ahah (ah) Adanay () Yahawah ()! They amar (spoke) of me, ‘Isn't he a speaker of mashal (parables)?’”
The dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),
“Ban (son) of adam (man), shawam (place / establish / appoint) your panayam (face) toward Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), and natap (drop) your word toward the sanctuaries, and nabaa (prophesy) against the shadah (land) of Yashar-Al (Israel);
And amar (spoke) the land of Yashar-Al (Israel), ‘Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (): “Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.
Kay (surely) then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword kabah (go) forth out of its sheath against all bashar (flesh) from the south to the north:
And all flesh shall know that I, Yahawah (), have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.”’
“Sigh therefore, you son of man; with the hayah (came to pass) of your thighs and with bitterness you will sigh before their eyes.
It shall be, when they shawam (place / establish / appoint) you, ‘Why do you sigh?’ That you shall say, ‘Because of the news, for it ban (son); and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it ban (son), and it shall be shawam (place / establish / appoint), says the Adanay () Yahawah ().’”
The word of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘Thus says Yahawah (): Say, “A charab (sword), a charab (sword), it is sharpened, and also furbished;
It is sharpened that it may make a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall we then yadai (make) mirth? The rod of my son, it condemns every tree.
It is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yes, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the killer.”’
Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my naam (declares prophetically), it is on all the princes of Yashar-Al (Israel): they are delivered over to the sword with my naam (declares prophetically); bawaa (come) therefore on your thigh.
“For there is a trial; and what if even the rod that condemns shall be no more?” Dabar (word / matter) the Adanay () Yahawah ().
“You therefore, ban (son) of adam (man), nabaa (prophesy), and strike your hands together; and let the charab (sword) be doubled the third time, the charab (sword) of the deadly wounded: it is the charab (sword) of the great one who is deadly wounded, which enters into their rooms.
I hayah (came to pass) set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their shabat (heart) may maas (melt), and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! It is shawash (made) as baraq (lightning), it is pointed for tabach (slaughter).
Gather yourselves together, go to the right, set yourselves in array, go to the left, wherever your face is nathan (give).
I will also sapaq (strike) my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest: I, Yahawah (), have spoken it.”
The word of Yahawah () came to me again, saying,
“Also, you ban (son) of adam (man), appoint two ways, that the charab (sword) of the king of Babal (Babylon) may ban (son); they al (toward) shall ban (son) forth out of one land: and mark out a place, mark it out at the head of the way to the city.
You shall nathan (give) a way for the charab (sword) to nathan (give) to Rabah (Rabbah) of the children of Imawan (Ammon), and to Yahawadah (Judah) in Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) the fortified.
For the king of Babal (Babylon) panayam (face) at the parting of the achad (one), at the head of the two achad (one), to use divination: he shook the arrows back and forth, he consulted the teraphim, he shawam (place / establish / appoint) in the liver.
In his right kap (hand) was the divination for Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), to nawach (set) battering rams, to open the mouth in the nakah (slaughter), to lift up the voice with shouting, to nawach (set) battering rams against the gates, to nakah (cast) up mounds, to build forts.
It shall be to them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths to them; but he brings dabar (word / matter) to memory, that they may be taken.
“Therefore thus says the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your shawam (place / establish / appoint) your sins yatzaa (go out / come out); because you have ban (son) to memory, you shall be shawam (place / establish / appoint) with the yad (hand).
“‘You, deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Yashar-Al (Israel), whose day bawaa (come) come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,
Thus says the Adanay () Yahawah (): “Remove the turban, and raah (see) off the crown; this shall be no more the same; exalt that which is low, and abase that which is raash (head).
I will shawam (place / establish / appoint), shawam (place / establish / appoint), shawam (place / establish / appoint) it: this also shall be no more, until he hayah (came to pass) whose yamayan (right hand) it is; and I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) it him.”’
