Ezekiel 32 — English–Hebrew Parallel

It happened in the shanayam (two) shanah (year), in the twelfth chadash (month), in the achad (one) day of the chadash (month), “that the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),

‘Ban (son) of adam (man), nashaa (lift) up a qayanah (lamentation) over Paraih (Pharaoh) malak (king) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), and amar (said) him, “You were damah (likened) to a young kapayar (lion) of the gawayam (heathen): yet you are as a monster in the yamayam (seas); and you gayach (broke) out with your nahar (rivers), and dalach (troubled) the mayam (Waters) with your ragal (feet / foot), and rapash (fouled) their nahar (rivers).”

Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “I will parash (spread) out my rashath (net) on you with a qahal (company) of many imayam (peoples); and they shall ilah (go up / offer) you up in my charam (net).

I will natash (leave) you on the aratz (Earth/land), I will tawal (cast) you forth on the panayam (face) shadah (field), and will cause all the iwap (flying) of the sky to settle on you, and I will shabai (satisfy) the animals of the whole aratz (Earth/land) with you.

I will nathan (give) your bashar (flesh) on the harayam (mountains), and malaa (fill) the gaayawath (valleys) with your ramawath (height).

I will also shaqah (water) with your dam (blood) the aratz (Earth/land) in which you swim, even to the harayam (mountains); and the watercourses shall be malaa (full) of you.

When I shall extinguish you, I will kasah (cover) the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), and make its kawakab (star) qadar (dark); I will kasah (cover) the shamash (sun) with a inan (cloud), and the yarach (moon) shall not awar (light) its awar (light).

All the maawar (Maawar / Luminary) awar (light) of the sky will I make qadar (dark) over you, and nathan (give) chashak (darkness) on your aratz (Earth/land),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().

“I will also trouble the lab (heart) of many imayam (peoples), when I shall bawaa (bring) your shabar (destruction) among the gawayam (heathen), into the aratzawath (countries) which you yadai (have) not known.

Yes, I will make many imayam (peoples) shamam (amazed) at you, and their malak (king) shall be shair (horribly) shair (dread / storm / horror) for you, when I shall iwap (flying) my charab (sword) panayam (face) them; and they shall charad (tremble) at every ragai (in an instance), every ayash (man / husband) for his own napash (soul), in the yawam (day) of your mapalath (fall).”

For thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “The charab (sword) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon) shall bawaa (come) on you.

By the charabawath (swords) of the gabawar (mighty) will I cause your hamawan (multitude) to napal (fall / be cast down); the irayatz (terrible) of the gawayam (heathen) are they all: and they shall bring to nothing the gaawan (pride) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), and all its hamawan (multitude) shall be destroyed.

I will abad (destroy / perish) also all its animals from beside many mayam (Waters); neither shall the ragal (feet / foot) of adam (man) dalach (trouble) them any more, nor the parasawath (hoofs) of animals dalach (trouble) them.

Then will I make their mayam (Waters) clear, and cause their nahar (rivers) to yalak (run) like shaman (oil),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().

“When I shall nathan (give) the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt) shamamah (desolate) and waste, a aratz (Earth/land) shamam (destitute) of that of which it malaa (was) full, when I shall nakah (strike) all those who yashab (inhabit/dwell) therein, then shall they yadai (know) that I am Yahawah ().

“‘“This is the qayanah (lamentation) with which they shall qawan (lament); the banawath (daughters) of the gawayam (nations) shall qawan (lament) therewith; over Matzarayam (Egypt), and over all her hamawan (multitude),” shall they qawan (lament) therewith, naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().’”
