Ezekiel 42 — English–Hebrew Parallel

Then he yatzaa (go out / come out) me forth into the chayatzawan (outer) chatzar (court), the darak (way) toward the tzapawan (north): and he bawaa (bring) me into the room that was over against the gazarah (separate) place, and which was over against the banayan (building) toward the tzapawan (north).

Panayam (face) the arak (length) of one maah (hundred) amawath (cubits) was the tzapawan (north) pathach (door), and the rachab (breadth) was chamashayam (fifty) amawath (cubits).

Over against the isharayam (twenty) cubits which belonged to the inner chatzar (court), and over against the ratzapah (pavement) which belonged to the chayatzawan (outer) chatzar (court), was athawaq (gallery) panayam (face) athawaq (gallery) in the shalayashay (third) story.

Panayam (face) the rooms was a mahalak (walk) of ishar (ten) amawath (cubits)’ rachab (breadth) inward, a darak (way) of achad (one) amah (cubit); and their pathach (doors) were toward the tzapawan (north).

Now the ilayawan (Most High) rooms were shorter; for the athayaqayam (galleries) took away from these, more than from the thachathawan (lower) and the thayakawan (middle), in the banayan (building).

For they were in shalash (three) stories, and they didn't have imawadayam (pillars) as the imawadayam (pillars) of the chatzarawath (courts): therefore the uppermost was atzal (straitened) more than the thachathawan (lowest) and the thayakawan (middle) from the aratz (Earth/land).

The gadar (wall) that was outside by the side of the rooms, toward the chayatzawan (outer) chatzar (court) panayam (face) the rooms, its arak (length) was chamashayam (fifty) amah (cubits).

For the arak (length) of the rooms that were in the chayatzawan (outer) chatzar (court) was chamashayam (fifty) amah (cubits): and behold, panayam (face) the hayakal (temple) were one maah (hundred) amah (cubits).

From under these rooms was the mabawaa (entry) on the qadayam (east) side, as one bawaa (bring) into them from the chayatzawan (outer) chatzar (court).

In the rachab (thickness) of the gadar (wall) of the chatzar (court) darak (toward) the qadayam (east), panayam (face) the gazarah (separate) place, and panayam (face) the banayan (building), there were rooms.

The darak (way) panayam (face) them was like the maraah (appearance) of the lashakah (way) of the rooms which were darak (toward) the tzapawan (north); according to their arak (length) so was their breadth: and all their exits were both according to their mashapat (fashions), and according to their pathach (doors).

According to the pathachay (doors) of the rooms that were darak (toward) the darawam (south) was a pathach (door) at the raash (head) of the darak (way), even the darak (way) hagayan (directly) panayam (face) the gadarah (wall) darak (toward) the qadayam (east), as one bawaa (bring) into them.

Then he amar (spoke) to me, “The tzapawan (north) rooms and the darawam (south) rooms, which are panayam (face) the gazarah (separate) place, they are the qadash (set apart / make holy) rooms, where the kahanayam (priests) who are qarawab (near) to Yahawah () shall akal (eat) the most qadash (set apart / make holy) things: there shall they yanach (lay) the most qadash (set apart / make holy) things, and the meal manachah (offering), and the chataah (sin) offering, and the asham (trespass) offering; for the maqawam (place) is qadawash (holy).

When the kahanayam (priests) bawaa (bring) in, then shall they not bawaa (bring) out of the qadash (set apart / make holy) place into the chayatzawan (outer) chatzar (court), but there they shall yanach (lay) their bagadayam (garments) in which they sharath (minister); for they are qadash (set apart / make holy): and they shall labash (put) on other bagadayam (garments), and shall qarab (come close) to that which pertains to the im (nation / people).”

Now when he kalah (complete / finish) made an end of madah (measuring) the inner bayath (house), he yatzaa (go out / come out) me forth by the darak (way) of the shair (gate) whose prospect is darak (toward) the qadayam (east), and madad (measured) it all around.

He madad (measured) on the qadayam (east) rawach (spirit / wind) with the madah (measuring) qanah (reed) chamash (five) amah (hundred) qanayam (reeds), with the madah (measuring) qanah (reed) all around.

He madad (measured) on the tzapawan (north) rawach (spirit / wind) chamash (five) maah (hundred) qanayam (reeds) with the madah (measuring) qanah (reed) all around.

He madad (measured) on the darawam (south) rawach (spirit / wind) chamash (five) maah (hundred) qanayam (reeds) with the madah (measuring) qanah (reed).

He sabab (turned) about to the yam (sea/waters) rawach (spirit / wind), and madad (measured) chamash (five) maah (hundred) qanayam (reeds) with the madah (measuring) qanah (reed).

He madad (measured) it on the arabai (four) rawachawath (sides): it had a chawamah (wall) around it, the arak (length) chamash (five) maah (hundred), and the rachab (breadth) chamash (five) maah (hundred), to badal (separated) a separation between that which was qadash (set apart / make holy) and that which was chal (common).
