1 He shawab (turn) me back to the pathach (door) of the bayath (house); and behold, mayam (Waters) yatzaa (go out / come out) out from under the mapathan (threshold) of the bayath (house) eastward; (for the panayam (face) of the bayath (house) was toward the qadayam (east);) and the mayam (Waters) yarad (came) down from under, from the yamanay (right) kathap (side) of the bayath (house), on the nagab (south) of the mazabach (altar).
2 Then he yatzaa (go out / come out) me out by the darak (way) of the shair (gate) northward, and led me round by the darak (way) outside to the outer shair (gate), by the darak (way) of the shair (gate) that panah (turn) toward the qadayam (east); and behold, there pakah (ran) out mayam (Waters) on the yamanay (right) kathap (side).
3 When the ayash (man / husband) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth eastward with the qaw (line) in his yad (hand), he madad (measured) one alap (thousand) amah (cubits), and he ibar (pass over/through) me to pass through the may (waters), may (waters) that were to the apasayam (ankles).
4 Again he madad (measured) one alap (thousand), and ibar (pass over/through) me to pass through the may (waters), may (waters) that were to the barakayam (knees). Again he madad (measured) one alap (thousand), and ibar (pass over/through) me to pass through the may (waters), mathanayam (waters) that were to the waist.
5 Afterward he madad (measured) one alap (thousand); and it was a nachal (stream / river) that I yakal (could) not ibar (pass over/through) through; for the may (waters) were gaah (risen), may (waters) to shachaw (swim) in, a nachal (stream / river) that could not be ibar (pass over/through) through.
6 He amar (said) to me, “ban (son) of adam (man), raah (see / saw) you seen?” this? Then he yalak (brought) me, and caused me to shawab (turn) to the shapah (bank) of the nachal (stream / river).
7 Now when I had shawab (turn), behold, on the shapah (bank) of the nachal (stream / river) were very many itz (trees) on the one side and on the other.
8 Then he amar (said) to me, “These mayam (Waters) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth toward the eastern region, and shall bawaa (bring) down into the irabah (arabah); and they shall go toward the yam (sea/waters); into the yam (sea/waters) shall the waters yatzaa (go out / come out) which were made to issue forth; and the mayam (Waters) shall be rapaa (healed).
9 It shall happen, that every living napash (soul) which swarms, in every place where the nachalayam (rivers) bawaa (bring), shall chayah (live); and there shall be a very rab (great) multitude of dagah (fish); for these mayam (Waters) bawaa (bring) come there, and the waters of the sea shall be rapaa (healed), and everything shall chayay (life) wherever the nachal (stream / river) baaw (comes).
10 It shall happen, that fishermen shall imad (stand) by it: from Iyan-Gaday (En Gedi) even to Iyanaigalayam (En Eglaim) shall be a place for the mashatawach (spreading) of charamayam (nets); their dagah (fish) shall be after their mayan (species), as the dagah (fish) of the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) yam (sea/waters), maad (exceeding) many.
11 But the miry places of it, and its marshes, shall not be rapaa (healed); they shall be nathan (give) up to malach (salt).
12 By the nachal (stream / river) on its shapah (bank), on this side and on that side, shall ilah (go up / offer) every itz (tree) for maakal (food), whose ilah (leaf) shall not nabal (wither), neither shall its paray (fruit) thamam (fail): it shall bakar (bring) forth new fruit every chadash (month), because its mayam (Waters) yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the maqadash (sanctuary); and its paray (fruit) shall be for maakal (food), and its ilah (leaf) for healing.”
13 Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “gah (this) shall be the gabawal (border/boundary), by which you shall divide the aratz (Earth/land) for nachal (inheritance) according to the shanayam (two) shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel): Yawasap (Joseph) shall have two chabalayam (portions).
14 You shall nachal (inherit) it, ayash (man / husband) as well as ach (brother/kinsman); for I yad (hand) to nathan (give) it to your ab (father): and this aratz (Earth/land) shall napal (fall / be cast down) to you for nachalah (inheritance).
15 “This shall be the gabawal (border/boundary) of the aratz (Earth/land): “On the tzapawan (north) paah (side), from the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) yam (sea/waters), by the darak (way) of Chathalan (Hethlon), to the entrance of Tzadad (Zedad);
16 Chamath (Hamath), Barawathah (Berothah), Sabarayam (Sibraim), which is between the gabawal (border/boundary) of Damashaq (Damascus) and the gabawal (border/boundary) of Chamath (Hamath); Hazer Chatzarahathayakawan (Hatticon), which is by the gabawal (border/boundary) of Chawaran (Hauran).
17 The gabawal (border/boundary) from the yam (sea/waters), shall be Chatzar-Iyanawan (Hazar Enon) at the gabawal (border/boundary) of Damashaq (Damascus); and on the tzapawan (north) northward is the gabawal (border/boundary) of Chamath (Hamath). This is the tzapawan (north) paah (side).
18 “The qadayam (east) paah (side), bayan (between) Chawaran (Hauran) and Damashaq (Damascus) and Galaid (Gilead), and the aratz (Earth/land) of Yashar-Al (Israel), shall be the Yaradan (Jordan); from the north gabawal (border/boundary) to the qadamawanay (east) yam (sea/waters) you shall madad (measure). This is the qadayam (east) paah (side).
19 “The nagab (south) paah (side) southward shall be from Thamar (Tamar) as far as the may (waters) of Meriboth Qadash (Kadesh), to the nachal (stream / river) of Matzarayam (Egypt), to the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) yam (sea/waters). This is the thayaman (south) paah (side) southward.
20 “The yam (sea/waters) paah (side) shall be the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) yam (sea/waters), from the south gabawal (border/boundary) as far as over nakach (against) the entrance of Chamath (Hamath). This is the yam (sea/waters) paah (side).
21 “So you shall chalaq (divide) this aratz (Earth/land) to you according to the shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
22 It shall happen, that you shall napal (fall / be cast down) it by lot for an nachalah (inheritance) to you and to the garayam (aliens) who live thawak (midst) you, who shall yalad (birth / begot) banayam (children) thawak (midst) you; and they shall be to you as the native - azarach (born) among the banayam (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel); they shall napal (fall / be cast down) nachalah (inheritance) with you thawak (midst) the shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
23 It shall happen, that in what shabat (tribe) the gar (sojourner / stranger / foreigner) lives, there you shall nathan (give) him his nachalah (inheritance),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().
