1 In the shalawash (three) shanah (year) of Kawarash (Cyrus) malak (king) of Paras (Persia) a thing was galah (revealed) to Danayaal (Daniel), whose sham (name) was qaraa (called) Balatashaatzar (Belteshazzar); and the thing was amath (truth), even a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) tzabaa (troop): and he bayan (between) the thing, and had bayanah (understanding) of the maraah (vision).
2 In those yamayam (days) I, Danayaal (Daniel), was abal (mourning) shalawash (three) yawam (day) shabaiyam (seventy).
3 I akal (eat) no chamad (pleasant) lacham (bread), neither bawaa (bring) bashar (flesh) nor yayan (wine) into my pah (mouth), neither did I sawak (anoint) myself at sawak (all), until shalawash (three) yawam (day) shabaiyam (seventy) were malaa (fulfilled).
4 In the arabai (four) and isharayam (twenty) yawam (day) of the raashawan (first) chadash (month), as I was by the yad (hand) of the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) nahar (river), which is Chadaqal (Hiddekel),
5 I nashaa (lift) up my iyan (eye), and raah (see / saw), and behold, a ayash (man / husband) labash (clothed) in bad (linen), whose thighs were adorned with katham (pure) gold of Awapaz (Uphaz):
6 His gawayah (corpse) also was like the tharashayash (beryl), and his panayam (face) as the maraah (appearance) of baraq (lightning), and his iyan (eye) as ash (fire) torches, and his zarawai (arms) and his maragalah (feet) like qalal (burnished) nachashath (brass), and the qawal (sound / voice) of his dabar (word / matter) like the qawal (sound / voice) of a hamawan (multitude).
7 I, Danayaal (Daniel), alone raah (see / saw) the maraah (vision); for the anashayam (men) who were with me didn't raah (see / saw) the maraah (vision); but a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) charadah (quaking) napal (fall / be cast down) on them, and they barach (fled) to chabaa (hide) themselves.
8 So I was shaar (left) alone, and raah (see / saw) this gadawal (very great/important/mighty) maraah (vision), and there shaar (remained) no kach (strength / mighty / power) in me; for my hawad (comeliness) was hapak (turned) in me into mashachayath (corruption), and I itzar (retained) no kach (strength / mighty / power).
9 Yet shamai (hearken / hear) I the qawal (sound / voice) of his dabar (word / matter); and when I shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of his dabar (word / matter), then was I fallen into a radam (deep) sleep on my panayam (face), with my panayam (face) toward the aratz (Earth/land).
10 Behold, a yad (hand) nagai (touched) me, which nawai (set) me on my barak (blessed) and on the kapawath (palms) of my yad (hand).
11 He amar (said) to me, “Danayaal (Daniel), you ayash (man / husband) greatly beloved, bayan (between) the dabarayam (words) that I dabar (word / matter) to you, and imad (stand) upright; for am I now shalach (send) to you.” When he had dabar (word / matter) this dabar (word / matter) to me, I imad (stood) raid (trembling).
12 Then he amar (spoke) to me, “Don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid), Danayaal (Daniel); for from the raashawan (first) yawam (day) that you nathan (give) your lab (heart) to bayan (between), and to inah (oppress / afflict) yourself panayam (face) your Alahayam (), your dabar (word / matter) were shamai (hearken / hear): and I bawaa (come) come for your dabar (word / matter)’ sake.
13 But the shar (prince / ruler) of the malakawath (kingdom) of Paras (Persia) withstood me isharayam (twenty) - achad (one) yawam (day); but, behold, Mayakaal (Michael), achad (one) of the chief sharayam (princes), bawaa (bring) to izar (help) me: and I yathar (remained) there with the malakay (kings) of Paras (Persia).
14 Now I bawaa (bring) come to bayan (between) you understand what shall qarah (happen) to your im (nation / people) in the acharayath (latter) yamayam (days); for the chazawan (vision) is yet for many yamayam (days):”
15 And when he had dabar (word / matter) to me according to these dabarayam (words), I nathan (give) my panayam (face) toward the aratz (Earth/land), and was mute.
16 Behold, one in the damawath (likeness) of the banay (sons) of adam (men) nagai (touched) my shapah (lips): then I pathach (opened) my pah (mouth), and dabar (word / matter) and amar (spoke) to him who imad (stood) before me, “my Adawan (), by reason of the maraah (vision) my tzayar (sorrows) are hapak (turned) on me, and I itzar (retain) no kach (strength / mighty / power).
17 For hayak (how) yakal (can) the ibad (servant) of this my Adawan () dabar (word / matter) with this my Adawan ()? For as for me, immediately there imad (remained) no kach (strength / mighty / power) in me, neither was there nashamah (breathing thing) shaar (left) in me.”
18 Then there nagai (touched) me again one like the maraah (appearance) of a adam (man), and he chazaq (strengthened) me.
19 He amar (spoke), “Greatly beloved ayash (man / husband), don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid): shalawam (peace / safety) be to you, be chazaq (strong), yes, be chazaq (strong).” When he dabar (word / matter) to me, I was chazaq (strengthened), and amar (spoke), “Let my Adawan () dabar (word / matter); for you have chazaq (strengthened) me.”
20 Then he amar (said), “Do you yadai (know) why I bawaa (bring) come to you? Now I will shawab (turn) to lacham (fight) with the shar (prince / ruler) of Paras (Persia). When I yatzaa (go out / come out) forth, behold, the shar (prince / ruler) of Yawan (Greece) shall bawaa (bring).
21 But I will nagad (tell) you that which is inscribed in the kathab (write) of amath (truth): and there is none who chazaq (holds) with me against these, but Mayakaal (Michael) your shar (prince / ruler).
