“As for me, in the achad (one) shanah (year) of Darayawash (Darius) the maday (mede), I imad (stood) up to chazaq (confirm) and maiwaz (stronghold / fortress / protection) him.
“Now will I show you the amath (truth). Behold, there shall imad (stand) up yet shalawash (three) malakayam (kings) in Paras (Persia); and the rabayaiy (fourth) shall be ishar (wealth / riches) richer than they all: and when he has grown chazaqah (strong) through his riches, he shall iwar (rouse / awaken) up all against the malakawath (realm) of Yawan (Greece).
A gabawar (mighty) malak (king) shall imad (stand) up, who shall mashal (rule/have dominion) with rab (great) mamashal (authority), and ishah (make) according to his ratzawan (will).
When he shall imad (stand) up, his malakawath (kingdom) shall be shabar (broken), and shall be chatzah (divided) toward the arabai (four) rawachawath (winds) of the sky, but not to his acharayath (posterity), nor according to his mashal (dominion) with which he mashal (rule/have dominion); for his malakawath (kingdom) shall be nathash (plucked) up, even for others besides these.
“The malak (king) of the nagab (south) shall be chazaq (strong), and one of his shar (prince / ruler); and he shall be chazaq (strong) above him, and mashal (rule/have dominion) dominion; his mamashalah (rule / govern) shall be a rab (great) mamashal (authority).
At the qatz (end) of shanayam (two) they shall chabar (join) themselves together; and the banath (daughter) of the malak (king) of the nagab (south) shall bawaa (bring) to the malak (king) of the tzapawan (north) to ishah (make) an mayashar (agreement): but she shall not itzar (retain) the kach (strength / mighty / power) of her zarawai (arm); neither shall he imad (stand), nor his zarawai (arm); but she shall be nathan (give) up, and those who bawaa (bring) her, and he who became the yalad (birth / begot) of her, and he who chazaq (strengthened) her in those ithayam (times).
“But out of a shoot from her sharash (roots) shall one imad (stand) up in his kan (for sure), who shall bawaa (bring) to the chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor), and shall bawaa (bring) into the maiwaz (stronghold / fortress / protection) of the malak (king) of the tzapawan (north), and shall ishah (make) against them, and shall chazaq (prevail).
Also their Alahayam (), with their molten nasayak (images), and with their chamadah (goodly) kalay (vessels) of kasap (silver) and of zahab (gold), shall he bawaa (come) shabay (captive) into Matzarayam (Egypt); and he shall refrain some shanayam (years) from the malak (king) of the tzapawan (north).
He shall bawaa (bring) into the malakawath (realm) of the malak (king) of the nagab (south), but he shall shawab (turn) into his own adamah (land).
His ban (son) shall war, and shall asap (assemble) a hamawan (multitude) of rab (great) chayalayam (forces), which shall bawaa (bring) on, and shatap (overflow), and ibar (pass over/through) through; and they shall shawab (turn) and war, even to his maiwaz (stronghold / fortress / protection).
“The malak (king) of the nagab (south) shall be marar (moved) with anger, and shall yatzaa (go out / come out) forth and lacham (fight) with him, even with the malak (king) of the tzapawan (north); and he shall imad (set) forth a rab (great) hamawan (multitude), and the hamawan (multitude) shall be nathan (give) into his yad (hand).
The hamawan (multitude) shall be rawam (will lift up) up, and his labab (heart) shall be rawam (will lift up); and he shall napal (fall / be cast down) down rabaawath (tens) of thousands, but he shall not izaz (prevail).
The malak (king) of the tzapawan (north) shall shawab (turn), and shall imad (set) forth a hamawan (multitude) greater than the raashawan (former); and he shall bawaa (bring) on at the qatz (end) of the ithayam (times), even of shanayam (two), with a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) and with much rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions).
“In those ithayam (times) there shall many imad (stand) up against the malak (king) of the nagab (south): also the banay (my son) of the violent among your im (nation / people) shall nashaa (lift) themselves up to imad (establish) the chazawan (vision); but they shall kashal (stumble / stagger).
So the malak (king) of the tzapawan (north) shall bawaa (bring), and shapak (cast) up a mound, and lakad (take) a well-fortified iyar (city): and the forces of the nagab (south) shall not imad (stand), neither his mabachar (chosen) im (nation / people), neither shall there be any kach (strength / mighty / power) to imad (stand).
But he who bawaa (bring) against him shall ishah (make) according to his ratzawan (own) will, and none shall imad (stand) panayam (face) him; and he shall imad (stand) in the tzabay (glorious) aratz (Earth/land), and in his yad (hand) shall be destruction.
He shall shawam (place / establish / appoint) his panayam (face) to bawaa (bring) with the thaqap (strength) of his whole malakawath (kingdom), and with him equitable conditions; and he shall ishah (make) them: and he shall nathan (give) him the banath (daughter) of nashayam (women), to shachath (corrupt) her; but she shall not imad (stand), neither be for him.
After this shall he shawab (turn) his panayam (face) to the ayayam (islands), and shall lakad (take) many: but a qatzayan (prince) shall cause the charapah (reproach) offered by him to shabath (shabath / rest); yes, moreover, he shall cause his charapah (reproach) to shawab (turn) on him.
Then he shall shawab (turn) his panayam (face) toward the fortresses of his own aratz (Earth/land); but he shall kashal (stumble / stagger) and napal (fall / be cast down), and shall not be matzaa (found).
“Then shall imad (stand) up in his kan (for sure) ibar (pass over/through) who shall cause a nagash (tax) collector to pass through the malakawath (kingdom) to maintain its glory; but within achad (one) yamayam (days) he shall be shabar (destroyed), neither in ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting), nor in malachamah (battle).
“In his kan (for sure) shall imad (stand) up a bazah (contemptible) person, to whom they nathan (give) not given the honor of the malakawath (kingdom): but he shall bawaa (bring) in time of security, and shall obtain the malakawath (kingdom) by chalaqalaqawath (flatteries).
The overwhelming forces shall be shatap (overwhelmed) from panayam (face) him, and shall be shabar (broken); yes, also the nagayad (prince) of the barayath (covenant).
After the treaty made with him he shall ishah (make) deceitfully; for he shall ilah (go up / offer) up, and shall become itzam (strong), with a mait (small) gaway (heathen / nation).
In time of security shall he bawaa (bring) even on the fattest mashamanay (places) of the madayanah (province); and he shall ishah (make) that which his abawath (fathers) ishah (make) not done, nor his abawath (fathers)’ abawath (fathers); he shall bazar (scatter) among them bazah (prey), and shalal (spoil), and rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions): yes, he shall chashab (devise) his machashabah (devices) against the strongholds, even for a ith (time).
“He shall iwar (rouse / awaken) up his kach (strength / mighty / power) and his labab (courage) against the malak (king) of the nagab (south) with a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor); and the malak (king) of the nagab (south) shall war in malachamah (battle) with an maad (exceeding) gadawal (very great/important/mighty) and itzawam (mighty) chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor); but he shall not imad (stand); for they shall chashab (devise) machashabawath (devices) against him.
Yes, they who akal (eat) of his dainties shall shabar (destroy) him, and his chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) shall shatap (overflow); and many shall napal (fall / be cast down) down chalal (slain).
As for shanayam (two) these malakayam (kings), their labab (hearts) shall be to marai (do) mischief, and they shall dabar (word / matter) kazab (lies) at achad (one) shalachan (table): but it shall not tzalach (prosper); for yet the qatz (end) shall be at the mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) appointed.
Then shall he shawab (turn) into his aratz (Earth/land) with gadawal (very great/important/mighty) rakawash (wealth / property / goods / possessions); and his labab (heart) shall be against the qadash (set apart / make holy) barayath (covenant); and he shall ishah (make) his pleasure, and shawab (turn) to his own aratz (Earth/land).
“At the mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) appointed he shall shawab (turn), and bawaa (bring) into the nagab (south); but it shall not be in the acharawan (latter) raashawan (time) as it was in the former.
For tzayayam (ships) of Kathay (Kittim) shall bawaa (bring) against him; therefore he shall be kaah (grieved), and shall shawab (turn), and have zaim (indignation) against the qadash (set apart / make holy) barayath (covenant), and shall ishah (make) his pleasure: he shall even shawab (turn), and bayan (between) regard to those who izab (forsake) the qadash (set apart / make holy) barayath (covenant).
“Forces shall imad (stand) on his part, and they shall chalal (profane) the maqadash (sanctuary), even the maiwaz (stronghold / fortress / protection), and shall sawar (take) away the thamayad (continual) burnt nathan (give), and they shall set up the shaqawatz (abomination) that shamam (makes) desolate.
Such as rashai (do) wickedly against the barayath (covenant) shall he pervert by chalaqawath (flatteries); but the im (nation / people) who yadai (know) their Alahayam () shall be chazaq (strong), and ishah (make) exploits.
“Those who are shakal (wise) among the im (nation / people) shall bayan (between) many; yet they shall kashal (stumble / stagger) by the charab (sword) and by lahabah (flame), by shabay (captivity) and by bazah (spoil), many yamayam (days).
Now when they shall kashal (stumble / stagger), they shall be izar (helped) with a mait (little) izar (help); but many shall lawah (join) themselves to them with chalaqalaqawath (flatteries).
Some of those who are shakal (wise) shall kashal (stumble / stagger), to tzarap (refine) them, and to barar (purify), and to laban (make) them white, even to the ith (time) of the qatz (end); because it is yet for the mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) appointed.
“The malak (king) shall ishah (make) according to his ratzawan (will); and he shall rawam (will lift up) himself, and gadal (magnify) himself above every Al, and shall dabar (word / matter) palaa (be wonderful / extraordinary / marvelous) things against the Al of Al; and he shall tzalach (prosper) until the zaim (indignation) be kalah (complete / finish); for that which is charatz (determined) shall be ishah (make).
Neither shall he bayan (between) the Alahayam () of his ab (father), nor the chamadah (desire) of nashayam (women), nor bayan (between) any Alawah (); for he shall gadal (magnify) himself above all.
But in his kan (for sure) shall he honor the Alawah () of fortresses; and a Alawah () whom his ab (father) didn't yadai (know) shall he honor with zahab (gold), and kasap (silver), and with yaqar (precious) aban (stone), and chamad (pleasant) things.
He shall ishah (make) with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign Alawah (): whoever nakar (acknowledges) him he will rabah (increase) with kabawad (glory); and he shall mashal (rule/have dominion) them to rule over many, and shall chalaq (divide) the adamah (land) for a machayar (price).
“At the ith (time) of the qatz (end) shall the malak (king) of the nagab (south) contend with him; and the malak (king) of the tzapawan (north) shall shair (dread / storm / horror) against him like a whirlwind, with rakab (chariots), and with horsemen, and with many anayawath (ships); and he shall bawaa (bring) into the aratzawath (countries), and shall shatap (overflow) and ibar (pass over/through) through.
He shall bawaa (bring) also into the tzabay (glorious) aratz (Earth/land), and many countries shall be kashal (stumble / stagger); but these shall be malat (delivered) out of his yad (hand): Adawam (Edom), and Mawaab (Moab), and the raashayath (beginning) of the banay (my son) of Imawan (Ammon).
He shall shalach (send) forth his yad (hand) also on the aratzawath (countries); and the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) shall not palayatah (escape).
But he shall have mashal (rule/have dominion) over the makamanay (treasures) of zahab (gold) and of kasap (silver), and over all the chamad (precious) things of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt); and the labayam (libyans) and the Kawashay (Ethiopians) shall be at his matzaid (steps).
But shamaiwath (news) out of the mazarach (east) and out of the tzapawan (north) shall bahal (trouble) him; and he shall yatzaa (go out / come out) forth with gadawal (very great/important/mighty) fury to shamad (destroy) and charam (utterly) to sweep away many.
He shall natai (plant) the ahalay (tents) of his apadan (palace) between the yam (sea/waters) and the tzabay (glorious) qadash (set apart / make holy) har (mountain); yet he shall bawaa (bring) to his qatz (end), and none shall izar (help) him.
