In the shanayam (two) shanah (year) of the malakawath (reign) of Nabawakadanaatzar (Nebuchadnezzar), Nabawakadanaatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) chalam (dream) chalamawath (dreams); and his rawach (spirit / wind) was paim (troubled), and his shanah (sleep) went from him.
Then the malak (king) commanded to qaraa (called) the charatamayam (magicians), and the enchanters, and the makashapayam (sorcerers), and the Kashaday (Chaldeans), to nagad (tell) the malak (king) his chalawam (dreams). So they bawaa (bring) in and imad (stood) panayam (face) the malak (king).
The malak (king) amar (said) to them, “I have chalam (dream) a chalawam (dream), and my rawach (spirit / wind) is paim (troubled) to yadai (know) the chalawam (dream).”
Then dabar (word / matter) the Kashaday (Chaldeans) to the malak (king) in the Aramayath (Syrian) language, “O malak (king), chayaa (live) ilam (forever): amar (said) your ibad (servant) the dream, and we will show the pashar (interpretation).”
The malak (king) inah (answer / respond) the Kashaday (Chaldeans), “The thing is azad (gone) from me: if you don't yadai (make) known to me the dream and its pashar (interpretation), you shall be ibad (servant) in hadamayan (pieces), and your bayath (house) shall be shawam (place / establish / appoint) a nawalaw (dunghill).
But if you show the dream and its pashar (interpretation), you shall qabal (receive) of me mathanan (gifts) and nabazabah (rewards) and shagayaa (great) honor: therefore show me the dream and its pashar (interpretation).”
They inah (answer / respond) the thanayanawath (second) time and amar (said), “Let the malak (king) amar (said) his ibad (servant) the dream, and we will show the pashar (interpretation).”
The malak (king) inah (answer / respond), “I yadai (know) of a yatzayab (certainty) that you would zaban (gain) idan (Idan / Eden), qabal (because) you chazaa (see) the thing is azad (gone) from me.
But if you don't yadai (make) known to me the dream, there is but hawaa (which/who/that is) dath (law) for you; for you have zaman (prepared) kadab (lying) and shachath (corrupt) malah (words) to amar (said) qadam (before) me, id (until / as far as) the idan (Idan / Eden) be shanaa (hate): day (therefore) amar (said) me the dream, and I shall yadai (know) that you can show me its pashar (interpretation).”
The Kashaday (Chaldeans) inah (oppress / afflict) qadam (before) the malak (king), and amar (spoke), “There is not a anash (man) on the yabashath (earth) who yakal (can) show the malak (king) malah (matter), qabal (because) no malak (king), Adawan (), or shalayat (ruler), has shaal (asked) such a thing of any charatam (magician), or enchanter, or Kashaday (Chaldean).
It is a yaqayar (rare) thing that the malak (king) shaal (requires), and there is no other who can show it qadam (before) the malak (king), lahan (except) the Alahayam (), whose madawar (dwelling) is not with bashar (flesh).”
For dan (this) kal (every) the malak (king) was banas (angry) and very qatzap (furious), and commanded to abad (destroy / perish) kal (every) the chakayam (wise) men of Babal (Babylon).
So the dath (decree) napaq (went) forth, and the chakayam (wise) men were to be qatal (slain); and they baia (sought) Danayaal (Daniel) and his chabar (companions) to be qatal (slain).
Then Danayaal (Daniel) thawab (returned) answer with itaa (counsel) and prudence to Arayawak (Arioch) the rab (captain) of the malak (king) tabach (guard), who was napaq (gone) forth to kill the chakayam (wise) men of Babal (Babylon);
He inah (answer / respond) Arayawak (Arioch) the malak (king) shalayat (captain), “mah (why) is the dath (decree) so chatzap (urgent) from the malak (king)?” Then Arayawak (Arioch) made the thing yadai (known) to Danayaal (Daniel).
Danayaal (Daniel) ilal (went) in, and baia (desired) of the malak (king) that he would appoint him a zaman (time), and he would show the malak (king) the pashar (interpretation).
Then Danayaal (Daniel) azal (went) to his bayath (house), and made the thing yadai (known) to Chananayah (Hananiah), Mayashaal (Mishael), and Izarayah (Azariah), his chabar (companions):
That they would baia (desire) rachamayan (mercies) of the Alahayam () of shamayan (heaven) il (over) dan (this) raz (secret); that Danayaal (Daniel) and his chabar (companions) should not abad (destroy / perish) with the shaar (rest) of the chakayam (wise) men of Babal (Babylon).
Then was the raz (secret) galah (revealed) to Danayaal (Daniel) in a chazaw (vision) of the layalayaa (night). Then Danayaal (Daniel) barak (blessed) the Alahayam () of shamayan (heaven).
Danayaal (Daniel) inah (oppress / afflict), “barak (blessed) be the sham (name) of Alahayam () id (until / as far as) and ilam (ever); for chakamah (wisdom) and gabawarah (might) are his.
He shanaa (hate) the idanay (times) and the zamanay (seasons); he idaa (removes) malakayan (kings), and qawam (rise up) up malakayan (kings); he yahab (gives) chakamah (wisdom) to the chakayam (wise), and manadai (knowledge) to those who have bayanah (understanding);
He galah (reveals) the imayaq (deep) and sathar (secret) things; he yadai (knows) mah (what) is in the chashawak (darkness), and the nahayar (light) sharaa (dwells) with him.
I yadaa (thank) you, and shabach (praise) you, you Alahayam () of my ab (father), who have yahab (given) me chakamah (wisdom) and gabawarah (might), and have kain (now) yadai (made) known to me what we baia (desired) of you; for you have yadai (made) known to us the malak (king) malah (matter).”
Qabal (therefore) Danayaal (Daniel) ilal (went) in to Arayawak (Arioch), whom the malak (king) had appointed to abad (destroy / perish) the chakayam (wise) men of Babal (Babylon); he azal (went) and amar (said) kan (for sure) to him: “Don't abad (destroy / perish) the chakayam (wise) men of Babal (Babylon); ilal (bring) me in qadam (before) the malak (king), and I will show to the malak (king) the pashar (interpretation).”
Then Arayawak (Arioch) ilal (brought) in Danayaal (Daniel) qadam (before) the malak (king) in bahal (haste), and amar (said) kan (for sure) to him, “I have shakach (found) a gabar (man) of the banay (my son) of the captivity of Yahawad (Judah), who will yadai (make) known to the malak (king) the pashar (interpretation).”
The malak (king) inah (answer / respond) Danayaal (Daniel), whose sham (name) was Balatashaatzar (Belteshazzar), “Are you kahal (able) to yadai (make) known to me the dream which I chazaa (have) seen, and its pashar (interpretation)?”
Danayaal (Daniel) inah (answer / respond) qadam (before) the malak (king), and amar (said), “The raz (secret) which the malak (king) has shaal (demanded) yakal (can) neither chakayam (wise) men, enchanters, charatamayan (magicians), nor gazarayan (soothsayers), show to the malak (king);
But there is a Alahayam () in shamayan (heaven) who galah (reveals) razayan (secrets), and he has yadai (made) known to the malak (king) Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) mah (what) shall be in the acharayath (latter) yawamay (days). Your dream, and the chazaway (visions) of your raash (head) on your mashakab (bed), are these:
“As for you, O malak (king), your raiyawan (thoughts) salaq (came) into your il (over) on your mashakab (bed), mah (what) should happen achar (other); and he who galah (reveals) razay (secrets) has yadai (made) known to you mah (what) shall happen.
But as for me, dan (this) raz (secret) is not galah (revealed) to me for any chakamah (wisdom) that I ayathay (have) more man (from) any chay (life), but to the intent that the pashar (interpretation) may be yadai (made) known to the malak (king), and that you may yadai (know) the raiyawanay (thoughts) of your labab (heart).
“You, O malak (king), hawaa (which/who/that is), and alaw (behold), a great tzalam (likeness). Dakan (this) tzalam (likeness), which was rab (mighty), and whose zayaw (brightness) was yathayar (excellent), qawam (rise up) qabal (before) you; and its aspect was awesome.
As for this tzalam (statue), its raash (head) was of tab (fine) dahab (gold), its chaday (breast) and its darai (arms) of kasap (silver), its maih (belly) and its yarakaa (thighs) of nachash (brass),
Its shaq (legs) of parazal (iron), its ragal (feet) man (from) of parazal (iron), and man (from) of chasap (clay).
You chazaa (saw) id (until / as far as) a aban (stone) was gazar (cut) out laa (without) yadayan (hands), which struck the tzalam (likeness) on its ragal (feet) that were of parazal (iron) and chasap (clay), and daqaq (broke) them in daqaq (pieces).
Then was the parazal (iron), the chasap (clay), the nachash (brass), the kasap (silver), and the dahab (gold), daqaq (broken) in pieces chad (together), and hawaa (became) like the iwar (chaff) of the qayat (summer) threshing floors; and the rawach (spirit / wind) nashaa (blew) them away, so that no athar (place) was shakach (found) for them: and the aban (stone) that struck the tzalam (statue) hawaa (became) a rab (great) tawar (har / mountain), and malaa (filled) kal (all) the arai (aratz/earth).
“Dan (this) is the dream; and we will amar (said) its pashar (interpretation) qadam (before) the malak (king).
You, O malak (king), are malak (king) of malakay (kings), to whom the Alahayam () of shamayan (heaven) has yahab (given) the malakaw (kingdom), the chasan (power), and the thaqap (strength), and the glory;
And wherever the banay (my son) of anash (men) dawar (dwell), the animals of the bar (field) and the birds of the sky has he yahab (given) into your yad (hand), and shalat (has) made you to rule over them kal (every): you are the raash (head) of dahab (gold).
“Athar (after) you shall arise acharay (another) malakaw (kingdom) inferior to you; and acharay (another) thalayathay (third) malakaw (kingdom) of nachash (brass), which shall shalat (bear) rule over kal (every) the arai (earth).
The rabayaiy (fourth) malakaw (kingdom) shall be thaqayap (strong) as parazal (iron), because parazal (iron) daqaq (breaks) in pieces and chashal (subdues) kal (every) things; and as parazal (iron) that crushes kal (every) these, shall it daqaq (break) in pieces and raii (crush).
Whereas you chazaa (saw) the ragalay (feet) and atzabaith (toes), man (from) of pachar (potters)’ chasap (clay), and man (from) of parazal (iron), it shall be a palag (divided) malakaw (kingdom); but there shall be in it of the natzabah (strength) of the parazal (iron), because you chazaa (saw) the parazal (iron) irab (evening) with tayan (miry) chasap (clay).
As the atzabaith (toes) of the ragalay (feet) were man (from) of parazal (iron), and man (from) of chasap (clay), so the malakaw (kingdom) shall be partly thaqayap (strong), and partly thabar (broken).
Whereas you chazaa (saw) the parazal (iron) irab (evening) with tayan (miry) chasap (clay), they shall hawaa (which/who/that is) themselves with the zarai (seed) of anash (men); but they shall not cling to dan (one) dan (another), even as parazal (iron) does not irab (evening) with chasap (clay).
“In the yawam (day) of those malakay (kings) shall the Alahayam () of shamayan (heaven) qawam (rise up) up a malakaw (kingdom) which shall ilam (never) be chabal (destroyed), nor shall its sovereignty be shabaq (left) to acharan (another) im (nation / people); but it shall daqaq (break) in pieces and sawap (consume) kal (every) these malakaw (kingdoms), and it shall qawam (rise up) ilam (forever).
Because you chazaa (saw) that a aban (stone) was gazar (cut) out of the tawar (mountain) laa (NOT) yadayan (hands), and that it daqaq (broke) in pieces the parazal (iron), the nachash (brass), the chasap (clay), the kasap (silver), and the dahab (gold); the rab (great) Alahayam () has yadai (made) known to the malak (king) mah (what) shall happen achar (other): and the dream is yatzayab (certain), and its pashar (interpretation) aman (believe / have faith).”
Then the malak (king) Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) napal (fall / be cast down) on his anap (face), and sagad (worshiped) Danayaal (Daniel), and commanded that they should nasak (offer) an manachah (offering) and nayachawach (sweet) odors to him.
The malak (king) inah (oppress / afflict) to Danayaal (Daniel), and amar (spoke), “Of a qashawat (truth) your Alahayam () is the Alahayam () of Alahayam (), and the Adawan () of malakayan (kings), and a revealer of razayan (secrets), since you have been yakal (able) to galah (reveal) dan (this) raz (secret).”
Then the malak (king) rabah (made) Danayaal (Daniel) rabarab (great), and yahab (gave) him many rabarab (great) mathanan (gifts), and made him to shalat (rule) over the kal (every) madayanah (province) of Babal (Babylon), and to be rab (chief) sagan (governor) over kal (every) the chakayam (wise) men of Babal (Babylon).
Danayaal (Daniel) baia (requested) of the malak (king), and he appointed Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), over the ibayadah (affairs) of the madayanah (province) of Babal (Babylon): but Danayaal (Daniel) was in the tharai (gate) of the malak (king).
