1 Then I shawab (turned), and I nashaa (lifted) my iyan (eyes), and I raah (saw) — and hanah (behold), an iwap (flying) magalah (scroll).
2 He amar (said) to me, “What do you raah (see / saw)?” I amar (said), “I raah (see / saw) a iwap (flying) scroll; its arak (length) is isharayam (twenty) amah (cubits), and its rachab (breadth) ishar (ten) amah (cubits).”
3 Then he amar (said) to me, “This is the alah (these) that yatzaa (go out / come out) out over the surface of the whole aratz (Earth/land); for everyone who ganab (steals) shall be naqah (clean/innocent) off kamaw (according) to it on the one side; and everyone who shabai (swear / take oath) falsely shall be naqah (clean/innocent) off kamaw (according) to it on the other side.
4 I will yatzaa (go out / come out) it to go out,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), “and it will bawaa (come) into the bayath (house) of the ganab (thief), and into the bayath (house) of him who shabai (swear / take oath) falsely by my sham (name); and it will lawan (remain) in the thawak (midst) of his bayath (house), and will kalah (complete / finish) it with its itz (timber) and its aban (stone).”
5 Then the malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who dabar (word / matter) with me yatzaa (go out / come out) forward, and amar (said) to me, “nashaa (lift) up now your iyan (eye), and raah (see / saw) what is this that is yatzaa (go out / come out).”
6 I amar (said), “What is it?” He amar (said), “This is the ayapah (ephah) basket that is appearing.” He amar (said) moreover, “This is their iyan (eye) in all the aratz (Earth/land)
7 (And behold, a kakar (talent) of iwaparath (lead) was nashaa (lift) up); and this is a ayashah (woman / wife) sitting in the thawak (midst) of the ayapah (ephah) basket.”
8 He amar (said), “This is rashaih (wickedness);” and he shalak (threw) her down into the thawak (midst) of the ayapah (ephah) basket; and he shalak (threw) the aban (stone) of iwaparath (lead) on its pah (mouth).
9 Then nashaa (lift) I up my iyan (eye), and raah (see / saw), and behold, there were shanayam (two) nashayam (women), and the rawach (spirit / wind) was in their kanapayam (wings). Now they had kanapayam (wings) like the kanapayam (wings) of a chasayadah (stork), and they nashaa (lift) up the ayapah (ephah) basket between aratz (Earth/land) and the sky.
10 Then I amar (said) to the malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) who dabar (word / matter) with me, “Where are these yalak (carrying) the ayapah (ephah) basket?”
11 He amar (said) to me, “To banah (build) her a bayath (house) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Shanair (Shinar). When it is kawan (prepared), she will be yanach (set) there in her own place.”
