Malachi 4 — English–Hebrew Parallel

1 "For, behold, the yawam (day) bawaa (come), it bair (burns) as a thanawar (furnace); and all the zad (proud), and all who ishah (make) rashaih (wickedness), will be qash (stubble); and the yawam (day) that bawaa (come) will lahat (burn) them up," amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaa (troop), "that it shall izab (leave) them neither sharash (root) nor inap (branch).

2 But to you who yaraa (fear) my sham (name) shall the shamash (sun) of tzadaqah (righteousness) qawam (arise) with marapaa (healing) in its kanap (wings). You will yatzaa (go out), and dalag (leap) hamah (like) calves of the marabaq (stall).

3 You shall isas (tread) down the rashai (wicked); for they will be ashes under the kap (soles) of your ragal (feet / foot) in the yawam (day) that I ishah (make)," amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaa (troop).

4 "Zakar (remembrance/memory) the thawarah (instruction) of Mashah (Moses) my ibad (servant), which I tzawah (commanded) to him in Charab (Horeb) for all Yashar-Al (Israel), even chaq (statute) and mashapat (ordinances).

5 Behold, I will shalach (send) you Alayah (Elijah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) panayam (before) the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) and yaraa (fear / be afraid) yawam (day) of Yahawah () bawaa (come).

6 He will shawab (turn) the lab (heart) of the ab (father) to the ban (son), and the lab (heart) of the ban (son) to their ab (father), lest I bawaa (bring) and nakah (strike) the aratz (Earth/land) with a charam (curse).
