Then she yarad (let) them down by a chabal (cord) baid (through) the chalawan (window); for her bayath (house) was on the qayar (side) of the chawamah (wall), and she lived on the chawamah (wall).

The anashayam (men) amar (said) to her, “We will be naqay (guiltless) of this your shabawaih (oath) which you have made us to shabai (swear / take oath).

Behold, when we bawaa (bring) into the aratz (Earth/land), you shall qashar (bind) this line of shanay (second) chawat (thread) in the chalawan (window) which you used to let us down. You shall asap (gather) to yourself into the bayath (house) your ab (father), your am (mother), your ach (brother/kinsman), and all your ab (father) bayath (house).

It shall be that whoever yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the dalathay (doors) of your bayath (house) into the chawatz (street), his dam (blood) will be on his raash (head), and we will be naqay (guiltless). Whoever is with you in the bayath (house), his dam (blood) shall be on our raash (head), if any yad (hand) is on him.

But if you talk about this dabar (word / matter) of ours, then we shall be naqay (guiltless) of your shabawaih (oath) which you have made us to shabai (swear / take oath).”

She amar (said), “According to your dabar (word / matter), so be it.” She shalach (send) them away, and they departed. She tied the shanay (second) line in the chalawan (window).

They yalak (went), and bawaa (bring) to the har (mountain), and stayed there shalawash (three) yamayam (days), until the radapayam (pursuers) had shawab (turn). The radapayam (pursuers) baqash (sought) them throughout all the darak (way), but didn't matzaa (find) them.

Then the shanayam (two) anashayam (men) shawab (turn), descended from the har (mountain), ibar (pass over/through) over, and bawaa (bring) to Yahawashawai (Joshua) the ban (son) of Nawan (Nun); and they sapar (book) him all that matzaa (had) happened to them.

They amar (spoke) to Yahawashawai (Joshua), “kay (surely) Yahawah () nathan (give) delivered into our yad (hand) all the aratz (Earth/land). Moreover, all the yashabay (inhabitants) of the aratz (Earth/land) mawag (melt) away panayam (face) us.”
