Then Yahawashawai (Joshua) qaraa (called) the Raawabanay (Reubenites), the Gaday (Gadites), and the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh),
And amar (spoke) to them, “You have shamar (keep/guard) all that Mashah (Moses) the ibad (servant) of Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) you, and have shamai (hearken / hear) to my qawal (sound / voice) in all that I tzawah (commanded) you.
You have not izab (left) your ach (brother/kinsman) these many yamayam (days) to this yawam (day), but have performed the duty of the matzawah (commandment) of Yahawah () your Alahayam ().
Now Yahawah () your Alahayam () has given nawach (rest) to your ach (brother/kinsman), as he dabar (word / matter) to them. Therefore now panah (turn) and yalak (go) to your ahal (tents), to the aratz (Earth/land) of your achazah (possession), which Mashah (Moses) the ibad (servant) of Yahawah () nathan (give) you ibar (beyond) the Yaradan (Jordan).
Only take diligent shamar (keep/guard) to ishah (make) the matzawah (commandment) and the thawarah (instruction) which Mashah (Moses) the ibad (servant) of Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) you, to ahab (love) Yahawah () your Alahayam (), to yalak (walk) in all his darak (ways), to shamar (keep/guard) his matzawah (commandments), to hold dabaq (fast) to him, and to ibad (servant) him with all your labab (heart) and with all your napash (soul).”
So Yahawashawai (Joshua) barak (blessed) them, and shalach (send) them away; and they yalak (went) to their ahal (tents).
Now to the chatzay (one) half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh) Mashah (Moses) nathan (give) given inheritance in Bashan (Bashan); but to the other chatzay (half) nathan (give) Yahawashawai (Joshua) im (nation / people) their ach (brother/kinsman) ibar (beyond) the Yaradan (Jordan) westward. Moreover when Yahawashawai (Joshua) shalach (send) them away to their ahal (tents), he barak (blessed) them,
And amar (said) to them, amar (said), “shawab (turn) with much nakas (wealth) to your ahal (tents), with very much livestock, with kasap (silver), with zahab (gold), with nachashath (brass), with barazal (iron), and with very much clothing. Chalaq (divide) the shalal (spoil) of your ayab (enemy) with your ach (brother/kinsman).”
The banay (children) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the banay (children) of Gad (Gad) and the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh) shawab (turn back / repent), and departed from the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) out of Shayalah (Shiloh), which is in the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), to yalak (go) to the aratz (Earth/land) of Galaid (Gilead), to the aratz (Earth/land) of their achazah (possession), which they owned, pah (according) to the commandment of Yahawah () by Mashah (Moses).
When they bawaa (bring) to the region about the Yaradan (Jordan), that is in the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad) and the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh) banah (build) there an mazabach (altar) by the Yaradan (Jordan), a gadawal (very great/important/mighty) mazabach (altar) to maraah (look) at.
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shamai (hearken / hear) this, “Behold, the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad) and the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh) have banah (build) an mazabach (altar) in the mawal (forefront) of the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), in the region about the Yaradan (Jordan), on the ibar (side) that pertains to the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel).”
When the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shamai (hearken / hear) of it, the whole idah (congregation) of the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) qahal (gathered) themselves together at Shayalah (Shiloh), to ilah (go up / offer) up against them to tzabaa (troop).
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shalach (send) to the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben), and to the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad), and to the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh), into the aratz (Earth/land) of Galaid (Gilead), Payanachas (Phinehas) the ban (son) of Alaizar (Eleazar) the kahan (priest),
And with him ishar (ten) nashaayam (princes), one nashayaa (prince) of a ab (father)’ bayath (house) for achad (one) of the matawath (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel); and they were everyone of them raash (head) of their ab (father)’ bayath (house) among the alapay (thousands) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
They bawaa (bring) to the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben), and to the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad), and to the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh), to the aratz (Earth/land) of Galaid (Gilead), and they dabar (word / matter) with them, amar (said),
“Thus amaraw (says) the whole idah (congregation) of Yahawah (), ‘What mail (top/above) is this that you have mail (top/above) against the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), to shawab (turn back / repent) away this yawam (day) from achar (other) Yahawah (), in that you have banah (build) yourselves an mazabach (altar), to marad (rebel) this yawam (day) against Yahawah ()?
Is the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of Paiwar (Peor) too mait (little) for us, from which we have not tahar (cleansed) ourselves to this yawam (day), although there came a nagap (plague) on the idah (congregation) of Yahawah (),
That you must shawab (turn back / repent) away this yawam (day) from achar (other) Yahawah ()? It will be, since you marad (rebel) today against Yahawah (), that machar (tomorrow) he will be qatzap (angry) with the whole idah (congregation) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
However, if the aratz (Earth/land) of your achazah (possession) is tamaa (unclean), then ibar (pass over/through) over to the aratz (Earth/land) of the achazah (possession) of Yahawah (), in which Yahawah () mashakan (tabernacle) shakan (place), and take achaz (possession) thawak (midst) us; but don't marad (rebel) against Yahawah (), al (not) marad (rebel) against us, in banah (build) an mazabach (altar) other than the mazabach (altar) of Yahawah () our Alahayam ().
Didn't Ikan (Achan) the ban (son) of Zarach (Zerah) mail (top/above) a mail (top/above) in the charam (devoted) thing, and qatzap (wrath) hayah (came to pass) on all the idah (congregation) of Yashar-Al (Israel)? That ayash (man / husband) didn't gawai (perish) achad (one) in his iwan (guilt/iniquity).’”
Then the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad) and the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh) inah (answer / respond), and dabar (word / matter) to the raashay (heads) of the alapay (thousands) of Yashar-Al (Israel),
“The Mighty One, Al, Yahawah (), the Mighty One, Al, Yahawah (), he yadai (knows); and Yashar-Al (Israel) shall yadai (know): if it was in marad (rebellion), or if in mail (top/above) against Yahawah (don't yashai (salvation) us this yawam (day)),
That we have banah (build) us an mazabach (altar) to shawab (turn back / repent) achar (other) from following Yahawah (); or if to ilah (go up / offer) burnt ilah (offering) or meal ilah (offering), or if to ishah (make) sacrifices of shalam (peace) zabachay (offerings), let Yahawah () himself baqash (require) it.
“If we have not out of concern ishah (make) this, and for a reason, amar (spoke), ‘In machar (time) to come your ban (son) might amar (spoke) to our ban (son), amar (spoke), “What have you to do with Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel)?
For Yahawah () nathan (give) made the Yaradan (Jordan) a gabawal (border/boundary) between us and you, you banay (children) of Raawaban (Reuben) and banay (children) of Gad (Gad). You have no chalaq (portion) in Yahawah ().”’ So your banay (children) might shabath (shabath / rest) our banay (children) shabath (shabath / rest) from yaraa (fear / be afraid) Yahawah ().
“Therefore we amar (said), ‘Let's now ishah (make) to banah (build) ourselves an mazabach (altar), not for burnt ilah (offering), nor for zabach (sacrifice);
But it will be a id (until / as far as) between us and you, and between our dawar (generation / age / period) achar (other) us, that we may perform the ibadah (service) of Yahawah () panayam (face) him with our burnt ilah (offerings), with our zabach (sacrifices), and with our shalam (peace) offerings;’ that your ban (son) may not amar (spoke) our ban (son) in machar (time) to come, ‘You have no chalaq (portion) in Yahawah ().’
“Therefore we amar (spoke), ‘It shall be, when they amar (spoke) us or our dawar (generation / age / period) this in machar (time) to come, that we shall amar (spoke), “raah (see) the thabanayath (pattern) of the mazabach (altar) of Yahawah (), which our ab (father) ishah (make), not for burnt ilah (offering), nor for zabach (sacrifice); but it is a id (until / as far as) between us and you.”’
“Chalayalah (far) be it from us that we should marad (rebel) against Yahawah (), and shawab (turn back / repent) away this yawam (day) from achar (other) Yahawah (), to banah (build) an mazabach (altar) for burnt ilah (offering), for meal manachah (offering), or for zabach (sacrifice), besides the mazabach (altar) of Yahawah () our Alahayam () that is panayam (face) his mashakan (tabernacle)!”
When Payanachas (Phinehas) the kahan (priest), and the nashayaay (princes) of the idah (congregation), even the raashay (heads) of the alapay (thousands) of Yashar-Al (Israel) that were with him, shamai (hearken / hear) the dabarayam (words) that the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad) and the banay (my son) of Manashah (Manasseh) dabar (word / matter), it yatab (pleased) them well.
Payanachas (Phinehas) the ban (son) of Alaizar (Eleazar) the kahan (priest) amar (spoke) to the banay (children) of Raawaban (Reuben), to the banay (children) of Gad (Gad), and to the banay (children) of Manashah (Manasseh), “Today we yadai (know) that Yahawah () is in the thawak (midst) of us, because you have not mail (top/above) this mail (top/above) against Yahawah (). Az (now) you have natzal (delivered) the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) out of the yad (hand) of Yahawah ().”
Payanachas (Phinehas) the ban (son) of Alaizar (Eleazar) the kahan (priest), and the nashayaayam (princes), shawab (turn) from the banay (my son) of Raawaban (Reuben), and from the banay (my son) of Gad (Gad), out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Galaid (Gilead), to the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), to the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel), and shawab (turn) them dabar (word / matter) again.
The thing yatab (pleased) the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel); and the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) barak (blessed) Alahayam (), and amar (spoke) no more of ilah (go up / offer) up against them to tzabaa (troop), to shachath (destroy) the aratz (Earth/land) in which the banay (children) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the children of Gad (Gad) lived.
The banay (children) of Raawaban (Reuben) and the banay (children) of Gad (Gad) qaraa (called) the mazabach (altar) “A id (until / as far as) Between Us that Yahawah () is Alahayam ().”
