Now these are the gawayam (nations) which Yahawah () yanach (left), to nasah (prove) Yashar-Al (Israel) by them, even as many as yadai (had) not known all the malachamawath (wars) of Kanain (Canaan);
Only that the darawath (generations) of the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) might yadai (know), to lamad (teach / instruct) them malachamah (war), at the least such as panayam (face) yadai (knew) nothing of it:
The chamash (five) saranay (lords) of the Palashathay (Philistines), and all the Kanainay (Canaanite), and the Tzayadanay (Sidonians), and the Chaway (Hivites) who lived on har (mountain) Labanawan (Lebanon), from har (mountain) Bailacharamawan (Baal Hermon) to the entrance of Chamath (Hamath).
They were left to test Yashar-Al (Israel) by them, to yadai (know) whether they would shamai (hearken / hear) to the matzawath (commandments) of Yahawah (), which he tzawah (commanded) their ab (father) by Mashah (Moses).
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) lived qarab (among / near) the Kanainay (Canaanite), the Chathay (Hittites), and the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), and the Parazay (Perizzites), and the Chaway (Hivites), and the Yabawasay (Jebusites):
And they laqach (take / seize) their banath (daughter) to be their wives, and nathan (give) their own banath (daughter) to their ban (son) and ibad (servant) their Alahayam ().
The banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) ishah (make) that which was rai (evil) in the iyan (eye) of Yahawah (), and shakach (forgot) Yahawah () their Alahayam (), and ibad (servant) the Bail (Baals) and the Asharah (Asheroth).
Therefore the ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) of Yahawah () was charah (hot with anger) against Yashar-Al (Israel), and he makar (sold) them into the yad (hand) of Kawashanarashaithayam (Cushan Rishathaim) malak (king) of Aramanaharayam (Mesopotamia): and the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) ibad (servant) Kawashanarashaithayam (Cushan Rishathaim) shamanah (eight) shanayam (years).
When the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) zaiq (cried) to Yahawah (), Yahawah () qawam (rise up) up a savior to the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel), who yashai (salvation) them, even Ithanayaal (Othniel) the ban (son) of Qanaz (Kenaz), Kalab (Caleb's) younger ach (brother/kinsman).
The rawach (spirit / wind) of Yahawah () came on him, and he shapat (judge / judgement) Yashar-Al (Israel); and he yatzaa (go out / come out) out to malachamah (war), and Yahawah () nathan (give) Kawashanarashaithayam (Cushan Rishathaim) malak (king) of Aram (Mesopotamia) into his yad (hand): and his yad (hand) izaz (prevailed) against Kawashanarashaithayam (Cushan Rishathaim).
The aratz (Earth/land) had shaqat (rest) arabaiyam (forty) shanah (years). Ithanayaal (Othniel) the ban (son) of Qanaz (Kenaz) mawath (death).
The banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) again ishah (make) that which was rai (evil) in the iyan (eye) of Yahawah (): and Yahawah () chazaq (strengthened) Igalawan (Eglon) the malak (king) of Mawaab (Moab) against Yashar-Al (Israel), because they ishah (make) done that which was rai (evil) in the iyan (eye) of Yahawah ().
He asap (gathered) to him the banay (my son) of Imawan (Ammon) and Imalaq (Amalek); and he yalak (went) and nakah (struck) Yashar-Al (Israel), and they yarash (possessed) the iyar (city) of thamar (palm) trees.
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) ibad (servant) Igalawan (Eglon) the malak (king) of Mawaab (Moab) eighteen shanah (years).
But when the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) zaiq (cried) to Yahawah (), Yahawah () qawam (rise up) them up a savior, Ahawad (Ehud) the ban (son) of Garaa (Gera), the Banayamayanay (Benjamite), a ayash (man / husband) atar (left-handed). The banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shalach (send) tribute by him to Igalawan (Eglon) the malak (king) of Mawaab (Moab).
Ahawad (Ehud) ishah (make) him a charab (sword) which had shanayam (two) payawath (edges), a gamad (cubit) in arak (length); and he wore it under his clothing on his yamayan (right hand) yarak (thigh).
He qarab (come close) the tribute to Igalawan (Eglon) malak (king) of Mawaab (Moab): now Igalawan (Eglon) was a very barayaa (fat) ayash (man / husband).
When he kalah (complete / finish) made an end of qarab (come close) the tribute, he shalach (send) away the im (nation / people) who nashaa (lift) the tribute.
But he himself shawab (turn) back from the pasayalayam (quarries) that were by Galagal (Gilgal), and amar (said), “I have a sathar (secret / hidden) dabar (word / matter) to you, malak (king).” The king amar (said), “Keep hasah (silence)!” All who imad (stood) by him yatzaa (go out / come out) out from him.
Ahawad (Ehud) bawaa (come) to him; and he was sitting by himself maqarah (alone) in the cool upper room. Ahawad (Ehud) amar (spoke), “I have a dabar (word / matter) from Alahayam () to you.” He qawam (rise up) out of his kasaa (seat).
Ahawad (Ehud) shalach (send) forth his shamaawal (left hand) yad (hand), and laqach (take / seize) the charab (sword) from his yamayan (right hand) yarak (thigh), and thaqai (blow / sound alarm) it into his batan (body):
And the handle also bawaa (bring) in achar (other) the lahab (blade); and the chalab (fat) sagar (closed) on the lahab (blade), for he didn't shalap (draw) the charab (sword) out of his batan (body); and it yatzaa (go out / come out) out behind.
Then Ahawad (Ehud) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth into the masadarawan (porch), and sagar (shut) the dalathawath (doors) of the upper room on him, and nail (locked) them.
Now when he was yatzaa (go out / come out) out, his ibad (servant) bawaa (bring); and they raah (see / saw), and behold, the dalathawath (doors) of the upper room were nail (locked); and they amar (said), “Surely he is sakak (covering) his ragal (feet / foot) in the upper room.”
They chawal (waited) until they were bawash (ashamed); and behold, he didn't pathach (open) the dalathawath (doors) of the upper room: therefore they laqach (take / seize) the mapathach (key), and pathach (opened) them, and behold, their Adawan () was napal (fall / be cast down) down mawath (death) on the aratz (Earth/land).
Ahawad (Ehud) malat (escaped) while they waited, and ibar (pass over/through) beyond the pasayalayam (quarries), and malat (escaped) to Shaiyarah (Seirah).
It happened, when he bawaa (bring) come, that he thaqai (blow / sound alarm) a shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn) in the har (mountain) country of Aparayam (Ephraim); and the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) yarad (went) down with him from the har (mountain) country, and he panayam (face) them.
He amar (spoke) to them, “radap (follow) me; for Yahawah () nathan (give) delivered your ayab (enemy) the Mawaab (Moabites) into your yad (hand).” They followed him, and lakad (took) the maibarawath (fords) of the Yaradan (Jordan) against the Mawaab (Moabites), and didn't allow any ayash (man / husband) to ibar (pass over/through) over.
They nakah (struck) of Mawaab (Moab) at that ith (time) about ishar (ten) alap (thousand) ayash (man / husband), every shaman (lusty) ayash (man / husband), and every man of valor; and there malat (escaped) not a ayash (man / husband).
So Mawaab (Moab) was kanai (subdued) that yawam (day) under the yad (hand) of Yashar-Al (Israel). The aratz (Earth/land) had shaqat (rest) shamanayam (eighty) shanah (years).
Achar (other) him was Shamagar (Shamgar) the ban (son) of Inath (Anath), who nakah (struck) of the Palashathay (Philistines) shash (six) maah (hundred) ayash (man / husband) with an baqar (morning) - malamad (goad): and he also yashai (salvation) Yashar-Al (Israel).
