2 Nachash (Nahash) the Imawanay (Ammonite) amar (said) to them, “On zaath (this) condition I will karath (cut) it with you, that all your yamayan (right hand) iyan (eye) be naqar (put) out; and I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) it for a charapah (reproach) on all Yashar-Al (Israel).”
3 The zaqanay (elders) of Yabash (dry land) amar (said) to him, “Give us shabai (seven) yamayam (days), that we may shalach (send) malaakayam (messengers) to all the gabawal (border/boundary) of Yashar-Al (Israel); and then, if there is no one to yashai (salvation) us, we will yatzaa (go out / come out) out to you.”
4 Then the malaakayam (messengers) bawaa (bring) to Gabaih (Gibeah) of Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), and dabar (word / matter) these dabarayam (words) in the azanay (ears) of the im (nation / people): and all the im (nation / people) nashaa (lift) up their qawal (sound / voice), and bakah (wept).
5 Behold, Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) bawaa (bring) achar (other) the oxen out of the shadah (field); and Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) amar (said), “What ails the im (nation / people) that they bakah (weep)?” They sapar (book) him the dabaray (words) of the im (nation / people) of Yabash (dry land).
6 The rawach (spirit / wind) of Alahayam () tzalach (came) mightily on Shaawal (Saul) when he shamai (hearken / hear) those dabarayam (words), and his ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) was charah (hot with anger) maad (greatly).
7 He laqach (take / seize) a tzamad (yoke) of oxen, and nathach (cut) them in pieces, and shalach (send) them throughout all the gabawal (border/boundary) of Yashar-Al (Israel) by the yad (hand) of malaakayam (messengers), amar (spoke), “Whoever doesn't yatzaa (go out / come out) forth achar (other) Shaawal (Saul) and achar (other) Shamawaal (Samuel), so shall it be ishah (make) to his oxen.” The pachad (fear / dread) of Yahawah () napal (fall / be cast down) on the im (nation / people), and they yatzaa (go out / come out) out as achad (one) ayash (man / husband).
8 He paqad (visit) them in Bazaq (Bezek); and the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) were shalawash (three) maah (hundred) alap (thousand), and the ayash (man / husband) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) shalawashayam (thirty) alap (thousand).
9 They amar (said) to the malaakayam (messengers) who bawaa (bring), “Thus you shall amar (said) the anashay (men) of Yabash (dry land), ‘machar (tomorrow), by the time the shamash (sun) is cham (hot), you shall have thashawaih (deliverance).’” The malaakayam (messengers) bawaa (bring) and nagad (told) the anashay (men) of Yabash (dry land); and they were shamach (glad).
10 Therefore the anashay (men) of Yabash (dry land) amar (said), “machar (tomorrow) we will yatzaa (go out / come out) out to you, and you shall ishah (make) with us all that seems tawab (good / proper function) to you.”
11 It was so on the next macharath (day), that Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) shawam (place / establish / appoint) the im (nation / people) in shalawash (three) raashayam (companies); and they bawaa (bring) into the thawak (midst) of the machanah (camp) in the baqar (morning) ashamarah (watch), and nakah (struck) the Imawan (Ammonites) until the cham (heat) of the yawam (day): and it happened, that those who shaar (remained) were pawatz (scattered), so that no shanayam (two) of them were shaar (left) yachad (together).
12 The im (nation / people) amar (said) to Shamawaal (Samuel), “Who is he who amar (said), ‘Shall Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) malak (king) over us?’ Nathan (give) those men, that we may put them to mawath (death)!”
13 “Shaawal (Saul) amar (spoke), There shall not a ayash (man / husband) be put to mawath (death) this yawam (day); for today Yahawah () ishah (make) worked thashawaih (deliverance) in Yashar-Al (Israel).”
14 Then Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (said) to the im (nation / people), “yalak (come), and yalak (let) us go to Galagal (Gilgal), and chadash (renew) the malawakah (kingdom) there.”
15 All the im (nation / people) yalak (went) to Galagal (Gilgal); and there they made Shaawal (Saul) malak (king) panayam (face) Yahawah () in Galagal (Gilgal); and there they zabach (offered) zabachayam (sacrifices) of shalam (peace) offerings panayam (face) Yahawah (); and there Shaawal (Saul) and all the im (nation / people) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shamach (rejoiced) maad (greatly).
