Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) malak (king) a year; and when he had malak (king) shanayam (two) shanayam (two) over Yashar-Al (Israel),
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) bachar (chose) for himself shalawash (three) alap (thousand) men of Yashar-Al (Israel), of which two alap (thousand) were with Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) in Makamas (Michmash) and in the har (mountain) of Bayath-Al (Bethel), and one alap (thousand) were with Yawanathan (Jonathan) in Gabaih (Gibeah) of Banayamayan (Benjamin): and the yathar (rest) of the im (nation / people) he shalach (send) every ayash (man / husband) to his ahal (tent).
Yawanathan (Jonathan) nakah (struck) the natzayab (garrison) of the Palashathay (Philistines) that was in Gabai (Geba): and the Palashathay (Philistines) shamai (hearken / hear) of it. Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) thaqai (blow / sound alarm) the shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn) throughout all the aratz (Earth/land), amar (said), “Let the ibarayam (hebrews) shamai (hearken / hear)!”
All Yashar-Al (Israel) shamai (hearken / hear) that Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) had nakah (struck) the natzayab (garrison) of the Palashathay (Philistines), and also that Yashar-Al (Israel) was had in baash (abomination) with the Palashathay (Philistines). The im (nation / people) were tzaiq (gathered) together achar (other) Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) to Galagal (Gilgal).
The Palashathay (Philistines) asap (assembled) themselves together to lacham (fight) with Yashar-Al (Israel), shalawashayam (thirty) alap (thousand) rakab (chariots), and shash (six) alap (thousand) horsemen, and im (nation / people) as the chawal (sand) which is on the seashore in rab (multitude): and they ilah (go up / offer) up, and chanah (encamped) in Makamas (Michmash), qadamah (eastward) of Bayathaawan (Beth Aven).
When the ayash (man / husband) of Yashar-Al (Israel) raah (see / saw) that they were in a tzar (oppressor / distressor) (for the im (nation / people) were nagash (distressed)), then the im (nation / people) chabaa (hid) themselves in mairawath (caves), and in chawachayam (thickets), and in salaiyam (rocks), and in coverts, and in barawath (pits).
Now some of the ibarayam (hebrews) ibar (pass over/through) gone over the Yaradan (Jordan) to the aratz (Earth/land) of Gad (Gad) and Galaid (Gilead); but as for Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), he was yet in Galagal (Gilgal), and all the im (nation / people) achar (other) him charad (trembling).
He yachal (stayed) shabai (seven) yamayam (days), according to the mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) set by Shamawaal (Samuel): but Shamawaal (Samuel) didn't bawaa (bring) to Galagal (Gilgal); and the im (nation / people) were pawatz (scattered) from him.
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) amar (said), “nagash (bring) here the burnt ilah (offering) to me, and the shalam (peace) offerings.” He ilah (go up / offer) the burnt ilah (offering).
It came to kalah (complete / finish) that as soon as he had made an end of ilah (go up / offer) the burnt ilah (go up / offer), behold, Shamawaal (Samuel) bawaa (bring); and Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) yatzaa (go out / come out) out to qaraa (called) him, that he might greet him.
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (said), “What ishah (make) you done?” Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) amar (said), “Because I raah (see / saw) that the im (nation / people) were napatz (scattered) from me, and that you didn't bawaa (bring) within the yamayam (days) mawaid (Feast/Holy Day), and that the Palashathay (Philistines) asap (assembled) themselves together at Makamas (Michmash);
Therefore I amar (spoke), ‘Now the Palashathay (Philistines) will yarad (come) down on me to Galagal (Gilgal), and I haven't entreated the favor of Yahawah ().’ I apaq (forced) myself therefore, and ilah (go up / offer) the burnt ilah (offering).”
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke) to Shaawal (Saul), “You have sakal (done) foolishly. You have not shamar (keep/guard) the matzawah (commandment) of Yahawah () your Alahayam (), which he tzawah (commanded) you; for now Yahawah () would have kawan (established) your mamalakah (kingdom) on Yashar-Al (Israel) iwalam (forever).
But now your mamalakah (kingdom) shall not qawam (rise up). Yahawah () has baqash (sought) for himself a ayash (man / husband) after his own labab (heart), and Yahawah () has tzawah (appointed) him to be nagayad (prince) over his im (nation / people), because you have not shamar (keep/guard) that which Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) you.”
Shamawaal (Samuel) qawam (rise up), and ilah (go up / offer) from Galagal (Gilgal) to Gabaih (Gibeah) of Banayamayan (Benjamin). Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) paqad (visit) the im (nation / people) who were matzaa (present) with him, about shash (six) maah (hundred) ayash (man / husband).
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), and Yawanathan (Jonathan) his ban (son), and the im (nation / people) who were matzaa (present) with them, stayed in Gabai (Geba) of Banayamayan (Benjamin): but the Palashathay (Philistines) chanah (encamped) in Makamas (Michmash).
The shachath (spoilers) yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the machanah (camp) of the Palashathay (Philistines) in shalawash (three) raashayam (companies): achad (one) raash (head) panah (turn) to the darak (way) that leads to Iparah (Ophrah), to the aratz (Earth/land) of Shawail (Shual);
And another raash (head) panah (turn) the darak (way) to Bayathachawarawan (Beth Horon); and another raash (head) panah (turn) the darak (way) of the gabawal (border/boundary) that shaqap (looks) down on the gayaa (valley) of Tzabaiyam (Zeboim) toward the madabar (wilderness).
Now there was no charash (smith) matzaa (found) throughout all the aratz (Earth/land) of Yashar-Al (Israel); for the Palashathay (Philistines) amar (said), “Lest the ibarayam (hebrews) ishah (make) them charab (sword) or chanayath (spears)”;
But all the Yashar-Al (Israelites) yarad (went) down to the Palashathay (Philistines), to latash (sharpen) every ayash (man / husband) his plowshare, macharashah (mattock), axe, and sickle;
Yet they had a patzayarah (file) for the macharashath (mattocks), and for the athayam (plowshares), and for the shalawash (three), and for the axes, and to natzab (set) the darabawan (goads).
So it came to pass in the yawam (day) of malachamah (battle), that there was neither charab (sword) nor chanayath (spear) matzaa (found) in the yad (hand) of any of the im (nation / people) who were with Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) and Yawanathan (Jonathan): but with Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) and with Yawanathan (Jonathan) his ban (son) was there matzaa (found).
The matzab (garrison) of the Palashathay (Philistines) yatzaa (go out / come out) out to the maibar (pass) of Makamas (Michmash).
